If I could give Rev. Hope McNew a 10 out of 5 I would. She was absolutely our favorite vendor we worked with. She was incredibly knowledgeable about our venue and gave us great advice along the way. My husband and I wrote our entire ceremony and Rev. Hope executed it PERFECTLY. Everything was exactly as we requested. We were a bit nervous about picking a Reverend to officiate our ceremony because we were having a non-religious ceremony but Hope was completely non-judgmental. She was an absolute joy to work with.

We liked Hope from the first time we met her. She is warm, outgoing, and friendly. We wanted a non-denominational ceremony and she had very good suggestions to make our wedding day our own. She was extremely responsive and very prompt to our rehearsal and to the wedding itself. She made sure we were comfortable and the ceremony went very smoothly. Also, her fees were the most reasonable of everyone we spoke with. Would definitely recommend her!

Hope was referred by my sister-in-law who also had her ceremony performed by Hope. She is a wonderful officiant. She creates your ceremony or let's you build your own. We chose to build our own and it was unique to us and our wedding. She was like one of our friends or family members at the ceremony and we both felt very comfortable with her. She even joked a little during the ceremony to lighten things up when I forgot to take my engagement ring off before I walked down the aisle. We just referred to her to some of our family for their wedding in September!

Hope did a great job. We would not have picked anyone else to share in our special day with us. She made us all feel very comfortable and relaxed. I have known hope for a very long time, she is a great person and I highly recommend her.

We cannot even begin to explain how happy we were with Rev. Hope McNew. She made everything so easy for us. When we first started planning out the ceremony, my husband and I were very uncertain about how it would be since neither one of us is very religious. Rev. Hope McNew did not care at all. She wanted more than anything to make the ceremony exactly as we had dreamed. She provided us with several booklets filled with suggested passages and such to read during the ceremony. She let us pick out exactly what we wanted and even helped us with the wording of some passages. She did a wonderful job during the ceremony and received several compliments from guests. After we packed everything up from the wedding, we noticed that she had printed a booklet with the entire ceremony printed in it. It was such a wonderful surprise to find that and it means so much to me that she did that for us. I will enjoy looking through that booklet for years to come. She is such a nice person and only cares about making sure that the bride and groom are completely happy. We were very impressed with her. It meant so much to us to be able to personalize our ceremony so much. I would definitely recommend Rev. Hope McNew to anyone looking for an officiant for their wedding. She is a wonderful person and I am so happy that we found her!

Hope did a wonderful job! She met with us early on, gave us an overview of the sections of the ceremony, gave us suggestions and books to select the ceremony sections from, should we not want to write it ourself. She was responsive and ontime for everything. Everyone commented on how nice the ceremony was, the selections used for the ceremony were a wonderful blend of traditional, not so tradtional and personally written. Hope also provided us with a nicely bound copy of our ceremony at the end, as well as printed the reading selections for our readors. She was great!!

Rev Hope McNew is so easy to work with. She met us when we needed to be met, she helped us work out our ceremony, even providing changes and fixes up to the week of the wedding. She really was the easiest of all of the people that we worked with for our wedding. We recommend her services to anybody; from traditional wedding to the most contemporary.

We instantly clicked with Hope at our first meeting and were very pleased with our wedding ceremony. We picked out vows and readings from her books and she helped tie everything together. We received so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the service. She was very responsive during the planning process and great in organizing our rehearsal. Everything went smoothly during the ceremony. I highly recommend her!

We absolutely LOVE Hope! She is the sweetest lady! She did a great job with helping me plan the ceremony! She is such a warm and happy person, anyone would get along with her! She was very professional and did an amazing job with the ceremony!

Rev. Hope was great at our initial meeting. Very flexible and willing to customize our ceremony as much or as little as we wanted. The ceremony was great & everyone was raving about how personalized the ceremony was. She was early the day of and did a great job with the ceremony, handling a hiccup with the microphone well. We have & will continue to recommend her.
We had minor problems with emails not getting through & such when we were in the process of writing our ceremony. And we weren't quite sure how she would work in the information about us & how we met until we heard it the day of (but it was great & just enough about us to make it special).
The biggest hiccup was that while I thought I confirmed the rehearsal time months before the wedding, she had scheduling conflicts but said she'd be there about 30 minutes late. I never could find my email where I confirmed the rehearsal so I chalked it up to "Bride-Brain" & we just planned to proceed without her until she arrived. It wasn't a big deal as there really wasn't much she had to rehearse with us. She did arrive 1 hour after our rehearsal. By that time another rehearsal had started and we had to send all our guests & wedding party to the rehearsal dinner without us. We wound up arriving at our own rehearsal dinner 30 minutes late. We were a little flustered but tried to take it in stride, but probably just would have had her not come if we had known we'd be delayed that much. Moral of the story...just confirm your data & time of your rehearsal well in advance as she is very busy. Overall, I would recommend her, but you must be very clear about confirming meetings & the rehearsal with her well in advance & again in the days prior to your scheduled meeting.

We couldn't have asked for a better Officiant! Rev. McNew was always available to answer our questions, she gave us booklets of ideas for our vows and what we wanted to have done on our day. Her personality shines and you can tell she truly enjoys what she does. She even help us out on the night of the rehersal too! We would recommend Rev. McNew to anyone who is getting married!

From the moment we met Hope at a Starbucks, Dave and I knew she was going to be wonderful. She makes ceremony wording easy to chose with books of examples. She also gives you idea books for readings and ceremony ideas. Dave has commented on how she kept him so calm before and during the ceremony. And she kept me calm as well. She gently reminds you of what you need to do during the ceremony and helps to guide you through. I have had several people ask me who she is because they really liked her. I highly recommend Hope McNew.

When we first met with Rev. Hope McNew we thought we had found an ideal officiant. We were able to write our own ceremony, which is the main positive for us. As the days go closer, however, we scheduled a time to meet with her again. When she was (what we thought) 20minutes late my husband contacted her to make sure she was coming. She responded by starting a verbal argument, and said that she never received a confirmation of the time, and that she couldn't meet us. While I understand there was a miscommunication there was no need to start yelling at us. I guess she realized she was wrong, because when we rescheduled she kept repeating, "I'm sorry." The day of the rehearsal she came in, looked at my father, did not introduce herself, and asked if he was planning to pay her -- he had no idea who she even was. The day of the wedding she told my mother before the ceremony that my husband looked, sounded, and acted like he was drunk. She made a mistake about 15min into the ceremony, which was fine, but she then decided to start from the beginning, not just re-read the sentence, which ultimately lengthened the ceremony. In the end we were married, which is what the purpose was, but we were not happy with the quality at all.

Rev. Hope was wonderful. She is nondenominational and gives you and much or as little help as you need to create the ceremony you want. When we first met with her she was absolutely warm and inviting. She has quite a few resources and pamplets with tons of passages that have been successful in past weddings. Overall, she aims to please. We loved her!
