  Dream Spanish/Classical Guitarist

  Ryan was amazing from the beginning of the wedding planning process to the end. His performance was incredible and I am beyond grateful I found him! Thank you so much Ryan!!

  Ryan played for three hours at our cocktail reception. His music provided a lovely ambience as guests were arriving, and several guests commented afterward how much they enjoyed his music. We also appreciated his accessibility over email and his willingness to meet with us before the event to discuss what we wanted.

  Ryan was such a great addition to our wedding ceremony! He was responsive and flexible in our music choices. He was accommodating to show up early, playing music while we were taking photos, and went the extra mile by playing a duet with a member of the wedding party on short notice. He is incredibly talented and complemented all of the music that we had for the evening. He is very creative and helpful with suggestions. Book him now!

  My husband and I hired Ryan to perform at our daughter’s wedding reception this past fall. We first heard Ryan perform at the Portland Airport while waiting for our plane, and were immediately attracted to his beautiful music. We approached him and he was gracious enough to take the time to talk with us and answer all our questions/concerns (and gave us a free CD so we could listen to his music in-depth). We were sold!! Ryan is a very gifted and talented artist. His repertoire is extensive and varied and includes many of the best known classical pieces, as well as some of his own beautiful compositions. Please consider hiring Ryan Walsh for your future events….we are so glad we did!

  Ryan played classical guitar for a fundraising event - he was on time, professional, and a great communicator. His music and talent set the ambiance for the event and we were able to raise more funds than ever before. I would highly recommend Ryan for any musical event.

  When we met Ryan had just returned from 6 years in Seville Spain where he studied with master guitar players, honed his skills and begun to write his own music. My event worked for him and so he agreed to come and played his Spanish guitar music in my "Studio Opening for Atelier NAN" for 1.5 hours for 50+
  guests. We all loved it!!!! I still play his sample CD from that first meeting!
  
  Ryan is not only an extremely talented musician, he is also very personable, professional and reliable.
  I have over these past two years recommended his music to many people. Since he played for my opening
  in 2013 I have watched his career blossom with performances, recordings and travel. In 2014 I attended his
  solo performance of traditional and original guitar music at The Old Historic White Church in downtown
  Portland, Or. (2 hours of very memorable playing).
  
  Most recently in Mar. 2015 I used one of his pieces in my new teaching video "Sumi-E techniques used in Oil Painting". His music can be heard in the second half of the video. Ryan very graciously supported my artistic
  work in this way. People who have viewed the video have asked about how to find and hear more of his music!

  Seriously, just hire Ryan for your wedding. His music is light and refreshing, so it doesn't distract from the main event. However, this isn't boring background music. When you stop to listen, you'll be totally drawn in by the speed, complexity, and intensity of his performance. By the end of our cocktail hour, there was an entire crowd just watching Ryan.
  
  We received so many compliments about his music. My father-in-law (that still sounds weird!?) studied classical guitar, and he said Ryan was one of the most talented guitarists he'd ever heard live. On top of that, Ryan was just a pleasure to work with. Clean, professional, and easygoing. He's getting pretty popular, too, so you'd be lucky to book him.

  Ryan was the perfect addition to our wedding day. His song selection was great, his playing flawless, and he was punctual and professional. We had him play as guests were being seated for the ceremony, and also to kick off our reception. Both were great successes.

  Ryan was a great fit for our event (an evening of wine tasting with around 150 people). His style was perfect and didn't overwhelm the space. We got so many compliments when we hired him last year that we had him back again this year. He didn't disappoint! He's an excellent musician, with an accommodating personality. Worth every penny.
