Rob was difficult to work with. He told my grandmother to hide her cane in a family picture. After I told him several times that my stepbrother is austic and about all the of the young nieces and nephews in my family, he was rigid and unable to deal with their difficulty taking pictures. When I told him I had a problem blinking problem, he assured he would photo shot it out. He did not. I have several shots where one of my eyes is closed or half closed. When I emailed him and expressed my concern about quality of pictures (he also missed several important moments at the wedding and after)..he said that he couldn't fix something like a lazy eye. He also said we got what we paid for (we ordered the least expensive package). We found out at the reception that he had a heart attack the month before when he almost passed out in the 90 degree heat. He told us at the reception about his heart attack and that it was his first job back. My wedding day was perfect..but I would give anything to have used another photographer. There is no way we can ever get those moments back that he missed or would not photoshop as he verbally stated he would.

Rob took great engagement and wedding photos and really listened to what we wanted as well.

Rob recently took the photos for our wedding, and we were in general very pleased with him. His philosophy is "photojournalism" so there were lots of candid shots from throughout the day, which is wonderful because it makes it so easy to relive by looking through the photos. He also came up with lots of fun and romantic shots for the bridal party after the ceremony. He asked for a list of all the family/group photos we wanted taken over the course of the day, and went out of his way to make sure all of them were taken. The only complaint we had was that at times, in order to take charge of getting a group picture taken, his demeanor was less than cheerful. But, I also realize he has probably done so many weddings and knows if someone doesn't take charge it won't get done. Overall very happy with our choice!

Rob is a true professional and a joy to be around. He was true to his word - he would take the posed photographs we wanted at the venue we chose, and the rest he would come up with. He actually took us to an art fair that was going on in town that weekend to take pictures there! And even though the pictures turned out fabulously, it was even more fun just to be at an art festival in a wedding dress! Plus, he showed up on time, knew where everything was, and had already worked multiple times with our also wonderful videographer, Rob Corns (who I would also recommend - they're great as a team)! He was never in the way, but if I was ever curious about where he was, all I had to do was look around and I would find him taking photos. We were so lucky to find him! If you like the photojournalistic approach, Rob (and Rob) is your guy!

My husband and I got married two years ago and we were referred to Rob through a family friend who used him for her wedding. After comparing his photography against a few other photographers, you cannot beat his prices, customer service, and quality of pictures!! He does a phenomenal job with photojournalism style photography, my husband and I were so pleased that we blew up one of our wedding photos into a 20x30 photo to frame and hang above our fireplace. Everyone who sees the print thinks it is a painting it is such good quality! I can honestly say Rob was one of the best vendors we had for our wedding....he was easy to work with, committed to fulfilling our requests, and extremely reasonable in his pricing. You get great quality for a great price! He even came to our rehearsal and photographed several pictures to have as memories of the event, which we did not ask for nor was part of our package....just simply something as a nice gesture for no added fee. My husband and I were so pleased we have gone back to use Rob for family portraits...and in the future we will use him with kids. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I was impressed with Rob's professionalism in preparation for the wedding. He was always available to speak with and was willing to adjust for my needs. On the day of the wedding he was in the background like he promised. But during the formal photos I wanted he seemed a bit flustered with people. Perhaps it was because we were a bit behind schedule (but that wasn't his fault) or maybe because some of my family was taking pictures too, but I felt his manner was lacking in politeness for a time. He seemed to relax a bit later, though.

Rob was GREAT! If you are looking for more relaxed, natural photography on your wedding... he is your guy. He is very professional & your guests will hardly even notice him since he using special lenses to shoot from far away so he is not right up on the altar with you. He blends in very well & will really give you what you want. Definatley would recommend.

My husband and I felt so lucky to have found Rob! His work is really photojournalistic.. which was beautiful. We got to keep our album of proofs and he did an amazing job. He was the first person to arrive at our rehearsal in order to prepare. He actually was involved in an accident the day of our wedding. He still came.. did an AMAZING job... He is incredibly professional and because he works for himself is VERY reasonably priced. Book him early! Our photos couldn't be better.

Besides loving Rob's photojournalistic style, he was the ONLY vendor that gave us a CD of pictures (which he was OK with uploading onto a photo website for independent printing) and a beautiful proof album in which the proofs were not traditional proofs with the word 'proofs' through every shot, but actual 4x6 pictures. And, his prices were a la carte. So, we weren't stuck picking out and paying for things we didn't need or want.

The only thing I would recommend is to have a good list of the pictures you want. I didn't put a very good list together, and although he took all of my requested pictures, I wish I had more family pictures. But, since his photojournalistic style is more candid, and less posed pictures, that was my fault, not his.

He is Wonderful! Always fast to respond. Will travel. Takes AMAZING Photojouralistic style pictures!

Rob worked very well with my husband and I. If you are interested in more candid shots, he is the guy for you!

Rob is extremely professional and did a great job with our wedding photography. He was flexible to work with and did everything we asked. He even provided great suggestions we didn't even think of.
What was even better is he took so many photos without us even knowing he was there. He truly captured our day and we would refer him to anyone looking for a flexible, professional, and creative photojournalist to capture the emotion of our wedding day.

Rob was a joy to work with. He took us through every step of the way. At the time of our booking, we got a great deal on photos. His prices did go up right after we booked, but his prices were right along with everyone else we looked at. Rob took every picture that I asked him too and then some. I was even able to buy the negatives after the wedding enabling me to get whatever photos I wanted to in years to come.
