I cannot thank the ROUGE catering staff and Celeste enough for organizing everything and serving awesome food at our wedding!!!! Immediately after the tasting, we knew we were going to go with ROUGE because they had the best food, the most professional services and everyone was so nice. They were friendly and responsive throughout the entire planning process and meeting with Celeste a couple weeks before my wedding totally put me at ease. She had lots of suggestions but always kept my vision and priorities in mind, which I found extremely helpful. They were also so flexible with the clean up and made everything really seamless. All our guests LOVED the food, especially the hors d'oeuvres passed around during the cocktail hour. Our guests were asking us if they have a restaurant since out-of-town guests all wanted to eat more of those delicious crabcakes! The only hiccup we ran into was running out of bourbon/ scotch towards the end of the night but I know that my family and friends are all excessive drinkers and all prefer those particular liquors so it wasn't their fault. Everyone had such a great time and I can't thank them enough!

I can't possibly rave about Rouge Fine Catering enough. They were absolutely WONDERFUL to work with before, during, and after the wedding. My friends and family loved the food, and other vendors talked about how friendly and professional the bartenders and staff were. Heather is the possibly the best thing that happened to me during my wedding planning experience. She really understood what kind of wedding vision I had, and she provided fantastic ideas towards achieving that vision. I didn't originally think that Rouge would work for our budget, but they really worked with us. It turned out better than I could have ever hoped. I can't wait to have another party, so that I can work with Rouge again. You will not regret choosing this caterer!

We are so pleased we chose Rouge for our wedding. When we were deciding on caterers, we absolutely loved the food from Rouge (our wedding planner said the tasting was the best one she has ever had) but we thought they were out of our budget. Once we expressed these concerns, they were able to work with us to create a fantastic menu we could afford.

We started the night with a warm welcome cocktail to greet our guests as they came in from the cold, followed but a delicious cocktail hour with passed Hors d'ourves and an anitpasto display that our guests raved about. The selection of beets, artichokes, olives, meats, and spreads was delicious. The dinner consisted of a first course of a salad and crab soup shooter, that was so delightful I would eat it every day. The entree was duo of rockfish and short ribs, cooked to perfection. Rouge was very accomodating to the varied dietary restrictions of our guests, and was even able to bring in Kosher meals for two of our guests. The service was very attentive, and the event manager was out on the floor all night, helping out. The dessert display was an ice cream sundae bar and small tarts and cannoli. The ice cream was home made and a big hit. We even had midnight snacks (we were married on New Year's Eve). Overall, Rouge was fantastic!

I have worked with Rouge Catering for several years. They are wonderful! Great service and great food. I would definitely recommend them!

After our amazing first tasting with Rouge, we were certain that we were in good hands. The food just blew us away. We weren't easy customers either, since we asked for an entirely vegan menu. Rouge totally rose to the occasion. We wanted our wedding food to leave a lasting impression on our guests, and based on the compliments we've been getting for weeks, everyone was quite impressed. The food was to die for. The team at Rouge (Heather and Regina, especially) were a pleasure to work with and were so accommodating. The entire process went so smoothly, thanks to them. The food was not only delicious but also served in a very tasteful and aesthetically pleasing manner. We couldn't have been happier!

We knew we had a hard crowd to please, since our families include many food and wine snobs, but even the pickiest people couldn't stop gushing about how wonderful everthing was. Thank you, Rouge!

Regina and Emily at Rouge made our wedding a HUGE success!! The food is unbelievable- seriously, I still think about it everyday. Our guests were floored by the presentation, service and taste of our menu. We are still getting compliments on the food weeks after the wedding. These guys do it all and Regina went above and beyond to coordinate ALL parts of my wedding! I cannot say enough great things about these guys!

Amazing food...professional staff...best caterer ever! Everyone was raving about the food at our wedding. It's been a month since our wedding, and people are still talking about how good the food was!

From the very beginning, ROUGE exceeded our expectations. They provided us with a private menu tasting, which also included a tour of their facility, which was very impressive. The owner of the business spoke with us after our tasting to see how we liked everything and he let us know some more info about their business. He and their staff clearly take a lot of pride in their company.

