Simply Cakes is great! I got married 3 wks ago and I received tons of compliments on the look of my cake and the taste. When I met with Robin she taught me a lot...what to ask other vendors, how to choose the right color for icing, etc. I also like that her pricing was straight to the point, no hidden fees. I went to a few other places and depending on the design the price would go up. She has great designs and the champagne cake is awesome. She takes pride in her cakes and really cares about making your day special. I also loved the fact that she bakes your cake the day before your wedding. Everyone could taste the freshness. Also she doesn't book too many wedding that way she makes sure she makes a great cake for youe wedding. When it comes to wedding cakes you get what you pay for. I went to different vendors and she had the best product and service, so I spent a little more than I wanted to but it was totally worth it. My husband and I love cake so wanted a great cake for our wedding day and Robin delivered.

Robin is simply the best!! Her cakes are so amazing. I brought in a picture and she said that she could make it; when I saw it the day of the wedding I was so amazed! It looked exactly like the picture, only better! She does such a great job, and is very affordable. Before I went to Simply Cakes I viewed other cake baker websites and was shocked by the price difference between Simply Cakes and other bakers. Her cakes are better in value, look, and taste! Our wedding cake was so tasty; everyone at our reception talked about how great it was! I would recommend Simply Cakes to anyone. Thanks so much Robin!

We got married on September 20, 2009, and we used Simply Cakes for our wedding cake. The cake was beautiful and added a romantic look to our wedding. It tasted awsome. The cake was simply gorgeous. Robin is very friendly and easy to work with. She takes you to the process very simply, and she provides good solutions to the complications of picking a wedding cake. We highly recommend using Simply Cakes if you want to get a beautiful cake with a very reasonable price for your wedding.

I would like to say that my wedding cake really was the centerpoint of my wedding. It made everything else that much greater. Robyn at Simply Cakes is so awesome. She is very professional and was able to answer all of my questions promptly. She really understands what brides need and want. She gives tips that I think most brides dont even think about. Her expertise helps make decission making a breeze. I would recommend her for any cakes, wedding, birthday or any occasion. The greastest part about the cake is the taste. People weeks later were telling me how great the cake looked and taste. Even my Husband was pleased and he is hard to convince. Overall Robin helped make all my dreams come true. Thank you Robin

I loved our cakes. They were beautiful. The grooms cake were adorned with country/cowboy decorations. Our cake was 3 tiered with pretty scroll work in white icing. Our initial meeting was very short (mostly because I had exactly what I wanted in mind), but my decision was a little bit tougher after seeing their samples and pictures from other weddings. She knew exactly what we wanted and it was better than I imagined. They were prompt in delivery and quick in set up. The guests loved the cake. We barely had any cake left over! They are very reasonabley priced-especially compared to other vendors. We are very happy with the decision to use Simply Cakes in our wedding. We would recommend Simply Cakes to anyone (especially those with tighter budgets). I would definitely use Simply Cakes again.

I used Simply Cakes for my wedding because they had the best tasting cakes and frostings. I chose the champagne flavored cake for our wedding cake and chocolate on chocolate for the grooms cake. I was happy with the brides cake, but the decorations on the grooms cake where not what I hoped for. Luckily we had other things to help decorate it with at the reception. The bakery also made my cake topper, which was exactly what I wanted.

I recently got married on 4.18.09 and Robin made our wedding cake and groom's cake. Simply Cakes was about the 5th wedding cake bakery we visited because I wanted a white square 4 tiered wedding cake made out of buttercream not fondant with ribbon and flowers. Sounds pretty simple, right? Everyone kept telling me that you can't get the frosting smooth enough unless it is fondant, and I didn't want fondant because it doesn't taste very good. Well, I took the picture to Robin and she said, "yeah piece of cake!" (No pun intended.) I was so thankful that I didn't have to change my dream wedding cake, and on top of that she layered the cake with white chocolate and red velvet because I couldn't decide which one I wanted!! Her cakes are extremely reasonable and they taste as good as they look.
She also baked my little brother's graduation cake which looked amazing!! It was 2 graduation caps layered on top of each other and it tasted great! Go to Simply Cakes!!! You will not be dissapointed!!

They were fast... from ordering to recieving the cake was 48 hours...that just can't be beat!
Cake was delicious just as we wanted it.
We asked for something out of the ordinary...a white cake with mocha, whipped cream frosting ..... there was no problem creating or del. the cake.
Robin is just as nice in person as she was on the phone and on the internet..
We highly recommend her services.

I highly recommend ordering your wedding cake from Simply Cakes. My cake was exactly what I wanted and what I ordered. All of my guests commented about how pretty it was and how great it tasted. I have been to a lot of bakeries over the years with friends who were getting married and then in search of a place to order my own cake, and Simply Cakes is a cut above the rest! They are always professional and friendly. They take as much time as you need to discuss all the details and all of your ideas. And, they are able to create the cake that you have pictured in your mind no matter what it is. They are the real deal. Other bakeries have photos of fancy wedding cakes but in the end they are not able to come through with complicated designs using fondant, etc. but at Simply Cakes they are experts. You don't even need an appointment to talk to the owner. My cake was delivered exactly on time at the reception site. And, the price was very reasonable. Very. You won't find cakes this gorgeous for less anywhere.

I have only lived in the metroplex for just over a year, so had no idea where to look for a great wedding cake. I surfed the internet for bakeries in the DFW area and it seemed like this was a very professional bakery with a personal touch.
I walked in to Simply Cakes on a SUNDAY, which means I didn't have to take off work. This was a day they had cake testing going on. After talking with Robin (the owner), tasting the different cakes/icing and looking at photos - I made a deposit and left very excited. I told her exactly what I wanted and she assisted me with some of the decision making when asked. The whole process was short and simple, because I knew what I wanted and she assured me she would deliver.
The cake was delivered by Robin to the Church the morning of the wedding. It was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen and was EXACTLY, to the smallest detail, what we had discussed. Everyone at the reception not only commented on how beautiful it was, but also how moist and delicious the cake was. It truly was one of the best cakes I have ever tasted.
With so much stress about details in planning a wedding, Robin at Simply Cakes made this such a great experience. I can't thank her enough!

We had a large wedding with about 400 guests. The entire day was amazing, but one specific aspect that we'll always remember is our wedding cake. We have received so many compliments on how gorgeous it was!
Robin, the shop owner, created a unique cake for us that was exactly what we had hoped for... but even better because she was creative enough to make our vague idea into a beautiful masterpiece! After looking at many pictures of other cakes, Robin listened to what we liked best about a few different designs and incorporated them into a cake that perfectly fit our style and the ambience of our wedding. Robin even artisticaly arranged some of the leftover flowers from our decorations around the base of the cake, enhancing the entire display table!
I highly recommend Simply Cakes to anyone who is looking to have the cake for their event become a focal point of conversation for the raves that will follow their celebration!
