  Amazing service

  Shear Fashion Salon was amazing to work with. They were so detailed to how clean they kept work spaces and products for the girls. I’ve seen a lot of hair and makeup vendors just reuse tools but not these ladies! And in a pandemic world it’s nice to know that they are taking every care to keep clients safe

  Best Hair & Makeup Duo!

  These ladies were professional, kind, and very efficient with their time! They arrived to the venue with all their tools ready and everything was separated per bridesmaid for sanitary purposes. Both were friendly to chat but didnt lose track of time and kept things moving. I would highly recommend them both for any event!

  So personable, professional, and creative!

  Shear Fashion Salon, Mom & Daughter duo has been an amazing part of my journey! They did my hair for my wedding (gorgeous) as well as the hair for all my bridesmaids and Moms, and then did my hair, makeup, and nails for my maternity session! I got exactly what I wanted and then more. They are so clean with COVID and take their precautions seriously and make things so personable. I had such an amazing experience that will last a lifetime!

  The best group of ladies!

  The best! Such sweet women who did an amazing job and all of our hair and makeup. The bridal party was large and they did everyone in a timely manner and each person looked so beautiful and uniform! 10/10 💜

  Phoebe and Rochelle are great! I didn't know what I wanted for makeup because I'm not much of a makeup person-but they did! I'm beyond happy for getting my hair and makeup done by them for my wedding!

  I waited until the last minute to book my hair & makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom. Fortunately, I found Rochelle (and her daughter Phoebe!) Even though she was on her way back from a wedding in Hawaii, Rochelle got back to me right away to get my trial booked and figure out the details for my wedding day. I didn't think I would have enough time to fit my trial in before the wedding, but she insisted and I'm so glad we did so that we could get everything exactly the way I wanted! On the wedding day they showed up early, were very professional and organized, and got everyone done beautifully and on time. Not to mention their prices are quite reasonable and they are lovely human beings! Even though I wouldn't recommend procrastinating like I did, I'm so glad that Shear Fashion Salon ended up doing the hair & makeup for my wedding!

  Rochelle and Phoebe at Shear Fashion are hands down the BEST artists I have worked with in years, particularly in California. I say artists for a reason - this mother/daughter combo are creative, have exquisite attention to detail, and work well with each other to make sure you and your bridal party feel your absolute best.
  
  Going into my big day, I met with Phoebe and Rochelle to discuss ideas for hair and make-up. I had a vague thought of doing something old Hollywood inspired. Even though I wasn't crystal clear on what I wanted, Phoebe and Rochelle went with it to design the perfect, glamorous vintage Hollywood look and feel with my hair and make-up (including a killer red lip that looked immaculate in pictures).
  
  On the day of the wedding, Phoebe and Rochelle were on-time, extremely professional, and made everyone feel their best. From my mother, who wanted big hair and extreme make-up, to my new mother-in-law, who wanted light make-up and easy, breezy hair, Phoebe and Rochelle were able to satisfy everyone and manage to get us out the door in time for pictures. They are wonderful and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
  
  P.S. - they are also KILLER nail artists. If you want to feel special and sparkly on your hands and your feet, go visit their salon in San Jose for pre-wedding fun! I have never had so many compliments on a pedicure in my life.

  Rochelle and Phoebe at Shear Fashion Salon did a fantastic job on hair and makeup for me and my wedding party on 5/25/13! They arrived at my hotel room (where we were all getting ready) on time and fully prepared. Everything went so smoothly and everyone looked fabulous. I don't consider myself a photogenic person, but the makeup really made a difference and stood out beautifully in all of the pictures from the day (Yay! I finally have good pictures of myself!). My hair held up all day as well as my makeup. I didn't need any retouching, which was a relief:) I didn't want to be fussing in a bathroom with makeup while I wanted to be with guests. Rochelle gave me complimentary touch-up lipstick just in case, but I didn't need it. I can't recommend Shear Fashion enough!
  
  I also had Michelle Ng from Michelle Nicole Photography as my photographer. She was with us for a 12-hour day and she was everywhere taking the best shots and making sure we got all of the important moments and then some . . . Michelle and Shear Fashion Salon work with each other often on shoots, so I highly recommend getting them as a team!

  Rochelle and her team were fantastic, both on the day of my wedding and at the trial. We had bridesmaids and my mom traveling internationally to the wedding so there was no time for Rochelle to meet with them and trial the hair and makeup before the big day. Despite getting a range of requests on style and a real mix of hair types and lengths, Rochelle and her team made all of the bridesmaids and my mom look chic and polished for the big day while still reflecting their individual tastes and personalities.
  
  For bridal hair and makeup I couldn't have asked for a better team. On the day of the trial Rochelle and her daughter both made helpful suggestions and worked with my requests and suggestions in designing the look for my wedding. I left the trial very happy and convinced I had found the right hair and makeup artist.

Between the trial and the day of the wedding, Rochelle had continued to think about what I would need and had packed additional products that she knew would help complete the look I had requested. My hair and makeup lasted through tears, what felt like gale force wind (outside photos!!) and hours of dancing.

  Rochelle, the hairstylist for Shear Fashion Salon, was wonderful. I loved how my hair and makeup looked after my trial, but unfortunately the hair started unraveling shortly after I left her salon. This made me feel very nervous, and I contacted Rochelle to discuss my concerns. She assured me that my hair would stay intact for the duration of my wedding, even after heavy dancing. She was right! She brought another hairstylist on the day of my wedding to ensure that the two of them could make my hair stay intact. It is obvious that she takes her job very seriously and cares a lot about customer concerns. Also, a week before my wedding, I asked her if she could change the look of my makeup from heavy to more natural. She was very accommodating and flexible, which I appreciated. I would highly recommend Shear Fashion Salon for your hair and makeup needs on your special day!
