Chris does an amazing job. He has been the photographer for both of my sister's weddings and my uncle's wedding. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Working with Chris was one of the best experiences my husband and I could have possibly had on our wedding day. Not only was he willing to work with us on impromptu photos at the wedding, but he was willing to schedule more pictures with us afterwards at a later date. We had a wonderful time working with him. We had so much fun at the engagement photo session we are looking forward to working with him again.

Chris was flexible and willing to work with us to set up a payment plan that worked for us. He did a great job taking photographs and making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Chris, himself, was very pleasant and professional to work with. His services were beyond our expectations.

Chris was very nice to work with, and he helped create a package that fit our budgeting needs. We appreciated Chris' easygoing nature and lack of "hard sell" approach. Most of the pictures Chris took are lovely. In the several months since our wedding has passed, my husband and I have come to realize that a few pictures that we wish had been taken were not actually taken (e.g., the bride with her immediate family). My husband and I got so caught up in the moments that day that we lost track of the individuals with whom we had posed, and I wish I had realized that day that the photographer never took a picture of me and my immediate family. It also took us some time to hear back from Chris on inquiries (e.g., as long as 1-2 weeks), and our final cd pictures arrived 2-3 weeks later than expected.

We couldn't have been happier with the service we received from Photography by Christopher. Chris really made us feel at ease on our wedding day, it was nice to have someone who was able to read our emotion and personalities. Our pictures turned out wonderful, really captured some great moments which we will cherish forever..Thanks again to Chris..

Chris was great he is very easy to work with and has lived up to his word. Our wedding pictures are great and the engagement session was too. He was very quick posting the pictures to the web so we could view them. We have not gotten our albums yet but Chris has only had our picture selections for a few weeks. There were so many great pictures we had a really hard time deciding on what to include so it took us a while but we met with Chris and he was able to help us with that also. Our only not great rating is for responsiveness, we sometimes found it difficult to get in touch with Chris, he was occasionally a little slow to respond, we found that our best way to correspond was through email and once we did that everything was ok. Overall we highly recommend Chris.

Chris was GREAT! He was very professional and yet also very fun to work with. We felt at ease and it really shows in our photos! He was really able to capture the feeling and fun of our wedding day.

Chris was absolutely wonderful! When we first had our consultation with him, he made us feel like his friends and he was the only photographer we met with - we knew then! The day of the wedding, he didn't miss a thing. If something was happening on one side of the room, he quickly came over to catch it. Our wedding party had so much fun working with him as well. His work is absolutely amazing and I look at our pictures at least once a week. We are recommending him to everyone we know!!

Christopher is an amazing photographer. He was very helpful and patient with my husband and I. From the start we were unsure of many things and money was also an issue. He took time out of his day to meet with us and throughly go through all the details with us from the album we wanted to helping us decide what package best fit our needs. He never once tried to sell us anything to up the price. Photography by Christopher was the first place I called and the last place I knew at the end of our meeting he was the right photographer for my event. Chris and his assistant were at my mother's house right on time and started getting shots right away. He was very fun yet very professional. He was incredible at remembering everyone's name. (not sure how he does it) The shots were beautiful and amazing. All in all I would recomend him for any job. He does exceptional work and am so glad we chose him!! Thanks Chris!

I would recommend Photography by Christopher for any event or photography needs! Chris was beyond excellent in all aspects possible. We had originally scheduled our wedding photos for 5pm and that day the clouds showed it was going to be a challenging day to try to beat the rain. I called Chris and expressed my concern that we may be facing a downpour and he dropped what he was doing and met us with 10 minutes at our scheduled picture site! He got some amazing shots and was nothing less than completely friendly and accommodating. I really liked that he was constantly seeking our input and he was always checking to make sure that we got certain poses or shots of the decorations that we would make us happy. Chris is a real down to Earth person and I hope to hire Chris for future events. I have met with photographers that are ego maniacs and rarely seek the input of those they are hired to work for, but Chris is nothing of the sort and I suggest if you want less stress especially for any bride that is worried about capturing certain aspects of their perfect day, book Photography by Christopher and you'll get all you expect and MORE!

Chris is a talented photographer, and he's extremely easy to work with and makes the most of his time with you on your day. He's extremely responsive to your needs and suggestions to capture your most treausred memories.
That being said, his responsiveness does leave something to be desired after your event has passed. The delivery of our framed portrait was timely, the proof cd was not quite as prompt, the parent albums took a bit longer than expected, and our wedding album has yet to arrive (the wedding was 10/03/09). I know that if and when I get it I will also enjoy the moments that were captured in it, as the photos on the dvd are great shots.

On behalf of myself, my husband and my entire bridal party and family, I would just like to say that I could not have asked for a more professional, and courteous photographer. With all the chaos that a wedding day brings, Chris Hockensmith was a calming force and quickly put everyone at ease. He not only captured traditional shots beautifully but provided me with lifelong memories that I may have missed on such a busy day. I have already begun referring Chris to all future brides and families I know with upcoming events. !!!!
