Lori with Simply Cakes was terrific to work with. She was very professional and and responsive to our wishes and design ideas. The cake was beautiful and turned out just as we had hoped. She was able to match the colors we requested perfectly. The cake was delicious and we received many compliments from our guests. I especially love the idea of the anniversary cake she provides on the couple's 1st anniversary. Thank you Lori!

Lorie is awesome. She is so friendly and worked with us to help us decide what we really wanted for our cake - it ended up being filled cupcakes!!! We were able to select different flavors and different fillings and she even helped us to come up with a method to identify what was what - different wrappers and icing colors. The cupcakes were great and the cutting cake was perfect!

I would highly recommend Simply Cakes to anyone considering them for a wedding or special occasion cake. They were totally professional in all aspects, the cake was absolutely beautiful, and was without a doubt the most delicious cake we have ever tasted. Our guests have been commenting to us ever since our wedding on how much they loved our cake.

Lorie at Simply Cakes was phenomenal! She responded to my many emails very quickly, answered all the questions I had, and made us the most delicious and gorgeous wedding cake ever! The cake was exactly what we had visioned in our heads. They delivered the cake in a timely and quick manner, placed flowers on the top of it, and I could see the pride that she took in her work. She has kept up communication with me even after the wedding has ended, providing me with additional answers to other questions I had.
I recommend Lorie! Her prices were affordable, she was willing to work with a budget, and the end result was more than we could have hoped for!

Lorie is a God-send. Her story as to how she got into the business is inspiring. Her work is top-notch and she has a real talent for capturing her client's vision. She is also VERY creative and I would recommend only having a general idea of what you want your cake to be, because she has a way of using her creativity to make your cake the most unique cake you will ever see. She is courteous and her prices cannot be beat. She is very flexible with flavors, so your options are virtually endless. If you've chosen to interview Lorie as your cake vendor, look no further...you've found the perfect cake and the perfect person to make it for you!

My husband and I met with Lorie twice and both times left very satisfied with our decision. She far exceeded my cake idea. I, along with all my guests absolutely LOVED the cake. The taste was out of this world. I still have people asking me who did our cake. All I had to do was tell Lorie my idea and she produced it and delivered it to my reception location. I recommend Simply Cakes for ANY occasion.

Lorie was professional, responsive and provided great choices at reasonable prices. We did a combination of cupcakes and a two-tiered cake for the wedding party. The cupcakes were part of our centerpieces and the wedding cake was put together using fabric and wire toppers provided by my friends and family. It looked great by the time Lorie was done with it. Kudos!

Lorie was great to work with and a lot of fun. She was able to squeeze us in for a last minute tasting, and we booked her a just month before the wedding when our previous plan fell through. She came through with flying colors!! The cake was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't have dreamt of anything better! And the taste...DELICIOUS! The guests devoured nearly the entire cake!! I've had serveral people tell me it's the best wedding cake they've ever eaten! You should try one of her newest combinations called "Frank's Favorite"...red velvet w/ strawberry mousse & cream cheese filling. It was our smallest layer, but based on guest reaction, perhaps it should've been our largest! As you can tell, I HIGHLY recommend Lorie/Simply Cakes!!!

Everything was great. I was amazed that even tho my father had already done a cake testing for me while I was out of town, Lorie was able to allow me one when I got in town! That way I was able to sample all of the flavors picked out for my wedding. The guests loved the cake! I thought so much would be left over, but the next day only a fraction was left. The cake looked lovely and Lorie was a wonderful person to work with. If I had the chance to re-do it, I wouldn't change a thing!
