We used the Savvi Formal Wear in St. Louis, MO at the South County Center. They took care of our tuxes and invitations. They were excellent with both. Jodie and Alveeta did an excellent job communicating with me about who still needed to go get fitted as well as answering any questions I had about anything. I would highly recommend this company.

I am honestly amazed that people are giving Savvi good reviews. I don't usually review anything (though I did come here to give our photographer a great review), but I have been telling everyone I know how unprofessional and disrespectful Savvi was to me. The way the manager of the Lawrence location treated me was worse than any business I have dealt with.

The tux rental process was fine up until the wedding day. Had I not had to deal with the manager, I might write a different review, but that unfortunately is not the case.

My lovely husband did not read their return-by-____ or-suffer-a-fee policy. I was frustrated with him, but it was clearly listed when we went to return his tux a few days after the wedding, thus I was not upset with Savvi at that time.

I called back the next day to talk with the manager about the fee that we incurred hoping that she would allow some flexibility since I was not a part of the original transaction. I figured it was a shot in the dark, but thought I would just see if they had any circumstantial flexibility.

My polite questions about the policy were rudely interrupted several times, so I finally asked if we could please just talk about it calmly (which, by the way, a customer should never have to ask a business associate). She then proceeded to argue with me in a hostile manner about how she has a business to run and cannot make exceptions for our irresponsibility. I agreed with her but by then was incredibly surprised and livid with the manner by which she was dealing with my questions.

As a nurse, I commonly work with disgruntled patients and families and have learned to handle it well. I asked her several times why she was yelling at me and being disrespectful and she continued with verbal sewage about her business practices. Eventually, I was so upset that I finally told her that I was calling her manager and we ended our conversation.

The next week, I finally (after several tries) got a hold of her manager in Topeka who asked if he could call me back because he was currently dealing with his grandfather's death. I told him that was fine, of course, and that I would await his call.

That was in October and I have yet to hear from him.

All-in-all, if Savvi has treated you better then that is very lucky of you. I am going to continue to warn everyone I can about our experience with the manager. We are all for supporting local businesses, but please do yourself a favor and shop in KC for your tux services because Savvi is not local anyway! Good luck!

We were very unhappy with Savvi. We used the local Manhattan, KS store. When I first paid a deposit and locked in our price they were still Randall's. During the time between then and my wedding. They relocated out of the mall to their new location and bought out. Since the relocation their hours are very difficult. They are only open until 6 during the week, limited hours on the Saturday and closed on Sunday. The staff was very young and unknowledgable about their job. We received different answers everytime we went into the store. Everytime we went in all of our information was changed and wrong. They converted our Randall choices to Savvi and did not contact us and told us everything was the same and they weren't. A few people try to submit online and their measurements got misplaced between the Topeka store that handles the online and Manhattan. It was weeks before the measurements were given to the Manhattan store. I was informed 4 weeks before my wedding that the store may not be able to get one of my vest color choices. We were told that the tuxes would be ready on Friday before the wedding and they weren't. Our bridal party was able to go in and try on but the shoes weren't right so they weren't able to take them with them. Many of the items were incorrect. On Saturday when they went to pick everything up they forgot to switch the wrong coats with the right ones. One of our groosmen lost a button minutes befor the ceremony and wasn't doing anything unusual. one groomsmen had to make a last minute run to the store to get the correct coat. The shoes were very uncomfortable! The groom and many others had an allergic reaction to the tuxes. It took my husband several days to recover. For the cost and size of our bridal party we were not happy.

Our expierence was horrible. Not all of the tuxes arrived at the right store for us to try on. Then my guys ended up spending several hours there trying everything on and waiting for help. We had to send people back on friday to pick up items that they had to re-order for us because the had wrong sizes. (I thought that was why they were measured!) Then an hour before the wedding, we find out they left ties and cufflinks out of some of the bags. The only good thing I have to say is, I had to talk to the district and regional managers and they were both great. Very courteous and helpful, if only their store managers and employees could be too.

We bought our invitaions from Savvi at a discounted price since we also rented our tuxes from them.

Some of the guys in my wedding party were really tall and they were very nice about helping us find suits that were in our budget but were still flattering on them. They even had to special order shoes to fit my husband's size 16 foot. They were great.

The tuxedos did not arrive until 1 hour before the wedding. They did deliver the tuxedos for us but that was because the groomsmen were getting ready to take pics in their jeans ad tshirts. I will never use them again.