Throughout the entire planning process, ROUGE was very responsive to our emails, phone calls, and text messages, which was a reflection of their dedication to their clients. Our catering director, Regina, was the best! She was fun, professional, and made sure the presentation of the food and decor she provided was in line with our wedding theme.

One of the best things about ROUGE (aside from the amazing food) is that you're not just getting a caterer, you're also getting a coordinator. We dropped off all of our table decorations to Regina ahead of time, and she set them up for us the day of the wedding. She was in contact with our other vendors (linens, cake, venue, etc) ahead of time to make sure everything went smoothly the day of our wedding. ROUGE didn't bother us during our wedding day with a bunch of annoying questions...actually I don't think bothered us with any questions. They knew what they needed to do, and their entire staff was capable of doing it. During the wedding, their staff made sure we had everything we needed (setting up a private cocktail hour for the wedding party, refilling our drinks during dinner, etc). At the end of the night, they boxed up extra food from the buffet and extra cake for us to take home. They also boxed up our decorations.

I could go on and on about how wonderful ROUGE was!

My wedding took place yesterday in Frederick Maryland. First of all, as a groom, the thing that I was in charge of was the food. I have been to many weddings. The thing that I noticed about almost every one of them was the food.

I wanted great food, I wanted the kind of stuff that would make people talk about it. I checked out my fair share of caterers and went through the meets and did not have a real desire especially with one in particular who felt it appropriate to wait a week to respond to emails... However, I digress. Along came Rouge, and in particular Regina. Our liaison to the entire operation. She not only attentive to our needs, she suggested items and helped put together a menu that was to die for.

This, I realized quickly, was a common theme with this company. There is never a problem, only suggestions and solutions. The willingness to serve and bring the most exceptional service to any affair is their priority. They work with the other vendors flawlessly to make sure everything is coordinated and taken care of.

The day of the wedding came and Regina and her team were absolutely pitch perfect. Everything that we were promised was delivered quickly, professionally, and always with a smile. Regina went above and beyond everything we could have dreamed to make our day absolutely perfect. Our guests would not stop raving about the food which made me feel that my job was well done.

It goes to show that when you employ the best people who work tirelessly to deliver the highest quality product you will achieve your dream every time. Rouge Fine Catering is without a doubt the best decision you will make with your wedding. Again, I cannot thank the staff who worked at Shade Trees and Evergreens on September 16th, 2012 enough. I cannot say enough good things about Rouge Fine Catering, and especially Anna. I got married in September, 2012, and people are still raving about how delicious our wedding food was. Anna and the whole Rouge crew went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly. We got married at a kids' summer camp, which is an out of the box venue which a few unique challenges, and Anna and Rouge navigated the situation perfectly. From the moment we had our tasting, we knew Rouge was a special catering service. Everyone we worked with at Rouge- but especially Anna- is relaxed and professional, and Anna was a calming presence with lots of solutions to the craziness of wedding planning. Everything at our tasting was delicious, and tasted just as good at our wedding, when they were serving 175 people! Anna and Rouge really worked with us to develop a menu that reflected the casual/rustic yet elegant vibe we were shooting for, and were incredibly patient and gracious through a few revisions of our menu. Plus, the value for the service and quality of food provided is outstanding. Hiring Anna and Rouge may have been the single best choice we made in planning our entire wedding, and we had a lot of wonderful vendors! I have recommended Anna and Rouge to everyone I know.

My wedding was September 1st and we used Rouge as our caterer. My husband and I wanted something "different", primarily tapas style...and they did not disappoint. The food was amazing! Fantastic at the tasting and fantastic during the wedding. With the tapas style there was something for everyone; lavender chicken, blueberry salad, tuna tartar, short ribs, mushroom salad, mini crab cakes, stuffed dates... AMAZING! And don't get me started on the roasted red pepper dip, heaven! We paid for the open bar and champagne toast as well... Which of course was a hit :)

We worked with Heather throughout the planning process and had Anna during the actual event... Both professional and attentive. I'm still getting compliments on the food and the service.

Even more amazing is not only were they caterers but they were almost like wedding planners, willing to help with details that you wouldn't expect your caterer to assist with.

I would recommend Rouge to anyone, worth every penny!

