The perfect DJ for your wedding

Late review, but I have to say I’m happy that I chose Mr. Huey to play DJ at my wedding. He is a go-to person if you, like me, don’t know anything about weddings. He took the time to meet with us in person before our wedding to finalize all the music choices, family introduction lists, ceremony script, etc. He walked us through everything very thoroughly, and he was always available to pick up the phone if I needed to change anything. On the wedding night, he did an AWESOME job by keeping the dance floor alive with mixes of our favorite genres (EDM/trap/hip hop) as well as playing fun remixes of classic oldies for our older family members, so everyone ranging from all ages ended up on the dance floor. If you're looking to have a GREAT TIME at your wedding, don't hesitate to book Huey as your DJ/MC! I know that he will make your special day even more special with his skill and his music.

Most lit dj/mc ever!

Huey is legit one of our favorite vendors from our recent wedding at the Bel-Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades, CA. He wore so many different hats on our wedding day - officiant, DJ, and MC.

We were introduced by my wedding planner who worked with him previously at other weddings. We told her we wanted our DJ to be someone who was lit and down to have fun (and also able to speak fluent Vietnamese!) and she knocked it out of the park by introducing us to Huey. From the start, we knew we picked the best DJ/MC for our wedding when he talked about all the raves and festivals he's been to LOL. He had so much good vibes and energy, so we knew he was the one!

He took the time to meet with us in-person a few days before our wedding to finalize all the music choices, family introduction lists, ceremony script, etc. He walked us through everything very thoroughly and made sure we were comfortable with all the details and gave us his input as well.

The day of our actual wedding, he did an AWESOME job. He was able to make the drastic switch from the person who was officiating our ceremony to the most wildin' one on our dance floor LOL. During the reception, he served as our bilingual MC for our Vietnamese family members. He was very polite and made sure each of our family members were introduced properly and kept us moving along through all of the events for the night. Finally, he kept the dance floor alive with mixes of our favorite genres (EDM/trap/hip hop) as well as playing fun remixes of classic oldies for our older family members, so everyone ranging from all ages ended up on the dance floor. One last surprise that he had for us (also my favorite surprise of them all) is that he literally brought the club to our reception LOL. He brought this huge speaker platform that you could dance on and surprised us by mixing a special DJ set for us - words can't even explain how much fun we had with Huey and dancing the night away with our closest friends and family.

If you're looking to have a GREAT TIME at your wedding, don't hesitate to book Huey as your DJ/MC! He does not disappoint and hopefully, we'll bump into him at a music festival one day. :)

Ain't no party like a Huey party

Huey had me at, "let me earn your business." From the start, Huey had tons of energy and took our wedding to another level. He played all of our song requests and we had tons of compliments on how good Huey was. If you're looking for the turn up...Huey is the DJ for you!

Awesome DJ

I first meet Huey when he was the DJ at a friend's wedding and I made the mistake of not getting his business card, even though I thought he was a really good DJ. I meet him again when he was the DJ for another friend's wedding and I took it as a sign that I needed him for my wedding. He made my reception easier for me to handle, making sure the photographer was ready for the important parts, and overall helped my wedding be unforgettable. Thanks Huey!!!

I hired Huey to do the whole shabang for my wedding: music (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception), lighting, drapery, photobooth, linen & chair rentals, and he delivered above and beyond all expectations!

Huey is exuberant, organized, super-friendly, and extremely professional. He's a perfectionist when it comes to any of his services, and he's absolutely dedicated to making sure everyone has an amazing time.

What sets Huey apart from any amateur are his strong public speaking skills, his ability to read a crowd, smooth transition between songs & different genres, and his interactions with guests.

He's the DJ that would approach each table, take song requests from any guest, and weave that into the song list you provide before hand.

He's the guy that when your guests asks to hear some Drake, he can instantly list out 5-6 of the latest hits that they'd probably want to rock out to.

He can appeal to all age groups, from my 90 year old grandma to my 3 year old niece and nephews.

Do yourself a favor and don't hire a rookie who isn't experienced with handing the logistics of a wedding.

I can't tell you how many people asked me and my husband for our wedding playlist or Huey's information after the wedding. Hands down one of our favorite wedding vendors.

