I absolutely cannot say enough good about Premiere Band! If you're looking for a group of professional musicians with a wide repertoire of songs who will really keep your event moving, here's your band! From the opening set bringing guests from the cocktail hour down into the reception tent to the fabulous "Second Line" "Saints" ending, they kept everyone dancing and having fun! Our event was held at beautiful Berkeley Plantation, so everything was outdoors on the grounds, but Premiere Band kept our guests involved and dancing through the night, stayed upbeat, enthusiastic and positive - even when it started to drizzle as all the vendors were packing up. One thing that was also very much appreciated: Not only did they do a great job of making several announcements, but they also stuck to the sets that had been selected by the bride and groom from their huge list of songs. These folks are going to make sure the vibe isn't ruined by accepting requests if you've asked them not to! We had seven members of this band on hand for our event, and they all did a fantastic job. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat! Your band is so important as it really keeps the action going - and they did the best job I've seen of this. ALL of our guests loved them and were asking who the band was. The best sign they were a success? We loved Premiere Band! Our dance floor was full all night thanks to them! We had a fantastic time and loved that they were able to incorporate some of our special requests to personalize the night. Jeanette is easy to work with (we primarily communicated via email)- she is flexible, responsive, and fun! I highly recommend them!

As the wedding coordinator, my first contact with the band came days prior to the wedding reception. I found Jeanette prompt to respond and to easy to communicate with concerning arrival time and set up. Premiere is wonderful! Not only is their playlist versatile
and their instrumentalists and vocalists top notch, but they are flexible and very able to accommodate special requests with advance notice. They are professional and reliable---and once your event begins...you can sit back, relax and have that glass of champagne....Premiere will make everything happen just the way it was planned. People of all ages from 4 to 90 will get up and dance! We've had Premiere play for an engagement party in our back garden, as well as two wedding receptions! The Premiere Band helped us create the perfect wedding. They were on time, always professional, and enthusiastic. We considered having a DJ play at the wedding to save money, but in hindsight our best decision was to hire The Premiere Band. We had older and younger people attending the wedding, and the band was able to play music from several decades so that everyone had a chance to hear one of their favorite songs. They have an amazing ability to get everyone on the dance floor. The band usually have 5 members, but you can add "brass" players for an additional fee. I strongly recommend paying the additional fee and even with that you are getting a tremendous deal for a lot of talented musicians.The Premiere Band helped us create the perfect wedding. We danced all night! What an amazing performance! They were very engaged with the audience and the audience responded with their boogie shoes. The musicians are extremely talented and go above and beyond all expectations! Premiere was extremely professional from beginning to end and I would recommend them to anyone! Premiere band played for my wedding after they were referred to me by a friend, and they were great. They were the perfect band for us and played a huge variety. I agree with the other review about the wide variety, and that it was awesome to see everyone dancing regardless of age. I would definitely recommend them to my friends/family. They will also customize their set list and take out songs you don't like. Overall, it was a great experience and we had a blast.
Also, the contact person was very easy to get in touch with and communicate with. We hired Premiere Band after having heard them play at a friend's wedding. They were great about getting everyone up on the dance floor and playing music that appealed to a wide range of ages (everyone from our college friends to our parents were out on the dance floor).
I loved that they were able to customize the experience for us by adding a brass instrument to their band since we had some of our songs that we knew we would want that sound present for.
They played all of our special songs perfectly and were very flexible about playing CDs or prerecorded music if our songs hadn't been something easy for them to learn.
