Portos has the yummiest cakes and just baked goods. Our process with finding the perfect cake for our wedding was so easy with Portos. Their prices are amazing and they made sure to deliver and setup the cake without any problems for our wedding.

Love Portos! Great tasting variety to choose from. Easy to order and very flexible. I had some last minute changes to my order and Portos was able to accommodate my needs.

Porto's did the cake for our wedding and it was delicious! They delivered on time and the cake was exactly what we asked for.

Don't let the tasting fool you. My wife and I were totally unimpressed with the tasting samples, but it was included with our venue package and we had faith that Porto's would come through for us. I'm happy to say they exceeded our expectations. Our cakes looked and tasted amazing. We got several compliments from our guests noting how fresh and scrumptious our cakes tasted. My hat goes off to the ladies who also created a special grooms cake that people will be talking about for years to come. We highly recommend Portos, and want to thank both Karen and Patty for the wonderful job they did for our wedding. They truly take the cake.

The cake was amazing!! We had a 4-tier cake, all with different flavors, plus 2 extra half sheets (just to make sure all guests got cake). The cake was so good, and everyone loved it! It was moist and perfect for our wedding! The flavors we got were: black forest cake with rasberry filling, devils food cake with coconut cream filling (oh so good!!), cuban cake (a little extra moist) with cream filling and pineapple filling, and our top tier was chocolate cake with a chocolate mousse (...so good!!). All of the flavors were excellent, and the cake was absolutely beautiful! Along with having wonderfully-tasting cake, the cost was extremely low! The cakes were half the price of everywhere else we had checked (and that was including the 2 extra half sheets we bought).

The people at Porto's were wonderful as well. They were extremely helpful, and we bought our cake topper from them, so they kept it there for us until they delivered the cake on the wedding day. Everything was perfect! Thank you Porto's - the cake was amazing!

I LOVE PORTOS! They never disappoint. Our cake was beautiful and delicious.

A Porto's cake came with our venue, otherwise, we probably would have gone elsewhere. The cakes are VERY sweet in general. The frosting is so sweet you can taste the granules of sugar. It's also very difficult to get a hold of the person in charge.

The final product was beautiful. But I think if we had gone with a more elaborate design, it would have cost us money. I went back to talk to them about adding sugar flowers and they wanted to charge us. Also, they don't account for the tradition of keeping the top tier - they will charge extra for this also.

Portos did an amazing job with my wedding cake. The staff was very easy to work with and they tried to stay within my budget. I brought in pictures of exactly what I wanted for my cake and they made it! I received so many complements about my cake...it was beautiful. Besides the look, the cake was delicious.

The cake was so pretty guests loved it! Staff at Portos is great. The best bakery in town. Only problem is that red velvet cake cannot withstand summer heat so you need to have a winter wedding if that's your favorite cake. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with cuban cake!

Porto's Bakery in Glendale did our wedding cakes - yes cakes - we did 5 small cakes in different flavors - and they were fantastic! We went for a simple white buttercream frosting on all with a different 'design' (small dots, vertical spatula stroke, etc.) The cakes were adorable and most importantly delicious! They are super affordable (so much cheaper than other bakeries!) Be sure to go in and check them out before hand - be sure to come with an empty stomach! You can try most of the flavors in the bakery by slice. (Lines at the bakery at this popular place can be long so be sure to set aside a good amount of time to enjoy!)

Porto's was one of my vendors that caused me unnecessary stress. In the months leading up to my wedding, I tried numerous times, unsuccessfully, to reach those in charge of my cake. Whenever I called in, I was routed to Lulu and never could actually get her on the phone. I got her voice mail and would leave messages but either did not get a call back or got a call back literally 4-5 days later. I think that may have had something to do with her not working certain days. I was always told I HAD to talk to her and that no one else could help me if/when I needed to make slight changes to my order (moving the delivery time up, inquiring about a cake stand, etc.) That was my biggest problem and worse nightmare, not being able to get a hold of a vendor. When we first went in for our tasting, Lulu helped us and was very sweet and accommodating, bringing us numerous cakes and other tasty treats from the bakery downstairs. I do not think the poor responsiveness is necessarily a problem of Lulu's but rather the process - I mean, I was told I could ONLY talk to her which I did not understand because she wasn't there at times or occupied!

A couple of times Americana (?) helped me out to answer basic questions and she was always very courteous. Living out of the area, I wanted to know how I could make my final payment since they did not take payment over the phone. Fortunately, I was able to send in a money order and get my cake paid for. Americana was even so helpful to call me when they received the money order. As for the cake, it looked beautiful and tasted yummy. Porto's Bakery fell short on their responsiveness, and for that reason, it's hard to recommend them in the future.

I would recommend everyone to buy their wedding cake there. We had our cake tasting with Lourdes. And she was the main person we contacted throughout the wedding.

Our wedding was delicious and pretty affordable. For <$500, we had 4 tier buttercream wedding cake with champagne ribbon trimmings with the following items, from top to bottom: mocha chocolate pudding, white lemon cream, black magic chocolate pudding, and cubano mango cream delivered to San Gabriel Hilton. They delivered our wedding cake right on time at 4pm. Everybody was talking about our wedding cake.

The only thing I wished they can do to improve their customer satisfaction is to have more varieties of ribbon available. It was hard searching around for the right size and champagne color ribbon. That would saved me lots of time (hours) that I've spent looking for the right shade and size.

Portos is one of my favorite bakeries, and having them do my cake was an utter bliss!
The cake came as part of our package from Calamigos Equestrian, but it did not affect the quality of our cake. In fact, it was helpful that it was a part of the package because I had a bit of trouble trying to finalize a cake tasting. Calamigos was able to step in and mediate to make sure I was able to get in contact with them. Karen, at Portos, is a great host and made us feel relaxed and at ease.
We ended up choosing a basic white cake with chocolate filling along with white cake with vanilla filling. We received sooo many compliments on the white cake/chocolate filling; there was none for us to save for our 1 year anniversary tradition! Although taste is more important than aesthetics, the cake was simply gorgeous. Portos was very flexible in designing a cake that was simply yet elegant.

Cake was included in our venue package. It was simple, but beautiful. The process was easy, but if you want to step outside the pre-selected styles, it will cost you. Overall a decent experience.

I was happy overall with the cake we had, but there were a few communication glitches along the way, but in the end what counts is the quality of the cake, and I had so many guests comment on the cake, so I think it was pretty amazing. I didn't really get a chance to enjoy my cake at the wedding, but I heard many positive reviews!
