On quality of service: we were provided about 105 high quality pictures of our wedding and we were promised an artistic and creatively designed coffee table book from Richard Fortin Weddings. Instead we received a book with 8x10 pictures in no particular order with the Richard Fortin Weddings logo twice the size of any other text in the book.

On responsiveness: it took six months to get a book of non-creatively designed photos in a book. Too long and uncreative.

On Professionalism: The photographer showed up to the wedding in flip flops and an unbuttoned polo shirt with no ideas for original photos. No direction, no photographic vision, nothing worth the money.

I guess you get what you pay for. About 15 great shots for 1000 dollars. Its not worth it. Period.

Richard was great to work with. I was happy with my pictures but wished I would have taken the time to do more. I got caught up in them moment and only did 1 pose with the entire bridal party. I would have liked for Richard to be a little more affirmative as far as giving me ideas or telling me what to do. Take your time because it only happens once!

The first thing I would say about Richard Fortin Photography is that the price is GREAT. He has been responsive since day one, and even now- over a year after my wedding, he continues to be helpful when I ask for certain prints to be made up.
The quality of his photography is not compromised, although you might think so with his price being much lower than most. I found the product to be unique from the usual cliche' wedding photos. He was also quick to edit and I received my photos in less than two or three weeks.

Richard was an excellent photographer who worked with my husband and I beforehand to make sure that everything was exactly the way we wanted it. On the day of our wedding, he was prompt, polite, relaxed, out of the way and most importantly took some amazing photographs. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in the area.
