It's not necessarily the quality of the work of this company that's bad, as much as the insidious customer service. Starting with the husband, with a self righteous, passive aggressive condescending personality that proved too much to bare towards the end of the engagement session well after the checks were cleared and contract signed so there was no going back.

-After the wedding pictures were posted online about a week later, he changed the password setup, which was supposed to be by maiden name. I expressed that my maiden is no longer logging me in. His response was to question whether or not I knew the basic fundamentals of computer literacy. After "checking" he realized he had capitalized the password, when the log in asked for it to be lower case.

-Then there is the album. My wedding was in May, my album photo selection was done in August,I was told it would take 2 months (to this I say do not give customers certainties if you have no clue). At the two and a half month mark I sent an email inquiry, 5 days later I get a reply saying " We are hoping to have the album in hand within the next couple of weeks", that was on 11/15/2011. Christmas and New Years came and went no album. on Jan 7th I get an email from liz saying the album has been shipped directly to me. That's with no carrier information, no tracking #. I emailed a week later requesting this information. No response. Today is February 6th, 2012 not only have I not not received a reply to that email from a month ago regarding the tracking number, but they have yet to return any calls from my husband and I in the last week.


PLEASE do yourselves a favor and go with someone else, and there may not even be that much of a of price difference if any, but going through what I am now with these horrible people I would've gladly had my wedding at a local park to have true professionals to deal with.

Liz and Rob take absolutely fabulous photos, and are a joy to work with. Their painstaking attention to detail and desire to get the perfect shot were what stood out to us the most. They were so conscientious that we felt like our wedding was their wedding- they took it that seriously. We would highly recommend their services to anyone.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with Pereda Photography. They cancelled their service the day before our wedding and did not even call to tell us - they sent an email instead. Though they did find a replacement photographer and a relative as the backup, only one was a professional photographer and we had paid for two professional, certified photographers for the most important day of our lives. And the replacement photographer obviously did not know us, know our style or what pictures we desired. We did not get several pictures of family members that were on our list of required shots and they only took pictures of 4 of the reception tables out of 25 tables and Rob and Liz had promised to take a picture of every table.
Then Rob and Liz didn't contact us after the wedding to apologize or offer any consolation for cancelling at the last minute. I had to contactTHEM about the status of our gallery after 4 weeks went by and we hadn't heard a word from them. Our photos were then not posted online for 8 weeks (though the contract said approximately 3-4 weeks). Once I asked them for some discount after all we'd been though, Liz got extremely defensive and unprofessional. They offered nothing in return for the lack of sufficient services we received. Then after waiting for several months for our album to be finished, we were also charged way more for extra album pages than their documentation stated. We tried to work this out and they just had tons of excuses and we paid the full amount they wanted just to give in and get our album asap. Then we were told we would have to pay extra for the higher quality digital negatives that could be printed in sizes larger than 4x6. The contract stated we would receive the rights to the "high-resolution images" after the wedding. I do not think printing only in 4x6 or smaller is considered "high resolution." We never got one consolation or discount for all the ways they really broke our contract.
Overall it was very upsetting that the vendor we had the most confidence in, disappointed us the most. Very unprofessional. The only positive thing I can say is that they did a nice job with the album design.

One of the worst experiences ever and I do not recommend to anyone.

Here is what happened:
2 weeks before the wedding they told us they could not be our photographer and subcontracted the photos out to someone else, it was for a family emergency apparently so we tried to be as understanding as possible and just move on. They hired a photographer and an assistant to do their work however, which if you paid for 2 photographers (a husband and wife team) that's what you expect. The reason we chose them is because of their chemistry together and my wife wanted two people.

During our pre-wedding meetings we told them how we wanted our wedding day photographed, one person with the bride, and one with the groom. They replacements worked as a team, but they assistant was just helping most of the time. They only showed up to shoot me (the groom) and stayed for about 10 minutes before leaving to go back and shoot my wife. They missed all the shots of my dad, brothers, groomsmen and me. I had less than 15 shots before the wedding of me. Dont get me wrong, I understand that the Bride is the most important part of the day, but it proved difficult to build an album when there were so limited shots of the groom pre wedding.

the photographer and her assistant took some pretty good shots albeit they weren't what we were expecting.