DJ Huey was by far the best decision we made for our wedding! He was not only professional- but he took the time to get to know my fiancé and I and ensure that he was delivering the type of wedding we wished for! he was not only our DJ- but he assisted me in created a personalized Gobo and Photo Booth which added the special touches we were looking for. Our wedding was an amazing celebration, we danced ALL night long with our friends and family thanks to his amazing work! I would recommend DJ Huey without a shadow of a doubt! My husband, family, friends, and I can’t thank Huey enough for the amazing service he provided from day one. Our first meeting with Huey covered everything from A through Z. He asked many questions to get to know us and what our vision was for every aspect of the wedding such as intro, music, games, lighting, décor, etc. Huey’s execution was unparalleled and our expectations were exceeded the moment we walked into our banquet hall. Huey designed a stunning mint canopy with cream trim wooding and golden tassels that made a huge statement and brought out the elegant garden wedding we dreamed of. Dream, imagine, and descriptively verbalize what you want and Huey will whip it up for you (designing entrances, canopies, sweetheart table design, uplighting, pin-lighting, draping, photo-booth)! Huey’s personality is up beat, he’s comedic and very entertaining. He essentially was our day of reception coordinator too because he kept everything moving on time/on schedule/on point/on cue and helped us put together the entire agenda for our reception. He kept the energy alive throughout the reception with fun games that engaged the guests from beginning to end; he can improvise, he knows how to read the audience and his surround sound speakers are out of this world, with top notch quality sound and deep bass. His speakers can drop the bass down low to make the booties hit the flo’. OOohh-WEee and the crowd went wild and the room was lit! His music sets are very crafty and professionally put together. Everyone from kids, teens, adults, and 70 year olds were getting down on the floor. We loved the open air booth (20+ ppl can fit). A huge plus is he is bilingual (English/Vietnamese). Our guests continually rave about how our wedding was the most memorable, festive and fun wedding. Your wedding day is once in your lifetime and Huey will make sure your wedding is unforgettable. I cannot say enough amazing things about Huey. He was absolutely amazing!!!!

My husband and I needed a bilingual (Vietnamese and English) MC/band/DJ. I have been to many Vietnamese weddings and did not want to go with the traditional Vietnamese live band. It's just not our thing. We met with Huey twice over the year and communicated with him frequently through emails. He was always responsive and helpful. Huey referred me to the florist and photographer we booked for the wedding as well.

Huey was always uber professional. Unfortunately my father had a bit of a meltdown at the wedding and Huey handled it with grace and professionalism. He also stuck to his guns and his guns were actually our wishes. Huey took on the role of the bad guy so that my husband and I didn't have to at our reception. For this we are forever grateful.

Huey did all of our draping, uplighting, pinspots for centerpieces, sweetheart canopy, and our fabphoto booth. I would recommend it all. It truly transformed the entire venue. We got so many compliments not only from our guests but from the staff as well. We went with the gold sequins for the fabphoto (backdrop with photographer so you can fit more people) and it was absolutely perfect. There was always a line.

Huey was amazing at reading the crowd and playing all the hits. People did not leave the dance floor.

I cannot say enough great things about Huey as I truly feel that our wedding was so much fun due in large part to him. I highly highly recommend him.

Huey was one of the first vendors we met with the moment we started planning our wedding. Having followed his work for years, I knew that his work is unparalled and that his bilingual skills would come in handy for our Vietnamese-American guests. My then fiancé and I told Huey at our initial meeting that we wanted two things: 1) beautiful mood lighting and décor, and 2) everyone to be having fun.

What I love about our experience with Huey is the personalized service. Although he isn't the quickest to respond to e-mails, he was really good with responding to my phone calls and text. He is organized, methodical, and has a keen eye for artistic detail. Because we both have similar taste in style, it was easy for us to get along and bounce ideas.

Huey is extremely professional and well-spoken, as well as a man of many talents. He helped with the music selection and coordination of the day's events. We trusted him so much that we asked him to officiate our ceremony! And it was everything we wanted. It was lighthearted with a touch of humor. He even added an element of surprise. Our guests were laughing and crying happy tears.

