Paul was wonderful to work with! He was extremely flexible and able to easily go with the flow -- yet make sure that every little moment was captured. I felt he was transparent (I've seen too many photographers consume way too much of the bridal couple's time -- so was extremely happy how efficient Paul was in getting the shot and moving on to let you enjoy your day!). I felt Paul was like two photographers in one -- he not only captured the posed shots, but would take pictures of everyone around you and capture their candid shots while posing you into position all at the same time (I swear he didn't miss a beat!). His pricing is unbeatable, the pictures turned out amazing, and our wedding album was more than I could have imagined.
What you get hiring Paul over other photographers is the small things that make such a big difference. Great examples, although just a few, are that he gives you rights to all of your pictures on a cd (so you have your own copy of every single picture he takes of your wedding and are free to do with it whatever you choose -- which for my wedding was approx. 3,300 pics!), he sets up a laptop at the reception of pictures he just took of your ceremony for your guests to enjoy, and he sends an email to any interested guest of your wedding pictures so they can see them firsthand online and have the option to directly purchase any of the pictures through him (taking any leg work of playing middle person from the bridal couple!).
I am an extremely anal and very finicky person who took months of researching any given vendor when making my choices and let me tell you -- I can guarantee that you will be extremely happy should you choose to hire Paul! He did such an amazing job with my wedding that my sister is hiring him for hers!

I would highly recommend Paul Retherford Wedding Photography to anyone. He did a wonderful job at our wedding. He was extremely easy to work with, very professional, and responded quickly to any questions we had. Our wedding pictures are absolutely amazing and the photo album is gorgeous. We had a lot of fun working with Paul!

Paul was AWESOME...I tell all of my friends who are planning weddings to check him out. He's done three different weddings that I've been a part of and he was so much fun. He definitely plays off of the wedding party to catch some really awesome shots. He offers the perfect amount of posed photos and candids that make for a beautiful photo album. Speaking of photo albums...BEAUTIFUL. His flush mount albums are awesome because he incorporates so many images through layering and such that they really are unique to your day. We went with those for the parents and a traditional album for ourselves; we were 100% satisfied with the finished products and hope that other couples have the chance to work with him.

Paul was able to capture every aspect of our day. The pictures are amazing and our friends and families were so impressed by the variety of pictures and the professionalism presented by Paul during all of the parts of our wedding. Also, our wedding album is great and something that we will treasure for the rest of our lives!
