As a bride who ran her own wedding coordination company and as well as continues to work with brides as a Director of Catering, there was no question that hiring a wedding coordinator was the best decision for us, though in hindsight the BEST decision we made was to work with Julie Shreck of Simply You. She helped us create the most memorable weekend of our lives and it all went off without a hitch! As a member of the wedding industry I can assure you that I am hard to please (Julie can confirm), I was amazed, overwhelmed and humbled by Julie's talents. I know what it takes to pull off an event from behind the scenes and Julie didn't just pull it off, she launched it into a place that we could not have imagined. A wedding coordinator's role is priceless, and our biggest fear is that we will never be able to adequately thank Julie enough for what she provided to us, but we will sure try! To all future brides, hire her now! (before someone else does!!)

I will fully admit that I was one of those brides that was unsure if I needed a wedding coordinator. Even after my sister got married and swore by using a wedding coordinator. I was a fool. Other than the groom and the officiant Julie Shreck and her team at Simply You was the most important person to have at my wedding. Julie's organization and attention to detail is second to none. Especially for those of you planning a Key West destination wedding you will lean on Simply You more than you even initiially think. Without Julie I wouldn't have known that the weekend I got married was one of the busiest weekends of the year for Key West and I wouldn't have sent information to all my guests in time to make sure they could all find suitable hotel rooms. Without Julie I would have spent time during my wedding answering vendor questions, fixing a photo booth, and worrying about wether or not all the wedding cards were safe or not. If you have to rob and steal from other areas of your wedding get Julie Shreck. Now that I think about it she might actually be more important than the groom.....Thank you Julie and Simply You team not only for helping me create the perfect day but being there for all the little stuff so I could truly enjoy every second of it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE (CAN'T WRITE IT ENOUGH) Julie and her staff at Simply You. She made planning the wedding so much fun and so easy. I had no interest in the bulk of the planning process and she got me excited about it all. They are as sweet and as fun as can be. My husband and I would look forward to going down to Key West just to hang out with them. The wedding itself was seamless and she made the everything stress free and who gets to say that about a wedding!

Julie and her team were absolutely the right choice!!!!!!!!! Awesome suggestions for caterers, photographers, florist, musicians, etc... The list goes on and on but they did EVERYTHING right and were so amazing with our Plan Bs which we absolutely needed! It was the most amazing weekend of our lives honestly thanks to Simply You. We used Julie for day of coordination and were very glad that we did. We wanted a wedding coordinator so that on the wedding day we could be stress freee, and Julie allowed us to be just that. Julie is well-connected in Key West, and was even able to get us a few discounts and extra services with other vendors (for example- free chair set-up for our ceremony).

Since Julie does do so many weddings she has a set idea of how things should run. While most of the time this is helpful, there were a few instances where this meant she wasn't as flexible as we'd have liked. Though in the end she always deferred to our request, sometimes it felt like we had to do a bit of convncing. For example- we had a certain lineup for the bridesmaids and groomsmen in mind, and she initially told me it wouldn't work.

If you're looking for someone to minimize stress on your day, Julie is definitely a great choice. She also seems to be a great choice for a bride who needs some ideas and more guidance.

We found Simply You on line and weren't sure what to expect. THey have a great website, but not knowing anyone who had used them was hard.

We worked with Erica. She was OUTSTANDING! She lined up the vendors for me to choose from. She took care of every detail and was amazingly professional.

Thank goodness for Julie at Simply You. If you are having a wedding in Key West, Julie is a must. She made sure we went with credible vendors and was extremely responsive – she answered all emails within minutes. I did most of my planning early in the morning and late in the evening and still she was very responsive. Since the day of the wedding was so surreal – I can’t imagine having had to worry about all the small details. Not only was she totally in control and organized, but she was very calming the day of. Our last interaction with her just says it all – she was saying her goodbyes and handed my husband our room key. My husband and I looked at each other because neither one of us had one on us. I can not say enough about Julie Shreck and Simply You Weddings. Deciding a few months before my destination wedding in Key West that I could not plan my wedding on my own, Julie jumped in and got me right on track. The vendors she suggested were fantastic. Julie's professionalism and calm nature are pricess! She truly is a master when it comes to wedding coordinator/planner. Our wedding was a huge success which still has us smiling and we owe it all to Julie!