The music selection during the reception was off the charts! My husband said it was like we were listening to his own playlist. Huey was so charming that many guests have wondered whether he was a family friend they didn't know about. They continually complimented us on how much fun they were having and that it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to.

Huey went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. The lighting and draping that he designed for us was beyond perfect. He helped bring our dream wedding to life and we couldn't be more grateful. Without hesitation, we recommend Huey and his team at Platinum Peaks with our highest regard.

Huey and his partner Alex did an amazing job at our wedding. They arrived early and their light and sound set up was fantastic. The best part about working with Huey was that he was able to facilitate a high energy level for our reception and he was able to maintain that momentum throughout the night (people were dancing for 3.5+hours and many wanted to keep on going!). Our guest wanted to dance, sing, mingle as soon as they were done eating. It was just an incredible whirlwind of fun!

Platinum Peaks Entertainment provided outstanding DJ services at my daughter's recent wedding in Mission Viejo, Ca. DJ Huey Le was very professional, experienced and knew how to keep the entertainment flowing throughout the reception. From the time the newly weds entered the ballroom, his descriptive comments and play by play captivated the crowd's interest for the event. His selection of dance music was calculated and measured to ensure young and old alike would enjoy the dancing. It was clear he enjoys what he does. We received so many complements about his performance from many guests. I had seen him at a prior wedding and he was our only choice for entertainment. Huey was the first vendor we booked the moment we started planning our wedding. He had previousy DJ'd/MC'd my cousin's wedding, and I was so impressed that I had to book him for my wedding a few years later. It takes A LOT to leave that kind of impression on me!

Working with Huey was a blast! We felt comfortable working with him because we knew he was really listening to what we wanted for our wedding. He was very accessible and answered any array of questions we had for him, all while remaining amiable and, most importantly, patient.

With regards to the wedding day, Huey was amazing! He was funny and charming during the reception, and we don't recall seeing a single person in their seat once Huey got the party started. You know Huey's great at what he does when he can bring out my husband (a generally mellow and easygoing guy)'s inner raver. I'd never seen my husband dance that energetically ever! Our guests still rave about how much fun our wedding was, and I say with much confidence that Huey was an integral part of that fun. There's a reason why he's so good at his job: he's got mad DJ/MC skills and is an all-around really cool guy.

Thank you so much for everything, Huey! We will highly recommend you to all of our friends and family in need of your services (and will be doing so soon)! :)

Huey is AMAZING!!! I'm Vietnamese and I needed a bilingual DJ/MC, and I am so glad I found him! He made sure everyone and everything was well taken care of. He kept the party going, and made my wedding a blast! I cannot say enough good things about him. He is easily one of the best decisions I made regarding my wedding. I wish I could've afforded his lighting and drapery because he is worth every penny he charges! Classy DJ
We first saw Huey's work at our friend's wedding and it was the first time that we thought the DJ did a classy and fantastic job! As soon as I got engaged, we booked Huey for our wedding. Huey is above all, professional. He comes prompt and in a suit, and the way he emcees keeps it classy. He recommended a few things that really helped us out; like the timing of the speeches, special family introductions, etc. Huey is an experienced DJ and will keep your party classy while getting guests to the dance floor! SO glad we booked Platinum Peaks!

It's been weeks and we still can't breathe because Huey's decor took our breath away! His style is very classy, and he transformed our hotel ballroom into the most beautifully elegant setting any bride can wish for. I am going to be completely honest. DJ Huey's service is not the cheapest, but let me tell you, he is worth every penny! He completely delivered on his promise to pack the dance floor and keep the party going.

I have been to many weddings with mediocre DJ's and emcees and could not fathom the same for my wedding. My fiance and I told DJ Huey at our original meeting we wanted two things: our names to be pronounced correctly and the dance floor be occupied and full at all times. He exceeded our expectations. DJ Huey is well spoken and has this great energy that was palpable throughout the night. It has been a week since our nuptials and friends and families are still raving about DJ Huey, telling us that they have never been to a wedding with this great of a DJ who can get all these different people from different age groups and backgrounds to occupy the same dance floor all night long. It will be your loss not to book DJ Huey and your gain if you do!

