Ron Reaves was a joy to work with. He responded to emails quickly and helped us create our perfect ceremony in person and via email. He understood we wanted a short ceremony with just a little bit of religion incorporated in and he helped us to create that. Very prompt for both the rehearsal and reception. He was a joy to work with!
He was so enjoyable to work with. He created and performed a flawless and thoughtful wedding ceremony. He even sent us a keepsake of our wedding vows and of the service. We are so glad to have had met him and for him to be a part of our wedding day. He is located in Frederick and has worked with other couples who have their ceremony at Ceresville.
We were so happy to find Rev. Reaves and have him as our wedding officiant! A close friend of mine had been married by him in the year previous to our wedding, and I remembered how perfect the ceremony was and how well it represented the couple who was getting married. So naturally I thought of Rev. Reaves for my own wedding when the time came. My husband's family is half-Jewish, and we were very concerned about not wanting to offend anyone with the language in the ceremony; Rev. Reaves essentially let us edit and change the ceremony to be exactly as we wanted. He was so incredibly nice -- and responsive! No matter what time I would email him -- 9 in the morning or 9 at night sometimes -- he would almost always respond right away. It was amazing, how "plugged in" he was! (Did I mention he uses a GPS to direct him to reception sites?) Moreover, I can't say enough about how accommodating Rev. Reaves was throughout our planning process. He was fine with us having essentially a non-religeous but traditional wedding. He was fine with whatever word changes, readings and passages we wanted to include. He didn't have a problem with a 20-minute ceremony. In short, he let us have the ceremony that felt right to US. We are so grateful to him for his flexibility, guidance and friendship, and would highly recommend his services to any couple.
Rev. Ron was a wonderful officiant for our wedding, he helped us choose vows that were right for us and performed our ceremony with care and charisma! He even created a beautiful wedding certificate for us to frame!
