  We worked with Scott for our engagement photos which I would definitely recommend - gives you time to meet each other before the big day! Then we worked with Scott and Dan for our wedding. They were great guys to work with, they are so friendly, fun and professional. Wow - our wedding pictures are brilliant! We love them all! :-) It is going to be difficult to pick a small sample to put in our wedding album! Scott and Dan were able to capture everything that happened at our wedding from the bridal party and family pics to the venue itself, from the ceremony to the food we enjoyed, so that we have a superb memory of our special day! :-) We are so excited that we will have these photos to treasure forever and would definitely recommend Red Box Pictures!

  Scott Eklund at Redbox Pictures is literally the most amazing photographer in the Pacific Northwest. He is brilliant! He makes an effort to capture the little moments that mean the most; the smiles, tears, and numerous facial expressions that are shown during an intimate event like our wedding. He is also extremely creative and thinks of ideas on the spot, which makes working with him very fun and easy-going. He did a fantastic job taking advantage of the great scenery and sunshine/sunset we had that day, and the pictures turned out wonderful. We absolutely love our wedding photos, and will have them forever. Thanks to his beautiful work, we'll be able to share these memories forever! I will recommend Scott and his company to friends and family for years to come, and I'm thrilled we were able to work with him for our wedding.

  I initially met Scott at the Seattle wedding expo after being drawn into the Red Box Pictures booth by their breathtaking display pictures. My initial impression was that Scott was friendly and extremely talented without being pushy or arrogant, something that can be rare to find when talking with wedding vendors. He kindly answered my questions and showed me examples of the work produced by all of the photographers. I was sold.
  
  Our wedding was at the Edgewater hotel which has floor to ceiling windows overlooking Puget Sound. It's a beautiful setting but can be tricky photographing. I spent many hours looking through websites to see who could capture the beauty we were paying so much for. The staff at Red Box were the only photographers that could do it. When we asked Scott about this his answer was simple, they bring in lighting. It may not seem like a huge thing, but this is something not many photographers offer but can change the pictures from special memories into works of art.
  
  My (now) husband does not like to be in front of the camera, but Scott made us feel completely at ease during the engagement photos to the point of forgetting we had a camera pointed at us for over an hour. We were on the fence with the engagement photos but I highly recommend it. It's a great way to get to know your photographer a little better and to start to feel comfortable in front of a camera for long periods of time.
  
  On our wedding day Scott and Ethan were incredibly personable with all of our wedding guests, seamlessly blending in as if they were there as guests. With almost 200 guests, a 20 person wedding party and some unexpected cultural events, their ability to capture each moment was incredible and something we will always be thankful for. The pictures are pieces of art and exceed any expectation I had, or could have imagined having, capturing the special moments and laughs we shared throughout the day. I will never be able to thank Scott and Ethan enough!

  We found Red Box online while searching for wedding photographers. Of course I fell in love with their work immediately. I contacted them and they got back to me the same day with their rate sheet. We had decided that we wanted a great photographer for our wedding- we had a modest budget and a modest venue so signing up with Red Box was a big deal since this was going to be a significant portion of our wedding budget. After meeting with them at their studio we were hooked. Several of the photographers were there and we spent some getting to know them and they let us look at their specific portfolios online so we could see if there was one specific style that we clicked with more than the others. They were all great and could have chosen any of them and it would have been perfect. We requested Andy and he was a dream to work with! Very responsive and professional from the time we signed up all the way through the wedding day.
  
  My only concern with looking at their photos was that we weren't getting married at some high-end fantastic venue like you see on their website. Would they be able to capture our day with the same type of results without those types of backdrops? It turns out I was silly to even worry about such things. Our photos turned out AMAZING and somehow Andy was able to be everywhere at once without anyone noticing. He's like a ninja or something:) Andy worked so hard the entire time and it showed when we got to see the final result. They promised the finished pics 4-5 weeks from the event and 4 weeks on the dot they delivered. Worth every penny. We are so happy we chose Andy and Red Box as our wedding photographers.

My daughter and I were impressed with the examples of their work, (clearly the most creative and inventive of the show) and the time they all took to talk with us. Michelle, my daughter, originally leery of the time photographers might burn up during her wedding day, felt very comfortable with them and we left the show with not one, but two photographers! (For this, her mother is eternally grateful :)
  
  Andy Rogers and Scott Eklund were prompt and worked nonstop to capture Michelle & Jason's wedding precisely as they had requested. With the right mix of posed (few but fun) and hundreds of candid shots, they documented the day from start to finish and somehow managed to do it without anyone really noticing they were there!
  
  We are so thankful for this important day of pictures. We had a fantastic time and can now look back and laugh about how much fun we had; oblivious to the fact that Andy & Scott were catching it all on film.

  Dan’s jaw-dropping, tear-provoking photographs are an amazing history of some of the most important moments of our lives. An innovative photographer with a knack for composition, Dan did a remarkable job documenting the telling details, spontaneous expressions of emotion, and the deep joy of our wedding day.
  
  Dan is extremely dedicated to getting great photographs –he even lay down on the floor to get a fantastic shot of our wedding rings. We looked at the pictures and marveled about Dan’s ability to be everywhere – still not sure how he managed to dash from the front of the room to the back then to the front again to capture the walk down the aisle. We think he might have superpowers.
  
  In addition to being an exceptionally skilled photographer, Dan’s a great guy. During the chaos of a busy wedding day, Dan was relaxed, supportive, and made us bust up laughing. Other than the person you’re marrying, your photographer is the one you’re going to be spending the most time with on the wedding day and we were so happy we had Dan with us. Friends and family raved about his photography and his awesomeness.