My husband and I were looking for a bilingual DJ since a huge portion of my family only speaks Vietnamese. We found Huey, who was absolutely amazing. He hooked us up with lighting, music, draping - he even supplied our chairs and decorated those!

Huey promised us a full dance floor and that's what we got. If there was a song that people didn't really respond to, it smoothly transitioned to another song that drew people back on the dance floor. We had a mini dance lesson right there on the dance floor.

We also rented the FabPhoto photo booth from them. BEST DECISION EVER. My parents hate having their picture taken, but they were at the photo booth all night! It was awesome. Even better: Everyone gets a copy of their picture. Everyone. 20 people in the picture? No big deal. Instant picture for everyone. We just got our DVD with all the photos taken that night, and they're hilarious. Totally worth it.

Huey and his team made our reception so fun. :) Thanks guys!

Huey and Robert are both such great guys! We had Robert as our DJ/MC for our wedding, and he was uh-amazing!!! Throughout the whole process, from day one, he was so kind to us and so helpful in being able to narrow down what music we wanted for our wedding. He was very responsive and open, and we had no trouble working with him at all. We gave him different genres we wanted/didn't want and what our preferences were. He came through for us in more way than we could've imagined!

On the day of, he was more than we could've asked for in a DJ/MC- super fun, entertaining, kept our guests interested while being professional and respectful at the same time. He stepped up from behind his booth and was willing to not only facilitate our games, but went to different tables and interacted with our guests, as well. It was so fun to watch him in action! When it came down to the music, he definitely delivered and didn't disappoint!! Our guests raved about him.

We highly recommend Robert as your DJ/MC!! For us, this was one of the most important vendors for our wedding since it was important for our guests to really enjoy themselves. He went above and beyond our expectations and will make your night very memorable and fun!

WOW! Huey from Platinum Peaks worked with us on our wedding and we are SOOO thankful we went with him!! Our wedding reception was absolutely FANTASTIC. We got so many compliments and a lot of people asked us for his contact info for their own upcoming weddings. Huey organized our ceremony and provided sound system for us at our ceremony as well as MC/DJ for the reception, lighting, and photobooth services. Our dance floor was packed with ppl all night. He and his team did an AMAZING job with setting everything up and keeping the crowd so entertained. So many people told us it was the best wedding reception they had ever been to and it was mainly cause of huey and his team!! We were so hesitant in what types of services we wanted to sign up for at first cause we werent expecting to spend thatmuch on decoration and what not, but honestly we dont regret it one bit!! My wife, Virginie and I celebrated our wedding on 5.4.13. We cannot tell you how much we are happy to hire Huey from Platinum Peaks Entertainment. He wasn’t just a DJ but also an entertainer. We first met him at a wedding where he was the DJ and Emcee and was very energetic. We knew we had to hire him for our wedding because he entertained the guess. On our wedding day, he assured us to not worry about anything else and for us to have fun. Sure enough, he got our friends and family out of their seats from the beginning of the reception to the end. He had games for our guess to get involved and also played music that was requested by us and our guesses. There are few things people remember about weddings beside the bride and groom; food, ceremony and of course the DJ/Music. We had lots of complements about the music and DJ. Some of our friends asked for his contact for their upcoming wedding. We highly recommend him as a DJ/Emcee/lighting. We did not use his service for photobooths since we did not want one but we saw pictures of his services and it’s amazing. Thank you again for being our DJ/Emcee and also being party of our special day. You made our day so much more and stress free.

Platinum Peaks Entertainment Dj'd our wedding back in April. Huey Lee did and amazing job. He showed up months prior for a formal meeting and was extremely professional and well dressed for the meeting. He was the actual DJ at our event as well, which we felt was important, he didn't just pass us onto a younger less experienced person. The dance floor was full all night, we received many compliments from guests about this. Huey played requested songs right away, unlike many other wedding where you request a song and it finally gets played 2 hours later. I would highly recommend Platinum Peaks Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ.

my lighting was awesome. Loved it. Wish i could afford everything he does like dance floor with monograms but it was just to expensive. It was definitely worth the money for uplighting totally sets the mood.