Julie is wonderful! Everything I forgot she remembered on the day of the wedding. Trust me, no matter how well you think you have prepared and organized when it comes to the day of the wedding you will want to enjoy your time and not worry about the details. From tying beautiful bows on my chairs, helping me decide where to save and splurge and keeping the entire day on track so everything I wanted was incorporated Julie is fantastic. You don't have to worry about being pushed by her to spend more but she also lets you know all available options. Best of all she is down-to-earth and easy to talk to unlike many vendors you will come across in the wedding industry. Go for Julie if you want to know everything will be taken care of on one of the most important days of your life!

Julie at Simply You was absolutely fantastic! She was able to take our likes and dislikes and create a day that was better than anything I could possibly imagine. She was very accessible for all of our questions along the way, from more than a year before the wedding and even after! Julie is a wealth of information on Key West and made sure that our entire stay, not just the wedding day, was wonderful. She was present the day of the wedding to make sure everyone and everything was in place. I don't think I could have done it without her!

I had two wishes for my wedding day - a destination wedding and have someone tell me what time to show up. Since we live far from Key West and I am so not interested in the details, I was looking for a wedding planner to help with the planning and also provide day of services. I thought the service Simply You provided was fantastic. Julie called when she said she would, she treated us as if we were her only clients and she kept us within our budget. In addition to planning the actual wedding day, she secured hotel accommodations for us and our guests, planned the welcome reception and helped organize a fishing trip for my husband and his friends. She also met with us a few months before the wedding so we could do a walk-through of the wedding day and meet some of the vendors we had chosen.

Having Simply You plan our wedding and having Julie present the day of our wedding was definitely money well spent. I would never recommend planning a wedding without a planner and I would certainly recommend Simply You for any wedding or event. I can honestly say that I went through this entire planning process for a year and a half and did not feel stressed, worried or frazzled because I completely and wholeheartedly trusted Julie and Simply You.

The photographer, caterer, DJ, steel drum player, florist, hair and make-up artist and all the other vendors that we chose based on Simply You’s recommendations were excellent as well. I felt comfortable choosing any vendor that Simply You recommended.

One word to describe the services of Julie and Simply You Weddings: PRICELESS. We met Julie once before our wedding a few months out; she gave us great ideas and answered every question we could think of. As the big day approached, Julie took all the arrangements into her hands, and made all of the vendor contacts on our behalf. She contacted us several times to make sure we had everything we needed, and she was never hard to get in touch with. On the day of the wedding day Julie’s services were again, priceless. She was amazing at making sure that everything went according to plan, coordinating vendors and guests, and really just took the stress off of us. There were some minor, last-minute emergencies the week before the wedding, and she was with us every step of the way – she happily handled everything with a “don’t worry about it!” attitude and a reassuring smile. Her presence alone made me feel so much better about everything! Even on the day of, there were some changes to the schedule, and Julie made EVERYTHING transition seamlessly. She is a true professional – certainly one of the best investments we made for the wedding!

We had Julie do our day-of coordinating, and we also worked with her for a few hours on a planning trip we made to Key West (to meet with vendors, etc.) (and we exchanged hundreds of emails during the 6+ months we were planning the wedding!) I honestly don't know what we would have done without her there to hold our hands before the wedding, and we know we couldn't have pulled everything off without her on the day-of. Julie is the epitome of professionalism and class - she comforted me throughout the process and was responsive and knowledgable about everything. We actually had another planner when we first decided on Key West as a location - luckily after a month we were able to get out of our contract with them (they were useless)! and after A LOT of research and discussion, we decided to go with Simply You. It was definitely the smartest decision we made. We love Julie and would highly recommend her to anyone - particularly any type-a's out there like me, who cringe at the thought of relinquishing control or decision making to someone else! I knew I wanted to be able to sit back and relax and be stress-free on my wedding day though - and I wouldn't have been able to without having 100% trust in Julie.

Soon after My Husband and I decided on Key West as our wedding destination I was introduced to Julie Shreck and Simply You. I had heard wonderful things about her and loved pictures that I saw of her work.
After my first phone conversation with Julie I was put at ease and any anxiety I had about planning our wedding was gone. Because of Julie and Simply You I enjoyed every minute of this process. Julie took care of everything, kept me on a schedule and was very professional and caring of my needs and wants.
