Rev. Ray officated my husband and I's 9/30/11 wedding and we couldn't have asked for more! He was the one and only officiant we ever met with, and right off the bat we knew he was the one we wanted on our special day.
We got so many compliments on our ceremony and it's all thanks to Ray. :)

We first heard Reverend Ray officiate at one of our friend's wedding ceremony. He did an excellent job and we thought we would give him a try for our wedding. We met with Reverend Ray and it didn't take long for us to decide, he was warm, friendly and organized. My Husband and I agreed that he was the perfect choice for our wedding. We wanted to incorporate Filipino traditions in to our wedding and he was well prepared and had everything we needed to do so. Reverend Ray provides a very thorough ceremony book that allows you to customize the ceremony to reflect you as a couple. He conducted our rehearsal and helped it run very smoothly. The ceremony was beautiful, light-hearted and fun all at the same time. We couldn't have asked for more! We would definitely recommend Reverend Ray!

Ray was so great for me and my husband, he was always so humble and made the atmosphere so comfortable especially in the stress of all the wedding planning. He always was able to put a smile on my entire families faces and made for the best officiant ever. I was very happy we decided to go with him. I would recommend him to anyone.

Ray is amazing! He helped make our wedding day perfect. He has a presence that every wedding needs. He helped our rehearsal run smoothly and kept the ceremony light hearted and all about us. We were able to pick the words and parts our entire ceremony to reflect us as a couple. I received more complements on Ray then anything at our wedding!

Reverend Ray has a very positive vibe and we enjoyed working with him. My Husband and I wanted a short, but religous, wedding. When we put together our ceremony he was able to give us an est. ceremony length and it turned out exacly how we wanted. Our wedding day was about 70 degrees and bright. All of our guests were glad it was short too! He is very helpful with all types of weddings. When you book him he gives you an online book of what a ceremony is broken up into and has lots of different selections for each. eg., intro, vows, rings, prayer, etc. He gave lots of helful pointers and reminders at the rehearsal to help the ceremony run smoothly. Although he was a little late to our rehearsal, he showed up early to our wedding and went over cues with our DJ for when to play and switch songs for entering and exiting the "aisle" at our outdoor wedding. He is very affordable and does a terrific job for what he charges compared to a lot of officiants out there. He responds to emails and phone calls quickly. I would reccomend him to anyone including family and friends looking for an offiant. We were very pleased to work with him and have him as our officiant.

Rev. Ray Van Winkle was great! He is really down to earth and easy to talk to, and has a great sense of humor. He helps make everyone feel comfortable, at what can sometimes be a stressful or nerveracking day. :)

He is very professional, and always got back to us immediately with any questions we had. I couldn't have had a better officiant!

Ray was exactly what I pictured our officiant to be (and Im very picky)! There were so many to chose from and the only one I wanted at my wedding was Ray. He gives off a very positive loving vibe and he was so warm and friendly. Our guests said they loved our ceremony and really felt the love and connection. I was so nervous but he keept me at ease and was so helpful in making sure we had all of our paperwork and made sure everything was mailed in and taken care of. Thank you so much Ray! After many interviews with different Officiates we were happy to of found Rev. Ray Van Winkle, He was very personable, warm and listened well, and had many great ideas that made our wedding day as special as it could be, he was very professional and courteous as he guided our guests and ourselves through a very stressful day and turned it into a joyous occasion. I would highly recommend him for anyone’s wedding officiate.

We booked Rev. Van Winkle, after meeting him, and decided that we really liked him. However, when it came time for our rehersal, he was supposed to be there an hour, and he rushed us to start, and then only went over everything once. He also showed up 20 minutes before our wedding ceremony, when we specifically asked him to be early because there were people that could not be at the rehersal. We were only just satisfied with him - I have not and will not recommend him to my friends.

ray was great. easy, quick, simple. you have to do a little work on your part but you get what you pay for. i would recommend rev. ray esp. if you are non-denominational. he makes the wedding ceremony fun too.
