Pattrapon was the one and only place my bridesmaids and I came to look for their dresses! There was a great variety of designers, price points, fabrics and dresses and the owner made the process so easy. The dresses were ordered immediately and arrived exactly when she said they would. A number of bridesmaids live out of town, which was no problem, as the dresses were sent promptly upon arrival. I wish I bought my wedding dress at Pattrapon!

Buying my dress at Pattrapon was a pleasant experience from my first visit to my last fitting. I had tried on dresses at only one other store--David's Bridal--and it was a madhouse! In contrast, during my appointment time, it was just me, the store owner, and my Matron of Honor. The atmosphere was quiet and calm, the selection was good, and the prices were reasonable. I was able to buy the floor model of the dress I wanted for a 10% discount.

When I arrived at the store, I flipped through their book of dresses, flagged dresses that I liked, and the owner set them up in the dressing room for me. She also brought out a few additional dresses, based on my style preferences, that she thought I might also like (and she was right! ). I found "the" dress within the first 20 minutes or so, and then instructed her on some changes I wanted (i.e., no sash, no train). I was very pleased with the alterations she made as well.

If you want a pleasant dress-buying experience, from start to finish, I would **highly** recommend Pattrapon.

I bought my dress off the rack in Texas and needed to get my alterations done locally. Pattrapon was recommended by a friend, and worked out beautifully. As a dress shop, I was worried that she would say no to alterations since I didn't buy my dress there, but she didn't mind at all. Most of the alterations were pretty straightforward, but when I asked her if the back could be lowered a couple inches, she didn't blink. She was also very creative in finding a way to secure the dress to my bra. The cost for all the work was really reasonable, in my opinion. I would definitely recommend Pattrapon to a friend (actually, I already have!).

I went to three stores before deciding to buy my dress at Pattrapon. It's a small space and there seems to be only one person working there, but that's what I liked about it: there weren't a ton of people fussing over me. She offered opinions when asked but wasn't at all pushy and mostly left me and my mom and best friend alone to make decisions on the day I was trying on dresses. I also really liked the fact that she didn't mind my friend taking pictures of me in various dresses so I could look at myself later as I was making a decision (some of the stores I went to didn't allow you to take pictures of the dresses!).
Despite the small size there was a large collection of dresses. I ended up with a Maggie Sottero. It was a complicated dress that bustled in eleven different places, and she patiently wrote out all of the directions to bustle it and took pictures of me in the dress to use as a guide on the wedding day.
She always had the dress ready when I showed up for appointments and was great about keeping it for me until right before the wedding so I didn't have to store it at my house in the middle of a move.

Pattrapon was great to work with. I had been to several other (larger) dress shops, and did not receive the same patience, honesty and down-to-earth treatment that I received from Pattrapon. I agree with the reviewer below, that I appreciated Pattrapon's matter-of-factness so much more than the "mushy-gushy" store attendants at the larger stores - she was great at assessing what my sense of style was, and what would look the most flattering on me (without fawning over every dress I tried on telling me it looked fabulous....when it didn't). Her selection is great (especially the Maggie Sottero line, which I wound up going with) - and she was also very accommodating in finding a dress that fit in my budget. The dress I finally bought was actually the sample dress I tried on which was in impeccable shape, and which she sold to me at 10% discount. The dress fit me perfectly, only needing a bustle and bit of hemming - which she turned around for me in less than a week (when I forgot to bring the dress back to her for the alteration until 2 weeks before the wedding!!). :) She also gave me a great discount on tops for the bridesmaids (Eden Maids), and wound up providing the alterations for one of my friends who needed it let out quite a bit - and she did an amazing job with that (also with a quick turnaround).

First off, I loved my dress. My sister picked it out of the book that was at Pattrapon and I got so many compliments on our wedding day; it's a Maggie Sottero that's never been really popular, but it is stunning and gorgeous. Love. My husband thought I looked absolutely beautiful and told me that it was me. That said, dealing with Pattrapon was easy, but in retrospect I feel a bit annoyed. The annoyance comes at the tail end of everything; Pattrapon decided not to charge me for the bustle (which is great -- one hook and eye and a button shouldn't cost much anyway), but I don't think she sewed in the cups I asked for; I'm small-chested so it wasn't a big deal and my bridesmaids made sure I was held in, but it's the principle of the thing. Also, I believe that the bodice needed to be taken in; it was huge on me and the end result was (I think) a shoddy-looking corset back. I had no alterations done because with shoes and a full crinoline the dress was good on length, but I also got the feeling that she wanted to spend as little time as possible on the dress. Maybe the dress was that low maintenance and I should just shut up and be grateful, but I just feel as if the dress needed some tweaking. She's a very nice woman, but I can't shake that feeling. Pattrapon has a great collection, though, so it's possible to buy there and just get altered elsewhere; I'd say see what her assessment is and then make a decision.

Pattrapon was great to work with. She had a great number of dresses to try on and accessories. I was able to find my perfect dress all thanks to her!

She worked with me to alter my wedding dress. I kept losing weight and was getting frustrated because I liked losing weight but not having the dress not fit snug. She was always willing to change and came up with easy ways for my bridesmaids to do the bustle and very creative with getting certain details to work.

I loved my experience at Pattrapon. The owner was great to work with--she even helped me pick out my gown after she saw me try on dress after dress. The prices were reasonable and she even cut me a deal on the bridesmaids dresses. I also had my dress tailored there and I think she did a great job--and not too expensive!

I was pleased to find Pattrapon and find there a dress I'd been seeking for some time. This is a smaller shop with a great selection and a very knowledgeable, helpful, owner. The owner (whose name is Pattrapon) is very matter-of-fact and patient in her demeanor, which is very professional and not so mushy-gushy as some of the dress shops. It was a good fit for me.

My dress arrived on time and was fitted well. The price for the alteration (which in my case was just the hem) was very reasonable. Nice selection of veils too. Highly recommended.

I bought my gown at David's Bridal but heard not great things about their alterations process. I took my gown to Pattrapon on the advice of a neighbor. She has a lovely bridal shop with lots of sample gowns. She did my alterations for less than several other places in the Silver Spring area I had checked out. Alterations done included bodice work (with beading), hemming and bustling. I would highly recommend her both for alterations and for gown shopping. She also had many accessories (veils, jewelry, shoes) etc, maids gowns and MOB outfits.

The dress turned out beautifully and she was great when my nerves got the best of me about the shoes! She was very attentive to what would look great on me and my sister and her friend...we all got our wedding dresses here!

Pattrapon offered my bridesmaids wonderful, one on one service. She was very patient with each of my friends. I took my maid of honor with me when I chose the bridesmaids' dresses and they had many to choose from within a reasonable price range for everyone. I went into the store with a few of my bridesmaids whenever one of them had a fitting appointment and each visit was a pleasant and wonderful experience. Other stores I went to did not offer the patient, friendly service that Pattrapon offered, I'm glad I chose Pattrapon for my bridesmaids' dresses because my bridesmaids were my closest, dearest friends. I wanted them to have a good experience for the whole preparation time and Pattrapon never disappointed us, she always gave us excellent, patient customer service.
