For the price this venue is worth the money. I opted to have my ceremony and reception at the same hall, so that my guests (mostly out-of-towners) did not have to travel from one location to the other.

The main ballroom is beautiful. It is a small ballroom that accommodates up to 200 people. Also, I like that everything is inclusive. We had use of a large ballroom, bar area, reception area, bride room and outside courtyard. There was no bridal party after ours, so there was no running into other brides. Our catering was done on site and it included the cost of our wedding cake (a basic design). The total for everything was appx. $10K for 80 guests. There was no additional fees for basic linen and chairs or set-up of the ceremony and reception. We had to provide our own alchohal but that is standard.

Check out there websites online. The pictures are exactly how it is in person. Only downside, is parking is limited because it located in the heart of old town pasadena. However, there is a parking garage right across the street.

Ceremony & Reception Venue

Also owned and managed by Castle Catering, The Romanesque Room was the best for creating an intimate setting for our 175 guests. I loved the versatility of the space - outdoor courtyard, large cocktail reception area, and large banquet room. As our late afternoon/evening reception progressed, the whole thing was magical. We had a large contingency of guests from out of town who still talk about how wonderful our wedding was and how amazing they thought the location was.

The Romanesque Room is centrally located in Old Town Pasadena - and is an even better location to have a reception if you're having a lot of out of town guests who are staying in nearby hotels. There is a lot to see and do in Old Town before and after the wedding - day and night.
