As a low budget bride, I had ordered my wedding dress from Ebay (from China), which was a HORRIBLE IDEA (please do not do that to yourself!). So, I waited for 3 months, and, a little over 1 month before my wedding, received the horrendous dress from China. I returned the dress and found myself with no wedding dress for a very soon wedding. I went out on a Saturday, and after visiting the usual David's Bridal, Alfre Angelo and some other stores, did not find anything I liked and that was within my budget.
I called Rashawn Rose just before going back home and spoke to Rose, who did not discourage me when I told her about my super minimal budget for my dress. She told me to pass by and that she would try to help me out. When I came in the store, I realized that looked like an expensive boutique, with BEAUTIFUL dresses! The salesperson that started talking to me (not Rose), said I could not find any dress in that store close to my budget. However, Rose found 2 dresses for me to pick from that were within my budget. One of the dresses was the one I liked the MOST, it was sooooooooo pretty and just how I wanted it.
I got the dress for the price I wanted and at the wedding, lots of people came to tell me they loved my dress.
I am very happy with their service and would definitely recommend them! :)

They where great in helping me pick my dress. They catered to me completely, and not just thru picking my dress but with all the fittings and pick up. They truely are amazing and so was there seamstress. The seamstress was able to take my mothers wedding veil and modernizer it. It was a true 80's veil made new for me. They have lot of beautiful gowns and they really make you feel like a princess. Thank you so much for making me look so gorgeous.

WoW-when we first met with Rose, from Rashawn Rose Couture,  we were taken back by her personal, hands on, pay attention to ALL the details approach!  We were really naive to the "bridal gown selection process", Rose took us under her loving wing and slowly began to lead us in the right direction. From the hundreds of yards tule, to the hand made veil,  the hand sewn gloves to match the gown, to the endless fittings, the tiara and down to 3000 hand sewn Swaroski crystals, Rashawn Rose delivered on all accords with flawless execution!

After trying on my third gown,  it was the fourth one that took my breath away........but not at first.  Standing in front of the mirror in Rashawn Rose's shop, as i looked at the fourth gown i had on, i thought to myself, this is going to take a lot longer than i thought to find the gown of my dreams.  I said, no, I don't like this one as I turned to walk away, then I caught a glimpse of gown number four in a side mirror and I stopped and looked at my fiancé, he had a smile on his face that I didn't recognize, and he said to Rose, I think she found her gown! Because the look on my face as I passed by the side mirror and saw the St. Pucchi gown draped over my body with such perfection, and flowing onto the floor with such grace and detail, must have been the look that every woman has when she finds the gown that she will wear as she stands before the man that she is going to marry. 

From the beginning to the end; Rose thought of every intricate detail!  Even on her fashion travels, Rose would be on the lookout for the smallest accessory that would enhance our vintage couture wedding.  Seemingly calm under pressure, Rose and her staff handled our entire bridal party's attire. From the bridesmaids gowns, the maid of honors unique accessories, the groomsmen suits, the specialty suit for the keeper of the rings; every facet of our wedding attire was handled with grace and perfection.

We will forever be grateful for Rose, the owner of Rashawn Rose Couture.  The love and compassion she demonstrated towards us showed in the weeks and days leading up to the eve of our wedding.  We can't even begin to express in words the gratitude we feel in our hearts for Rose. We didn't even know where to begin or what to look for in selecting a wedding gown. Let alone matching the bridesmaids gowns and the groomsmen suits to our wedding theme of our elaborate, eccentric, vintage couture wedding.   

Rose went above and beyond our expectations as the owner of a bridal boutique.  Her presence at our wedding to assist with the bridal party was phenomenal. She went out of her way to assist with all the bridesmaids as well as myself with the donning of my gown.  She went far beyond her expectations as she de-clothed my under garments when she noticed them showing right before I walked down the aisle. I was beside myself with joy as I realized then and there how much Rose meant to me and my husband to be!

