Upon planning our wedding, my Bride made the compelling argument that we should hire a good photographer. After all, we were traveling from our home in California to our home away from home there in Hawaii along with 100 of our closest friends and family for the happiest day of our lives, why shouldn't we? After a long thorough search through via various websites including Yelp and many other various wedding sites, we came across Pineapple Staircase. We checked out a lot of Chris' previous work on his website (which was really impressive), as well as stalked his instagram for a week or so and knew he was the photographer for us!
We contacted him knowing they also offered the BigAss Camera Photobooth and if you're putting on a wedding, you gotta have a photobooth right? Just check out the photos of the BigAss Camera! It's such a cool and unique photobooth and we knew we made our choice. Upon contact with Chris, he setup a time to call us with a "meet and greet" type conversation to get to know us and what we were looking for. He is a funny dude and really personable, and is not afraid to share ideas but is always listening to what YOU want. We left the conversation very comfortable and happy with our decision to book Chris & co for our wedding.
Fast forward to our week of, we flew in and scheduled a brunch with Chris to go over things, and the guy seriously couldn't be nicer. We discussed the layout of the wedding, and a couple mimosas later and it was like we were old friends. On the wedding day itself, Chris and co arrived on time, professional yet super fun, and Chris snapped photo after photo after photo. Definitely wasn't overwhelming in the least either, very chill and really blended into the background to photograph not only us but the entire party, EXACTLY what we wanted.
450+ photos later and we couldn't be happier with them! The real deal here is Chris and his lovely bride to be. They are insanely cool to work with. Awesome people who do an awesome job!

User2604726 Sent on 05/11/2016Our photographer for our wedding ceremony was Chris Laistler, and he was absolutely incredible to work with! The photos he took for us are so stunning. He was very enjoyable, had a wonderfully positive attitude. He did not rush us or make us feel uncomfortable in any way. He listened to our ideas for photos and also did some on his own which all came out beautifully!!! We got all of our photos, all edited, by the time we got back from our honeymoon. He is a great guy, really personable, and is not afraid to share fun ideas while at the same time always listening to what you want. We can't thank him enough for his work! Not only were we impressed by the pictures, but everyone we show them to can't stop talking about how wonderful they look!
