Wow. Wow. Wow! Absolutely worth every single penny! Romano's had the widest selection of cakes out of all the bakeries we visited, and had the best tasting cakes we have ever had! They were right on top of current trends and made the cake process super simple! I gave her an idea of what I wanted and "poof" it was done! Everyone is still talking about the cakes and how wonderful and beautiful they were.

First of all let me say that the cakes tasted great and that the groom's cake was amazing. The bridal cake however looked as though they just ran out of time and sort of threw it together. It was no more than a small step above a birthday cake you could have made at home. When it comes to wedding cakes taste is only half of the goal it has to look amazing. My advice is to use someone else unless you are a gambler and don't mind taking a chance.

The thing that peopler remember the most about your wedding is.......the cake. Romano's Bakery certainly will deliver a memorable tasting snd beautiful cake. They have the best tasting and widest selection of cakes in the DFW area. They can bring any idea to life. They are truly my bakery of choice.

Romano's Bakery is definitely one of the top places for wedding cakes in Dallas. They got back to me quickly to schedule a tasting, and were very helpful during the tasting. The selection of styles and flavors there is truly amazing, and each cake tastes more delicious than the next. We ended up going with a cake that functioned as both bride and groom cakes. We had a chocolate/amaretto layer as well as their traditional brides white.
Our cake looked truly stunning at the wedding, and many people complimented me on it! They were also great about setting everything up, and everything went off without a hitch (especially important since our wedding was on New Year's Day!)
Romano's was recommended to me by a good friend, and I wouldn't hesitate to pass along the recommendation!

Romano's Bakery did a WONDERFUL job with our wedding cake. It not only looked beautiful (my husband and I designed it), it tasted sooooooooo good.
If you want a creative baker - call Romano's. You will get a great value for the cost!
I strongly recommend them.

My husband and I just celebrated our one-year anniversary this past Sunday, and as is tradition, we had a piece of the top tier of our wedding cake that had been frozen since after our wedding. It was DELICIOUS! We both could not get over how great it tasted. Everyone loved the cake on our wedding day and we were able to share it again with friends a year later and they all commented on how great it tasted. I think it says a lot when a cake can taste so good even after a year in the freezer.

By far our best experience with a vendor. The tasting was phenomenal. The cake actually tastes good and doesn't just look pretty. I was able to customize a cake that looked just like my dress, and we were able to stay within our small budget, too! 100% recommend this vendor. And they can do absolutely amazing things with cakes!

Our wedding cake was amazing. Everyone kept commenting on how good it was and they kept asking us where we got it. We can't wait to thaw out our top tier in Oct. I loved the fact that they were so flexible in allowing us to decide how we wanted it to look. We actually combined two of the styles of the cakes on display to make ours. Our cake was so elegant and it tasted great also.

I loved Romanos! When we met with them they were so great with helping me pick out what I want and make it beautiful. They were also great with helping my husband pick out his cake, since he had no clue, haha. The tasting was excellent and the prices were better than most bakeries around the Dallas area. Everyone LOVED the cake, it was tall, beautiful and spectacular. I had multiple flavors and each one was delicious! You must get or try Grand Mariner!

I loved our wedding cake!! We were able to taste many different types and chose white cake with raspberry swirl and buttercream frosting (for 150 guests). We also just wanted a simple design, which they were able to accommodate. She was good at making suggestions so that our cake was simple, but not too plain. They were also good about accommodating the cake topper that we had already chosen. We just had to drop it off a week before the wedding, and they took care of it.
The day of the wedding, they made the delivery with no problems, and the cake tasted wonderful! I loved it! They are probably not the cheapest in town, but it was worth it.
Another bonus was that on our one year anniversary, we called them, and they gave us an anniversary cake for free! It was a small round cake, like the top layer would have been, with the same type of cake we had. It was fun to cut into our cake again, and it tasted just as good as it did on our wedding day, which it obviously wouldn't have if we had put it in the freezer for a year (yuck!).
Excellent service. Excellent cake!
