I had Justin Katz as my dj and he was great!!! I loved everything about the job that he did at our wedding. He met with me ahead of time and worked out how we were going to do everything. He was professional and wonderful to work with.

All of the dealings that I had with the boss of powermix were less than ideal. Calls weren't returned. My paperwork was lost, but the deposit that was in the same envelope wasn't. I heard that the previous owner was much more organized and that this was a transitional period. Hopefully that is right and everything get worked out because Justin was great!

There were a few pros and cons about PowerMix. They were very flexible in about times to start and music. We worked on a short schedule and they were very helpful with that and their party planner helped a lot. The DJ allowed us to give him a CD for our song the day of the wedding because we hadn't picked a song yet. However, 3 times during the reception, the music stopped because of technical difficulties. Once was because a guest tripped on the power cord, but it shouldn't have happened 2 more times. The DJ was able to get the music back up fairly quickly, so it wan't a disaster.

We had Joe Debiak as our DJ. He was so much fun! Kept the party going all night and had the dance floor full!

The wedding coordinator at my reception venue recommended this company, specifically Justin Katz. He was unavailable so Joe Debiak was our DJ. He was very professional and his style was appropriate to our more formal reception (unlike some DJs who sound like they are introducing a basketball team). The party planner was helpful, though most of the songs we requested were not even played. He did play most of our guests' requests and this kept them out on the dance floor all night long! Some of my guests said it was the most fun wedding reception they'd been to in a long time. The one thing I did not like is that Joe asked everyone to surround the dance floor and hold hands during the father-daughter dance. That was quite awkward for my guests and it was cheesy. He allowed us to play our own CD for dinner music. Working with Amy Debiak, the coordinator for Power Mix, was wonderful. She answered all of my questions promptly and was very flexible. This is a great value for the price.

Powermix and Justin Katz did a great job for our reception. We had heard Justin at another wedding and thought he played a lot of really great music. It was nice to have a master of ceremony to keep things on track and go through the whole night.

Great DJ, provided fun music during dinner and played "our songs" right off the bat. His Party Planner document is extremely helpful. My only complaint was because of the rain he had to pack up early and we didn't get to dance all night! Highly recommended, great value for the $.

Everything ran smoothly and great music selection. Allen Smith was great, he kept everything going and the guests entertained. I highly recommend him as a DJ. I've already seen him DJ at one of our friends weddings and again the service was awesome.

Power Mix was very impressive!