During the reception they photographers left to eat together with a meal we provided. One of the photographers was supposed to be in the room the entire time. when you are paying over 3 grand, you expect them to be there for every second.

They sent us an invoice for another hour longer than the photographers were there for, saying that our reception lasted longer then they claimed.

The album was a nightmare. Here is an email:

After subcontracting our photographers out, they subcontracted our album out too. And when i say it looked like crap i mean it. When we saw the digital design of the album I was shocked, I have seen better albums constructed by a 4 year old. The prices on those albums are outrageous, and one would think that by paying such astronomical prices you would get a beautiful album (not a 10 page - 40 image - piece of poo). This incident broke the camels back, I told Rob I would design the album and send him what we wanted in a PDF format. After receiving our album from the Pereda's I decided that my wife deserved better and went to an online book/album design (A&Ibooks) and gave her a 140-page book with over 300 images for less than $200.

Bottom line - they are more con artist then photographer/designer.

Rob and Liz were wonderful. We enjoyed working with them and would recommend them to others. They were friendly, fun, and easy to get along with. Our wedding guests also enjoyed working with them. Our wedding was during Isabella, they were on time and did a great job!

They did a fantastic job with capturing our special day! They were very professional and sincere. Their quality of work is gorgeous!

When we had our first meeting with Pereda Photography, we knew these photographers were professionals, had an artistic eye, and worked well with our personalities. During the whole wedding process, Pereda Photography communicated with us effectively and promptly! (At times even at 11 pm on a weeknight!) They worked with us to find the right wedding package to match OUR budget. They interacted superbly with our other vendors, and it was something we did not think about, our vendors needing to work together.

Overall, besides their amazing personalities, professionalism, flexibility, responsiveness, attention to detail, and quality of service we were so elated about the end product, our wedding day photos. We had a minor issue with the wedding party photo-op area; the security guard did not let us in where we had planned to take photos, even though we had permission. Pereda Photography handled the last minute issue with such professionalism & creativity that we were still able to get wonderful photos. Our photos captured the liveliness and emotion from our special day!

After the wedding, we were fortunate to have an in-studio session with them to choose photos for our wedding album. This was a necessary session, I never thought it would be that important but once we got to the studio and viewed the images on a large screen it was. We were able to view images, choose the frames for the print images, and create special frames for our home. (12 images in two long frames) All these things would have been so challenging to do from our home computer because receiving the professional feedback really helped us design our wedding album and print frames. We are creative and design, but when it comes to our wedding photos, we felt we needed to rely on professionals.

So from the initial meeting to the in-studio session, Pereda Photography exemplified professionalism, creativity, and superb service. The value of their service is excellent! I recommend Pereda Photography because they are fantastic photographers, but also caring and wonderful people!

The Pereda's were a lovely couple to work with and took beautiful pictures of the wedding. The only thing my husband and I would have done differently was allowed more time for portraits in between the ceremony and the reception - we ended up running short on time and not being able to get as many photos at the reception hall as we could have liked. Other than that we are very pleased!

Liz and Rob are amazing. Words cannot describe how happy we are with our photos and our album. They are so easy to work with and one of the sweetest couples out there. Thank you so much for helping us remember our wonderful day!

Liz was the first and only photographer that I actually interviewed face to face. She was so cheerful and helpful over the phone and I felt like we clicked right away when we met. She and her husband, Rob, were so great and captured the moments that I didn't get to see, as the Bride. Their photography is so impressive with the different developements they use. They were extremely helpful over email and quickly got back to me on any question I had. I wanted to hang out with them! You will not regret using them as they captured the day beautifully!

From the first moment we met these awesome artists and couple, we loved their work, character, personality and effectiveness. It is important to find a vendor that has flexibility during all the plans and decissions for such important event )since it always changes...trust me) Pereda photography not just gave this but also, ideas, referrals, and great comfort. We were able to see hard copies of samples of their work and they reflect artistic skills, spontanity, high level of experience and beauty. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
