My husband and I met with Kevin three times before our wedding and have grown to know him personally. Kevin has a very professional demeanor and takes pride in his work. He treats each event as though it's is own! Kevin is detail oriented and literally bent over backwards to accommodate our needs as well as the needs of our guests. He was the perfect MC and entertainer and was optimistic and determined to announce everyone's Armenian/Polish name correctly. He kept the dance floor going at all times (literally, people did not sit down)!!!

We had a great experience with Kevin from Simply Sound!
Story goes like this…I had to fire DJ I had booked due him being un-professional and it was only a few months before my wedding…a friend of mine was getting married so I frantically asked her if she would recommend her DJ, and she did, she gave me all the info. The next week, we had set an appt to meet with Kevin. Within seconds of meeting him, we knew that not only we would have a friend forever, but that was going to be our DJ. I think we ended leaving that appointment 3 hours later! He was funny, smart and knew his dj stuff! And most important, he was professional. Which was something the other DJ seriously lacked. We knew we would need to find someone who would respect us as a client, and we got that and MORE from Kevin.
He did our ceremony music, reception music as well as up lighting for the entire reception room. The room was beautifully lit up in my color and the music was great. He played everything we wanted.

If you want the best DJ in the Chicago-land area- Simply Sound is it. My husband and I were so grateful to have them DJ our wedding and ceremony. There were absolutely no problems and everything will be they way you want it to be..its your wedding- not a night club and they know that. We believe we couldn't have found better and think every penny was a penny extremely well spent.

Kevin was the Dj that we selected from Simply Sound to come out and do our event. He was outstanding! He showed up on time and was ready to roll at the first sight of incoming guests. He orchestrated the flow of my entire reception! He made announcements to make sure everyone was aware of what was going on and actually walked up to us (bride and groom) to let us know what was about to transpire next so that we weren't thrown off by his announcements. His music selection was great! he kept the crowd entertained from dinner music to when the party started on the dance floor. He went well with the last minute changes and rolled with the punches like it was what had been planned from the start! He was an excellent choice, a choice i will never regret. Simply sound was the way to go! He provided my cocktail napkins at a great cost, my custom name in lights service and even threw in the extremely wanted, yet budget breaking glow necklaces, mardi gras beads and other fun items at no cost just to keep my bride happy! Kevin is a great man and he gets 2 thumbs up at the end of my day! YOU ROCK!.... by the way kevin is also the owner.

Simply Sound did a wonderful job with our wedding. They provided so many services that we were looking for at an affordable price. The photographer and videographer were very unobtrusive. Pictures were done quickly so we could still enjoy our night. Jim the dj did a wonderful job with the music as well as entertaining the guests. He even sang a few songs to add a little something special to our wedding. It was unbelievable. i would strongly recommend Simply Sound to anyone getting married.
