When you think of a wedding photographer...Sarah is THE perfect fit. She is kind, patient, creative, and modest. If you want someone who is loud, who steals the show, who tells you what to do and makes you look silly, or who does the same old picture backdrops with no artistic creativity...then she is not for you.
With all the chaos during the wedding day, Sarah seamlessly moved about my parents house while kids and sisters were running around..she even kept us on time letting us know the limo was arriving shortly. During pictures (before the ceremony), me and my bridesmaids were AN HOUR late and she just kept things moving by taking pics of the guys until we arrived. She wasnt annoyed at how late we were, but instead wisked us away to secret picture taking spots that i never thought existed. Awesome.
Sarah knows a good shot. You'll see her jumping over rails, going under fences and standing on tables to get the right angle. She was nothing but sweet the entire night. She got along perfectly with the wedding party and the kids. it couldn't have been more perfect. I wish i could do it all again just to have Sarah.

Sarah was a pleasure to work with and very professional. She has such a creative and artistic eye and her approach to wedding photography is uniquely her own. After having our engagement session with Sarah, you can see she actually cares about her work and the bride and grooms wants with their pictures.

Sarah was a joy to work with both before and on our wedding day. She was very flexible and had a lot of great ideas. Our pictures are gorgeous and we received them exactly when she said we would. She was highly recommended to me and I would highly recommend her to others! If you're in the Central New York area, book her - you won't regret it!

Without a doubt I would recommend Sarah to any bride (and Groom!) She was entirely professional and easy to work with. She has a great natural artistic eye that I feel gave us photos different than the norm--which was exactly what we were looking for. She was also so great that I hardly noticed her the entire night. I couldn't even tell you that she was at our ceremony until we got the pictures. She really made herself inconspicuous which was great because I'm not a "center-of-attention" kind of person and I was worried that I would be uncomfortable if I felt a camera was always in my face. Even during the more formal and posed shots she was very directive and helped to move my dress in ways that I wouldn't have otherwise thought of so it looked the best. She also was great at coming up with great places to take our photos, instead of just putting us against one plain background and taking everything all together at once. She even spotted a small patch of field at the very end of the parking lot where our reception was and asked us out there around sunset, which made for some of the best pics of the night (see her blog for an example). Overall we love all 1200+(!) of our photos! We enjoyed working with her- she was fun, she was easy to get along with and her work is genuine and wonderful.

We picked Sarah because a combination of the beautiful shots we saw on her website and the reasonable fee she charges. After meeting her, we realized that she was also a very professional and kind person to work with. During the wedding she was patient, and quick to capture all of our special moments. I received many compliments from my bridal party on her behalf, saying that whenever there was a perfect candid moment, she was right there! She is so enthusiastic about getting a great picture, and it makes you really enjoy the process. She was also very friendly with our family and friends, and everyone really liked her!

It has only been a few days, but she has shown us some of the pictures she took and they are beautiful. I am so proud to show them off! I am so glad I found someone as talented as her to be our photographer!

Sarah was amazing!!! She photographed our June wedding and she was delightful! Any specific shots we wanted were immediately set up, and she checked in with us to make sure we didn't miss any before she left for the evening. I've only seen a few sneak peeks so far, but I am blown away. I am so happy with our choice!

I have to say choosing Sarah as our photographer was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding, she was not only a professional but her final product was outstanding and stood part from the rest. I can only say that hiring Sarah as our photographer was one of our smartest wedding decisions. She is not only very artistically talented, but she is also customer service oriented and really works with you to create photos that capture the ambiance of the day. We would very highly recommend her!

We are extremely disappointed in this photographer. The initial meeting and presentation was excellent and we felt we made the right choice. After we paid the initial fee we did not hear from her until we contacted her about a month before the wedding. She reassured us she still had the wedding on her calendar and soon afterward she contacted us to make arrangements for the big day. She stayed all through the preparation, ceremony and reception and took lots and lots of pictures. However, after that we did not hear from her for several months, despite repeated emails and phone calls. The CDs of photos came 12 weeks after the wedding and we had to track her down again regarding the paid for albums that have yet to be delivered. While some of that lag time is our fault, most of it is her not doing her job timely. It is our feeling she took on more work than she can handle, and we are paying the price for it.

Although I am very pleased with the final images of my wedding, I have to strongly agree with a previous review regarding Sarah's responsiveness, or lack thereof. Getting the proofs for our wedding took well beyond what was outlined in the contract and required multiple emails and broken promises. After receiving the proofs, she thanked us for our business and left it at that. I had to remind her that we still had an album coming. It took seven months following the selection of images for the album to be finalized and delivered to us. As an apsiring photographer, I know that editing and putting together an album are very time consuming, but her long timelines are rather ridiculous. It does seem like she may have over-extended herself with work. Like I said, regardless of the long wait, we are very happy with the images.

Sarah was a blessing! Her work and her commitment to getting the shots we wanted was exceptional. Having worked with many photographers in the past, she is a natural. She has an eye for composition and a knack for going unnoticed. Great work from a talented professional! Check out her site to see examples of her work, she won't disappoint!

She is a very talented photographer and very professional. The wedding pics we received exceeded all of our expectation. She worked well with our ideas and had some ideas/suggestions of her own (btw, her suggestions yielded the BEST pictures!).

Without specific mention of $$, Sarah was very affordable and was very willing to work with our limited budget.