We went with Rouge for these main reasons: 1.) They had the second best Indian food we tried (1st best was too expensive) 2.) Their presentation and quality of food was great and 3) They were flexible with us (our ceremony/schedule, menu pricing, helping us set up our own centerpieces that we made, letting us buy our own alcohol, etc.)

I really don't have anything negative to say about them. We worked with Regina, and she was awesome. No problem with us adding cupcakes and upgrading meat quality a week or two before the wedding. They have a pretty large operation (I'm talking huge trucks and a giant facility), so even though our wedding was during the Grand Prix, I had no worries about them getting to the venue since they have so many employees and resources. I also liked them right from the start because they weren't cheapskates about the tastings like some of the other caterers who will only prepare for you the 5 or 6 appetizers that they are good at making.

A lot of our guests told us that it was the best wedding food that they ever had.

My Husband and I celebrated our wedding on August 25th and were lucky to have Rouge as our caterers for the reception. Beginning with the initial meeting and tasting, we were impressed with Rouge’s service and food. Anna was amazing leading up to and on the day of the wedding. She went above and beyond my expectations. From helping me figure out a timeline for the reception, to coordinating with all our vendors and ensuring that my vision for the candy buffet and reception décor was realized; Anna and the staff at Rouge captured every detail perfectly. All of my guest raved about the food, everything was fresh, hot, beautifully presented and delicious. The butlered hors d’oeuvres were unique and savory. The entrees featured classic menu items such as blackened Tilapia and Chicken Francaise with a gourmet flare. The meal was topped of with an amazing variety of desserts. Pricing was straight forward, inclusive and very reasonable; I consider it a steal for the fantastic quality and service we received. I would absolutely recommend Rouge to anyone planning an event who is looking for a professional company with outstanding service and terrific food.

We were absolutely thrilled with Rouge catering. The food was delicious and they were flexible with last minute changes. I would recommend Rouge to anyone looking for great food and service. We have not one complaint after working with them.

I hate to clutter up Wedding Wire with yet another 5-star review (there seem to be far too many on here, generally speaking) - but Rouge was really excellent. We worked primarily with Celeste and Heather.

One of my top priorities for our wedding was to have food that was ACTUALLY good (I've truly never had good food at a wedding before), and to offer adequate carnivore AND vegetarian/vegan options. They were very flexible and created our menu from suggestions of what we like to eat, not just picking out things from a long list of typical wedding foods, and they identified local sources for the meat, which was very important to us (and they tend to do anyway). They were very flexible about the alcohol too and were able to offer a lot of options for our money. They also provided signage about all the food so people knew where the meats came from and whether or not there was a vegetarian/vegan option available. We had lots of picky little requests that they accommodated for us (and followed through on).

They were extremely responsive throughout the whole process. Our guests all said the food was so good, and even the vegans were satiated (which never happens at weddings!). The staff were really great too, and everything went very smoothly. Celeste even graciously coached us through the cake cutting ceremony (the groom and I had no idea what we were doing!).

We had a really hard time deciding which caterer to use, and I think either of our top two choices would have been great, but we definitely have no regrets about choosing Rouge. I just wish I had had more time to EAT during our wedding! (But, Celeste made sure to get us plates of everything throughout the evening so we could at least attempt to eat, and they sent us home with plenty of leftovers).

Our main contacts at Rouge were Celeste and Heather and they were both fabulous. They seemed very excited to do our event and work with us from the very first time my husband and I talked to them on the phone. They were very flexible regarding meeting times, dropping things off and picking things up for the wedding, our menu selections and set up for the wedding. Celeste and Heather were very helpful when choosing linens and coordinating the set up and arrangement of tables, food, bar etc at our venue.

The food at Rouge is amazing! My husband and I loved our tasting and our guests are still raving about the food from the wedding. The Rouge tasting was by far the best tasting we went to and we had an overall great experience with Rouge from day one. And to top it off, they were very reasonably priced.

We had over 250 guests at our wedding and Rouge did a great job with the food and beverages throughout the night, as well as checking in with the wedding party to make sure we had everything we needed. Our parents are still talking about how great the food and service was. I will definitely use Rouge again.