The St. Pucchi gown that Rose handed me to try on was the most breath taking gown that I have ever laid my eyes on. It matched my eccentric, vintage couture wedding to perfection.   
I will never forget the look on my face, the feel of my body, the way I felt in the dress, the material; I felt more special than a princess and a queen and Rose helped make me feel like that. She helped with everything. I never felt as beautiful as I did the day of my wedding.  Thank you Rose!

Rose and Kathy helped me so much with finding the right dress for me! They knew what would look good on me and found my dress! They bend over backwards to help you find and look fabulous! Also Anna, the alteration lady, is wonderful!

I went to Rashawn Rose on a whim in December because I received an email from the knot that they were having year end clearance sale. I was frustrated and uninspired by the chains like David's and Alfred Angelo, but did not have the budget/waistline to really shop in a boutique (or so i thought!). I called to make an appointment and was assured that they did have my size and plenty to choose from in my price range.

When i arrived at my appointment (she was able to squeeze me in after work on a weekday, very convenient), the store owner (Rose) was there to personally greet me. She locked the front door of the store and gave us her undivided, personal attention for over two hours. She helped me choose several BEAUTIFUL gowns. The prices were incredibly reasonable for top of the line designers. I was torn between two dresses, but picked out "the one" that very night. Rose was amazing to work with. She was very sweet and personable and was not afraid to voice opinions and give guidance when asked. Her experience really showed in that she knew what would look good (even if i didn't!) and how to accentuate the positive.

The dress that i chose had a zippered back, but I really wanted something that laced up. The seamstress (Anna) was able to actually create a corset-style, lace-up back in the dress for me! I had multiple fittings where we tweaked some details and, in the end, it is seriously my one of a kind, DREAM dress. The entire staff is so wonderful and helpful. Cathy was at most of my fittings and taught my mom and MOH how to work with my bustle and properly tie the corset. She was also very insightful and gave lots of great ideas and suggestions (and re-assurance!) with the tailoring.

I also ordered my bridesmaid's dresses here. My only advice is to order early!! Our dresses took a while to come in from the manufacturer, but it all worked out and Rose made sure that we were able to fit in all of the tailoring in time.

Overall - AWESOME experience.

Rose is amazing. She loves what she does and knows her stuff. She suggested my dress for me and she was so right! She was affordable, no pressure and really cares about her clients.

The dress was only $500 and it looked great and they did a good job at fitting it to my body. The employees are very nice. The altering was a bit expensive but never having bought a wedding dress before I'm sure it's worth it.

I HIGHLY recommend that all rent their dresses. RashawnRose was a great company; I'll definitely use them again the next time I have a big event to dress for. I even used their beautiful jewelry and they were so sweet that they helped me pick everything out and oohed and aahed over me like they would in a fancy dress shop. My wedding photos look like I spent thousands instead of hundreds. Highly recommended!

Excellent service!!!!Very professional and great sales !They have beautiful dresses there... After going to several places, I found my dress there, and it was not hard to fall in love with it... Really nice place to pick your dress and very friendly people...

What can I say...I not only looked like, but felt like a princess on my wedding day! I went into Rashawn Rose not really knowing what I wanted my dress to look like and was willing to keep an open mind...Thankfully!! The staff at Rashawn Rose, Kathy & Keisha, pulled out a dress which I never would have grabbed on my own...it ended up being a dress which looked like it was made just for me! I instantly felt like a bride...a princess bride...and the tears started flowing from the family as I walked out the dressing room. The staff was attentive and helpful, the prices were reasonable, and I truly couldn't be more happy with my choice. My guests couldn't stop raving about how gorgeous my dress! The in-store alterations were also awesome! I would definitely recommend Rashawn Rose!!

Not what I excpected from a small store. Not great

Went to Rawshawn Rose for my wedding dress ans was greeted by snippy sales people. Rose helped me herself. I felt she treating me like I was beneath her. She made me feel like I didnt know what I wanted and tried to put me in a much more expensive dress than my budget could allow. It was all about the sale for her. She was also quite demanding to her employees. It sounded like she was treating them like her servants and right in front of customers. I left and will not go back or recommend this small stripmall storefront shop. It was overcrowded and stuffed with merchandise to the point where you could not easily walk. Not for me.
