Honestly, if I could give higher than a 5 I would. Marisa is AMAZING! When I got engaged I knew there was no other photographer I wanted at my wedding. She had photographed several friends weddings prior and I absolutely loved working with her as a bridesmaids. As a bride I love her even more! She's easy going and fun, she's sassy, and she can keep a stressed out bride smiling no matter what goes down in the hours before the wedding (trust me, on this one especially!). She is hands down THE BEST!!!!

I can tell you right now, this little text box will NEVER have enough characters for me to fit in words just how absolutely PHENOMENAL Sassy Mouth Photography is. Seriously. Not only is Marisa, one of the coolest people on the planet ( when meeting her for the first time in the sassy space, we probably could have talked for the entire day, took a nap, and resumed in the morning) her photography is really epic art. She has a technique that makes her photos pure magic. Together with her partner in crime, and awesome fella, TJ, They tell the most beautiful story with laughter and passion, and each event is different. I just can't even tell you how smoothly things went because of her experience and professionalism, not to mention the laughs. No one can get you to smile the way she can, it's like having you're best friend in the whole world tell your love story with a sassy twist. I could go on for pages, but it all comes down to this- if you get the chance to work with her, BOOK HER.

My (now) husband and I spent a lot of time searching through reviews in order to find the top vendors. Finding the right photographer was extremely important to us because our wedding was anything but traditional and we had put a lot of work into the fine details which we really wanted showcased. My husband and I are also not so happy about having our picture taken so we wanted someone who wouldn't make it such an awkward thing. After reading some of Marisa's reviews, we knew we couldn't go wrong. Well she absolutely did not disappoint! From my constant e-mailing with questions and changes to adding the "Sassy Booth," Marisa was prompt with her replies and extremely helpful and informative. When I met Marisa for the first time on my wedding day while I was getting my makeup done, it was like I had known her for years. She was warm, friendly and hilarious and was instantly loved by everyone there. She really put us all at ease. Not only that but her husband was just as awesome and helpful and they both made the day so much better! We didn't have to come up with our own poses and after the few family pictures were taken, it was like she wasn't even there for the rest of it (well, taking pictures anyway… like I said, everyone loved her and wanted to be her friend). Now looking at sneak peaks, I CAN'T wait to see the final pics because her work is truly OUTSTANDING (but I already knew this from constantly obsessing over them before meeting her). Aside from the regular pics, we also used booked her "Sassy Booth" which turned out to be a HUGE hit!! So many people were talking about it the next day and her mom and brother who ran it also instantly became part of the family! I highly highly recommend Marisa and Sassy Mouth Photo

Marisa and TJ and absolutely AMAZING to work with. Marisa is crazy funny and makes everything seem so natural. My now husband is not good at pictures, and she made him feel so comfortable and he actually had fun with the pictures! They did a wonderful job of staying in the background at the ceremony but never missed a photo op. I can go on for hours about how wonderful, perfect, amazing, and truly sassy these two are! I would recommend them to absolutely anyone!

Marisa and TJ were AMAZING!! Our initial meeting with Marisa was awesome, her and my now husband hit it off and I knew we made a great decision. She helped me get in touch with Anna from Country Girl Collections and it was the best referral she could have ever made. Wow, I don't even know where to begin. My now husband and I could not of been happier with our choice in photographer for our big day! Marisa and TJ did such an amazing job. Marisa is so fun and you will feel like you have been friends with her for a lifetime after meeting her within the first few minutes. During the wedding and after seeing all the pictures our guests just kept commenting how great the photographers were and how amazing every photo came out. Not only were our pictures amazing, but they were great to have involved in the wedding and be part of our special day. We were unable to meet with Marisa prior to the wedding, due to our schedules and where we live compared to where we were getting married - so I was a little nervous about that but you would have thought we met for hours and had lengthy photo lists. Every moment was captured, and I do not think we could have asked for anything more.

Marisa is AMAZING! She has such a fun personality and makes everyone feel at ease while taking the most breath-taking photos. Any bride would be lucky to have her as her photographer.

Marisa at Sassy Mouth photograph is just the BEST! I think I researched and contacted every photographer in the state (and some in other states!), but once I found Marisa she was our clear choice. Her photos were not only beautiful, but they also seemed fun and unique. Her website and work were so different and she really stood out, so I knew I had to meet with her. At our initial meeting, she was so personable and easy to talk to. I had no hesitation in hiring her. She did our engagement photos a few months later and they were amazing. My husband, who hates how he looks in all photos, marveled at how great they came out. After that, we were SO excited for our wedding photos.

My wedding was less stressful because I trusted Marisa completely to capture our day. My mom and the rest of the wedding party fell in love with her because she is just so fun to be around. I have had multiple guests ask me for her contact info because they want to use her for family pictures or weddings. I have even heard from acquaintances who saw my wedding photos who went out of their way to tell me they were the most beautiful pictures they've seen and what I great photographer I had. I can't sing her praises enough. She is truly a gifted artist!

One final thing. I have a complicated family situation, and I had been dreading the formal family photos since before I got engaged. I just knew it would be awkward and tense and it was a big source of stress (telling people to get in some photos but out of others...). I talked to Marisa about it, she took the time to learn the details, and assured me it would be OK. On the day of, she took complete control and made the whole process go smoothly. Once I realized we had made it through those photos, I hugged her and thanked her for doing that for me. It might seem like a small thing, but those photos going smoothly meant so much to me and I totally credit her for it. She is just all-around awesome!

Marisa served as both my photographer and bridesmaid. I can't say enough compliments about Marisa, Tj, Chaz, and Sassy for the Day David Apuzzo. Marisa was a jack of all trades, she was able to act as bridesmaid while still directing the photos and flow of the day. She was able to get control of 9 very rowdy groomsmen and get them all to cooperate for pictures. Her and Tj were attentive to me and helped me with maneuvering with my dress. Tj and Chaz were true gentleman holding my hand down every hill and set of stairs I went down! Tj, especially, was there every time I needed a hand, I didn't even have to look and he was there by my side assisting me however I needed. They were the dynamic team, the pictures I have seen so far are pure genius! Marisa has always had an artistic eye and she is able to make art with her pictures while capturing the essence of the couple. She put me at ease which isn't easy to do as I'm a terrible picture taker and made me laugh while doing so! Her pictures are stellar and I know I will cherish them as I do her friendship for the rest of my life. She made a timeline for the day and was able to get all the pictures done quickly and efficiently. The photo booth was all props provided by her and Chaz manned it and the pictures were awesome and hilarious! I really can't say enough compliments about Marisa and her team! Any bride is lucky to have her to help make your day magic!

Marisa & TJ are FANTASTIC! After they did our engagement pics, we knew we were in for a treat on our wedding day but once we began seeing "sneak peeks" online and then got our discs we were completely blown away! What can I say beside for the obvious...?! Sassy Mouth Photography is FABULOUS!!! About a week before my wedding, I started to panic because I chose not to have a videographer. Even on my honeymoon, I was worrying because I couldn't remember certain parts of the day. That is until I got home and saw the PHENOMENAL photos taken by Marisa and TJ...they had captured every, single, amazing moment of our wedding day. The only "problem" I have is choosing which pictures to print out of the 1400+ photos that were taken that day!
