The cake was so delicious - we could not have asked for better. Publix was overly accomodating as well and we were very impressed. I still dont think anyone believed it was a Publix cake - it was a higher standard then any cake I tried from a wedding cake specialist!

I know you wouldnt think to have a grocery store make your wedding cake but Publix goes above and beyond to make their customers very happy! I had a beautiful wedding cake that tasted heavenly too.

Publix has great cake, everyone knows that, and with the wedding cake it was no different. The ladies at the Event Planning department at the Publix on University Parkway in Sarasota (especially Tammy) are the best. The cake was beautiful and was amazing to eat!

We also ordered our flowers from there. The table arrangements and girls bouquets- they were great and waaayyyy less expensive than anywhere else. They created exactly what I was looking for at a third of the cost! I would definitely use them for your cake and flowers- they are pros!

Fantastic!!! Publix provided exactly what we asked for and more!!! I brought them photos of a cake I had seen in a magazine and they were able to come pretty darn close to what I was wanting. The same thing with my bouquets and ceremony arrangements. It was perfect!! I am so happy I saved my money in this area and spent it on my photography instead.

We ordered the Packages of Happiness cake. It was a 2 layered cake. I was amazed that it was eaten at all, as usually cakes are discarded and usually are only for photos. Our cake was eaten, and zero waste! It was moist, tasty, and beautifully decorated, just as we expected. Thank you Publix of Holmes Beach, Florida!

Publix provided our cakes for the reception, as well as the rehearsal dinner. Each one was delicious! We chose 3 small cakes for the rehearsal dinner and a 2 tier cake for the reception.
They were so easy to work with, especially from afar. I emailed them a picture of the cake we wanted & they were able to adapt it to the size we needed and make some other changes that we wanted. Delicious!

We did the "Slice of Paradise" for our wedding and requested light blue icing with white trim. We also used raspberry filling. It was exactly as we had pictured and it was great tasting too. Would definitely recommend Publix for anyone's wedding cake. The price is much more resonable than other bakeries.

Publix makes the best cakes. I knew well ahead of time that I wanted our wedding cake from Publix. There was no need to even go through a tasting of cakes to determine if they were any good. Everything from their bakery is wonderful. The woman in charge was able to help us with cost saving ideas as we planned with her. The cakes were ready on time, and just what we ordered.

Publix did an OUTSTANDING job, event hauling all the order up 5 flights of stairs, everything was delivered ready to grill, and even my odd and limiting allergies were addressed! Everyone raved about the food and could not believe it was from publix.

* one note - a side dish was forgotten, and I didn't check the order when it was delivered, but called a day or two after the event, pointed out that it was missing, and it was immediately refunded to my card*

publix has great cakes anyways so why not go with them? the flavor was awesome however, the cake looked a little lopsided with the icing. but it still tasted great

Publix bakery really outdid themselves. I contacted them about the cake and were extremely helpful. I was able to order over the phone and they did the rest. It was exactly the waythe picure looked and it tasted amazing!!!

Cake was pretty it tasted wonderful they delivered when they said they would. The price was very reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Took time to listen to my ideas look at all my pictures. Just that when they delivered the cake it wasn't what I asked for and looked nothing like the three pictures I left. I even hand washed and hand delivered the shells to the bakery and confirmed with everyone on their staff what I wanted. So with that said I wasn't happy because it looked nothing like what I wanted. But had it been at someone elses wedding it would have been a nice cake and a tasteful one. I was bummed to say the least! But one thing had to go wrong because everything else was PERFECT. I didn't run into any other vendor problems of any kind. Everyone else loved it and thought it was lovely. My mom told me to "quit complaining and be happy that it tasted wonderful. A beautiful cake that tasted like cat litter would have been way worse."

I found a picture of a perfect cake on line and really didn't want to spend a fortune on it. I called Publix that was the closest to the wedding and reception venue and they were very nice and told me that they can make pretty much any cake I can imagine. I had cake tasting at a different Publix location and picked out my flavors.I emailed them the picture and we discussed details (they even suggested I try a butter cream frosting instead of fondant which is more expensive). The cake was beautiful and very tasty! All of my guests were surprised that it came from a grocery store! I highly recommend them.

Two days before my wedding I finally decided to have flowers after all (it was going to be a very low key wedding) and rushed in the Publix store close to our home and the flower lady was so helpful and she had the bouquet ready for me the morning of the wedding.

We weren't interested in paying hundreds of dollars for something that you eat! Our cake from Publix was beautiful and delicious, and the right price!
