I LOVE Planning Elegance! I hired them for my fusion wedding about 9 months before when I was a wreck! I thought I could do all the planning by myself because I knew what I wanted and I REALLY wanted to plan MY wedding MY way, I thought that hiring a planner would take the control too much out of my hands.

...I was totally wrong! As I became overwhelmed, one of my bridesmaids recommended Planning Elegance to me, she used them for her beautiful wedding. We contacted a few other too, but Mili from Planning Elegance got back to me the fastest, she answered all my questions, and was SUPER patient when my fiance and I were making the final decision on whether we should hire a coordinator or not.

After hiring Mili and her company, I swear I was SOOOOOO much more relaxed! She had check-off lists, an organized to-do list by month, spreadsheets, and budget suggestions that made my life of wedding planning/working as an accountant/being engaged A LOT easier. I got to make all the decisions without any of the research or stress, she didn’t force me into anything I didn’t want, but she gave me options for everything so that I could choose what I wanted.

On the wedding day Planning Elegance was impeccable, they were seriously the first ones at the venue and the last ones to leave. Me, my husband, and our families had an amazing time and our guests kept complimenting us on our coordinators. Planning elegance stood out to us against other wedding planners due to their speedy, kind and personal response to our initial inquiry. Amy Patel called us almost immediately in response to our initial inquiry. She made a great impression on us with her warmth, consideration, and patients. She offered us help in negotiating with our venue before we hired her, yet she was not pushy in making us decide on her service. Our decision was made at that point and we had no regrets!

We were assigned Mili Shah as our main coordinator and Pinita as her assistant coordinator. At first we were anxious ... Could there be someone as kind and efficient as Amy? What can we say ... They all are perfectly amazing ... Wedding angels. I still can't get over how professional, organized, and detail orientated they are. They helped us plan our California wedding while we were in Connecticut and Arizona. We met Mili only once, one month before the wedding and went through endless emails and phone calls, and the wedding was flawless ... Not one hitch. Mili is very diligent and excellent! In addition, she is very personable, understanding and compassionate. She helped recommend vendors to us without being pushy and always soothed our nerves. Mili, Amy and Pinita planned detailed vendor meetings for us. We threw Mili a few last minute curve balls such a change in engagement photo shoot, ordering items within days of the event, and calling the photographer immediately for early wedding pics and she made it happen no questions asked. We saw and spoke to Mili more than anyone else at our wedding. She is so hands on, she personally got my bouquet to me, got me water when I was thirsty, food when I was hungry, made sure I was having fun at the wedding. She tied all loose ends to make it all come together perfectly. Most importantly, guests complimented us on how professional and excellent she was!

Without a doubt Mili and her team at planning elegance is our number one vendor recommendation. Trust us ... She will not let you down! and it was sad to say good bye at the end.

Absolutely fantastic!

Amy, Mili, Shivani, and the ENTIRE Planning Elegance team were instrumental in making our wedding absolutely perfect! There were no complaints from anyone involved in wedding planning, and nothing but compliments from ALL of the guests at the events about their work.
They made everything run smoothly and most importantly ON TIME!
They were always professional timely respectful and most importantly they were all personally invested in making sure our wedding was exactly what we had imagined.
Their work did not end with the wedding either. They sent us a packet with information on how to change my name for Social security, DMV, passport, etc.

They do an excellent job with their work and make the entire process of wedding planning MUCH easier, but most importantly they are wonderful people.

I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them to anyone getting married.
We still have guests 6 months after the wedding raving about what a great job they did.

Where do I start?
I'm not even sure how I came across Amy, but am so lucky that I did. I had a fusion Hindu-Christian ceremony, and could not have pulled off the event without her.

Just a few words to describe her:
Professional, Unbelievably Organized, Calming (and brides do need someone that lets them know everything will be ok, haha,) Persistent in dealings with the venue and other vendors, and her Follow-Up is impeccable down to every spreadsheet and document she provided. She did all of this while maintaining her pleasant demeanor and shared her abundance of knowledge in wedding planning and events...well, I can go on and on, but to say Amy was a great addition to my vendors would be an understatement. She went above and beyond what I expected and handled every situation with finesse. Both families as well as myself and my groom were so happy with her and will recommend her to others without hesitation.

She made the days up to the wedding run smoothly and the grand event go on without any hiccups.

To say the least, she was one of my unofficial bridesmaids by the end of our beautiful day and while it sounds silly, I will miss our calls and meetings tremendously...so much that I am trying to get her to extend her services of wedding planning to baby planning as well :)

Planning Elegance was a blessing to work with. Amy’s hard work, time and dedication in planning our perfect day will never be forgotten. She worked hard in making sure my vision was portrayed exactly as I had wished for. On the day of, Mili, the head coordinator was always on top of things. She was there to handle every little problem that occurred. Our day passed by so smoothly that we never even realized the night was over. All our family and friends enjoyed the event and could not stop complementing the perfect coordination we had throughout the day. My MOH could not believe she had no responsibilities since Mili had taken over so many of her tasks.

Overall, handling an 800+ Indian wedding is NOT an easy task and Planning Elegance made it possible. My Big Fat Indian Wedding could not have been possible with Amy , Mili and their wonderful team!!

I think that planning elegance did a good job with planning the event. I had a three day traditional wedding and each day was planned out incredibly well. I also thought that Amy did a good job contacting vendors and making sure they had everything they needed. However I think the days of the event lacked a good job with day of coordination. I needed the planner to a little bit more assertive to direct people. I also spent nearly double my budget and I think that this should have been addressed when provided vendors to choose from. Overall I believe that the service I received was truly what I paid for.

We had Amy start helping us several months before the wedding. She kept us on track so that we had everything organized on a timeline. She was always easy to reach by phone or email and even in person! She helped us coordinate the vendors; our hotel coordinator was please with how prepared our vendors were. On the day of the wedding, it was and cold outside and she moved the wedding indoors without any delay in our wedding. Our friends and family have told me that they were so impressed how our organized our event was and that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. We were impressed because we had so much fun at our own wedding...We would highly recommend Amy and her team.

My hubby and I set out to do what seemed like the impossible - a Hindu wedding, a Sikh wedding and a reception all in one day and at two different locations. We knew we would need help aside from family to keep the day from going haywire. We had met a few coordinators before I met Amy. My connection with her was instant as her warm personality, her strong work-ethic and her commitment to her job shined through in our first meeting. We had a vision on how we wanted to see the day play out but that meant we needed to be extremely detail oriented and work with someone who could understand what we needed - Amy was that person.

Amy was always available to us by any form of communication at any time of the day. She never pushed us into choosing any specific vendor and always provided insightful suggestions. Luckily for us we had Amy's entire team on hand on the day of the wedding and they were able to flawlessly work with our fabulous vendors. We and our families were able to enjoy all of our events without worrying about any of the details.

Amy is a true gem - her dedication to her job and her clients is evident from all the events she has coordinated and the many long lasting relationships she has maintained. We are so fortunate to say that not only can we call Amy, our wedding planner; but a new lifetime friend.

Planning Elegance - and in particular owner Amy Patel - was essential in making my wedding day an amazing success. We hired Amy about 8 months before our big day, and although our venue was already secured, she gave us great recommendations on DJ's, decor, linens, and bridal beauty services. Amy helped us evaluate our proposals and negotiate the best price with our vendors. Her expertise in South Asian weddings and the ceremonies and unique rituals associated with them was essential. Amy is very organized and kept us on task with booking our vendors and making key decisions. On the day of, Amy and her staff kept everything running smoothly and as a result, the event was a huge success. People are still talking about our wedding almost 2 months later!
