This venue is beautiful! My husband and I had our wedding at Shasta Weddings and it was awesome! From the moment we contacted the owners John and Beth, they went above and beyond to make our day an unforgettable day.
The cute hand-built, rustic style cabins on the property, were plenty enough to accommodate our large party. We also had the option to park an rv and pitch a couple tents. With several local swimming holes nearby, more than enough room/area to utilize, cooler climate, and the stunning views just can't be beat.
Great venue, with a great staff that truly love what they do. Beth and John are awesome people, we will definitely be returning for many more life events and really to just say hi!

Pinegri-La is a beautiful mountain top wedding venue that is breathtaking beyond words. It is located in the town of Castella, California, 15 miles south of Mount Shatsa, just off of I-5. The venue consists of rustic cabins many with outdoor or indoor showers and bathrooms. The cabins with no bathrooms are nice too with facilities nearby. There is a camping area as well. Pinegri-La does its own catering and the food is great, not gourmet, but more like food that you would cook yourself. Friday night there is a BBQ with s'ores, saturday breakfast, and lunch. Saturday for the reception dinner we chose the meat lasagna option but there is plenty of other meals choices and they will work with you. Beth, John & Jennifer were the people we had contact with but they have a full staff that are friendly and make you feel like you belong there. Any questions I had were answered within a day or so, and any problems that arose during our time there I was not even aware of, they took care of everything. The site is beyond words, Redwoods, evergreens, green lawns, mountains, rivers, and wildflowers are your surroundings, and the price is right! The only reason I gave them 4/5 stars under professionalism is because I found their website to be poor and somewhat confusing. What their website lacks in clarity is more than made up for in their staff's thouroughness, caring, and love of what they do. I didn't worry about anything getting taken care of. I could go on for a much longer time about how much I enjoyed my wedding there, but you'll just have to see for yourself.

Shasta Weddings is a truly beautiful and unique location that makes for a fairy tale wedding. The owners allow you to run the show anyway that you want and use the grounds however you wish. The weekend wedding type setup allows guests and you to enjoy the space for a few days. Full catering is included and the price is much less than most single evening events.
The owners are extremely flexible and kind. My only recommendation is to make sure to be very organized, also make sure to go over your contact carefully because you will probably want a few of the extras and will want to have all those costs nailed down in advance.

As a wedding guest, we paid $150/night to share a small cabin, one toliet and sink with 9 other people. We didn't have any private space, dresser, or even mirror because we were upstairs. Our bed was surrounded by dead flies and dust. I was beyond grossed out and disgusted. The professionalism was lacking, as the owners struggled to tell us anything about our accommodations or even properly use Square for payment. Beautiful location, mediocre food, and INSANELY OVERPRICED. I would never ever make my wedding guests stay in this type of place (much less pay around $300 to suffer).
