  I had the pleasure to meet the owners of Sheekar Delights Diane and Tony during a business fair in Chicago during 2013. That time I ate a sample of walnut baklava. Actually, was the first time I had it. The flavor, the moist and the texture were great and from there I couldn’t be without it as a dessert once a while. In October of 2014 I got married and as I’m from Brazil and my husband has an Assyrian background we decided to have a mix of both culture on our sweet table and the baklava from Sheekar Delights was our first choice. We couldn’t go wrong as our guests loved it. After the wedding we got so many complements from friends about our dessert table and asking us where the baklava came from. It made us even happier that we made the right decision. I strongly recommend the company and I’m pretty sure they will go above and beyond your expectations.

  The baklava made by Sheekar Delights was delicious! A group of friends that hosted my bridal shower had ordered baklava as a dessert and as favors. Needless to say the baklava was the one dessert that was completely gone (you would think a bunch of vultures came out)! The presentation of the platter was beautiful, it was wrapped so nicely and the diamond shaped pieces were placed on the platter in a pretty spiral design.
  
  As for the favors, they were boxed in beautiful gold boxes that were decorated to match the theme and colors of my wedding! I was so impressed with the taste and presentation of the baklava that I ordered 2 platters for my cousin’s bridal shower. Everyone at her shower couldn’t get over how delicious the baklava was and I can’t begin to count the number of guests that said it was the best baklava they had ever had!
  
  Working with Diane, the owner, was a delight. She was professional, accommodating and easy to work with. All I can say is that if you are looking for a crowd pleasing dessert or a favor for a special event, you can’t go wrong with Sheekar Delights' baklava!
