We did a number of tastings throughout Dallas. We went to the expensive, reputable vendors, and we tried a few our friend's used, but we kept coming back to Radford! Their flavors are incomparable. The pricing is more than reasonable. The cake was on time, designed exactly per our request (beautiful!), and MOIST, unlike so many I've had before! We had some issue with responsiveness in the early months, but the quality of the end product outweighed any frustration. In fact, the topper for our anniversary? Only lasted 2 weeks in the freezer!!! YUM!!

Great tasting cakes for the price. Very beautiful. The only complaint i have is that they were extremely hard to get a hold of. They have an email and a phone number, but it would be days before I ever heard back.

Let me start with the cakes were incredible! They were almost completely eaten by the end of the wedding. Everyone raved about how good they were.
Also, the prices are extremely competitive. I had a another cake vendor tell me that a "guitar" cake would cost a lot more. Radford said no problem at all - easily done. They really know what they're doing.
My only complaints - they're not very responsive. If you call, it goes to voicemail. And you're more likely to get a response 24 -48 hrs if you email. And even that is too long to respond to a customer - let alone a nervous bride!
Also, they forgot to bring my cake topper with the cake which was very disappointing. However, I understand that it was the first time that has happened and they did everything they could make it better. Really nice people and great cake!

Everyone at my wedding reception was raving about the cake and the cupcakes! The only bite I got of the cake was the piece my husband fed to me. The cake was gone! Luckily I got to taste the yummy cupcakes. People are still talking about the cake.

I wish I could give them another star for value and quality!
I am still so impressed with the bridal and groom's cake they made for us. I took in a photo of what I wanted and Kristen talked us through all the options. We ended up getting exactly what we wanted but used a dummy layer on each cake we we got the look we wanted but not the extra cake. Everything was delivered and set up on time (on a Sunday) just as we discussed.
We saved $300 over the initial cake quote we got from another vendor.

We got both bridal (square 5-tier, modern-theme) and groom's (poker-theme) cakes from Radford Cakery. They were both beautiful and delicious! The look and taste were exactly as we wanted them if not more! Our guests were so impressed! And the price was sooo reasonable! We're really happy to have ordered our cakes from them instead of going to Frosted Art despite the advice of some of our friends and relatives. We would have broken the bank just to have the cakes we wanted. Really...who needs Frosted Art if there's Radford?!!?? Kristen and Ron were very accommodating too -- which really helps if you're thinking about a million other things all at the same time! :)

Both our wedding and grooms cake were AMAZING! Everything I had dreamed of and had pictured in my head. We both designed our own cakes and they created them exactly as described! Not to mention the taste was over the top! Highly recommend!!

Radford cakery took my ideas for the cakes and ran with them. The cakes turned out beautifully and tasted great. Several people from my wedding specifically noted how delicious and unique they were. Kriten typically answered my emails within one business day. They give an enitre slice during cake tastings and even provided extra samples so that my fiance (who lived in another city) could taste the cakes when he came into town. I would absolutely recommend Radford cakery for any wedding or special event.

Incredibly affordable without taking away from the incredible flavors they offer. They can make you practically anything your mind can create and the presentation will be flawless. And let's not forget...the cake itself is heavenly!!! Do not overlook this cakery even if it is smaller than some. They will impress you as they did me!

Your search can stop here! I highly recommend Kristen and Ron Radford to do your wedding cake! Be careful though, when my husband and I went to taste cakes with them, it was all so delicious that we made ourselves sick on cake! My mother always told me, "If you eat too much cake, you will get sick" and I never believed her until now!
Both of our cakes got rave reviews from our guests who said how beautiful they were and more importantly, how delicious they were!
