Mike and Christy were all of the above! I could not have asked for a better DJ! They were professional, organized and personable! They were our favorite vendors to meet with during the wedding planning! They played the perfect music that set the mood in the beginning and had everyone dancing the night away by the end of the night! Our reception ran smoothly because of them! I am so glad that they were apart of our special day!:)

Mike and Christy (Platinum Beat DJ) are two of the sweetest people I have ever met. They really care about making your day special and I don't just mean with the fabulous music. I had a couple family issues on the day of my wedding and I will never forget how Christy stepped in and took charge.....not because I asked her to but because she could see I was uncomfortable and she wasn't going to let anything ruin my day. It meant so much to me just knowing I had two these two on my team.
Back to the music...haha I had so many people tell me they loved how the music flowed together and how there was never a dull moment. I am not stretching the truth at all when I say the dance floor was NEVER empty. I'm not talking one or two or five people dancing.....I mean the dance floor was packed during my entire reception. So to end I must say that because of Platinum Beat DJ, my wedding was a party people will never forget. :)

I, along with my HUNSBAND, Dwayne, want to thank Mike and his wife Christy Daugette McCormick for doing a fantantic job as MC and DJ at our wedding. Mike did great job of not only DJ-ing our reception but also coordinating it. He controlled the flow of the event and kept everyone informed of what was going on (especially our photographers). He also had some great ideas for the reception itself. Mike really listened to what we wanted for or event, what we wanted and just as important what we didn't want. We were so thankful to have Mike as the DJ for our wedding. He and his wife were so sweet and professional. They were truly a pleasure to work with. Mike was very well-prepared and walked us through every step of planning how we wanted our reception to run. We got so many compliments about him, too. The guests were really impressed with how well he managed calling attention to things, such as a the cake cutting. He was very organized, which helped the entire reception move smoothly. He was a lot of fun, and he's a huge reason why our reception was so great!

Mike and his wife were both so friendly and easy to work with. Love Mike and Christy with Platinum Beat DJ! They are super professional and really take their time to figure out what music you want for your wedding. My husband and I have really different musical tastes and Mike and Christy made it work. I thought the music was perfect. Their playlist was truly my dream list without me even telling them everything I wanted to hear. Mike was also a great MC and was informative for the guests without being intrusive. Mike and Christy were wonderful to work with. When we met with them we told them that it was important for us that our guests have a good time and for everyone to dance. They played music that kept everyone on the dance floor and guests raved about the wonderful time they had. They also reminded us of certain things that needed to be done throughout the reception, which was very helpful.

Mr. Mike McCormick did an outstanding job as DJ at my son and his bride's (William Davis and Teia Twilley) April 23, 2011 wedding and reception. His wife was also most helpful in lining the wedding party up for their introduction at the reception. We couldn't have ask for more wonderful professionals than Mr. and Mrs. McCormick! I highly recommend them for all your wedding/reception/party music needs. Mr. McCormick is also a wonderful photographer! The photos he took were posted on my website---due to my not being too computer "savvy", I erased them, and didn't know how to get them back. I emailed Mr. McCormick, asking him to email the pictures to me again. He did better than that---He put them on a CD and mailed them to me so that I can have prints made! He went "above and beyond" to accommodate me. He and his wife became like family to all of us. We will always consider ourselves lucky to have made their acquaintance. Mike was great. He helped us plan out the ceremony and reception as well as reminded us that certain things needed to be done throughout the reception. The music was great and the transitions were fantastic. Couldn't have asked for better!

Mike and Christy were an absolute pleasure to work with. They stood by their word and made our wedding night absolutely spectacular. Everything from the setting up, to the lighting, the announcements, and the music was handled professionally and glitch free. Their music equipment was stellar and our quiet little museum in Fayetteville was definitely rocking to the beats to American and Indian music.
