We LOVE Paradise Pictures!!

Jay and I got married on a VERY popular wedding day and Eric made us feel like we were his only couple of the week.

We got rained out for our pre wedding photo shoot and Eric happily rearranged his schedule to meet with us the following morning.

On our wedding day, he arrived early and stayed a little bit longer than scheduled to capture our first dance of the night.

Not only was Eric's customer service just great, he does AMAZING work. We are so beyond pleased with our pictures. They are absolutely beautiful.

We highly recommend his services for any event you may have in St Thomas!

To me, the most important service in a wedding is the photographer. Photographs last a lifetime, so selecting the right photographer to capture my special moments was crucial. My husband and I did alot of research on Eric Johnson/ Paradise Pictures. Everything that turned up, we liked! Eric has a very creative way of capturing the beauty of a single moment - we knew he was the one who was going to bring out the best in our wedding! From the start, Eric was great to work with - very personable and easy going! The day we were scheduled to shoot our pre-wedding photos, it poured! Eric called me first thing in the morning and assured me everything was going to be ok - we could reschedule for the day after the wedding (which was only 2 days away). He said the next day was going to be the same- rainy, but for my wedding day the weather was going to be perfect. (I think he said that to comfort me in case the weather wasn't that great.) He was right though, the weather was perfect! Eric arrived before we did and was taking pictures as we started to come in. The moments he captured of us and our wedding party were truly magical - straight from a magazine! The post wedding shoot was just as effortless with Eric! Not only did he photograph us, but he also educated us on how to position a photo shot in order to utilize all of the surrounding elements. Working with Eric was great! And now with all of the photos in front of me, I am so thankful we choose Eric to capture all of those moments!! Memories that will last a lifetime! If you are thinking about having a wedding in the Virgin Islands and you need a photographer, EJ is your man! He's photography at its best!!!

As being a model & photographer in the past I am soo picky with pictures, after hours/days of searching online for the perfect photographer that fits our style and the type of talent and quality I am expecting---I am so happy that we picked Eric! We only had a few hours in the island (we were on a cruise) for our ceremony and he was very professional, talented and personable! We were all so comfortable right from the start! I arranged everything last minute but he was still able to fit us in his schedule and produced AMAZING shots in such a tight time frame! (My main profile pic is a current sample of his work!) Eric is Phenomenal and our pictures are Amazing! He provided quality photos that truly captured the essence of our day. He was consistently professional, reliable, and personable. I enjoyed his online portfolio, but after meeting him I knew he had the personality we were looking for. (Any vendor with a bad attitude is contagious and it will show up in your pictures... the only memories you'll still have when others fade away) We valued friendly and flexible just as highly as quality of product and got more than what we paid for. Now Eric and his family are new friends of ours and we are glad to have them be apart of our special memories.

EJ was our wedding photographer, and he was wonderful. Not only was he incredibly nice and easygoing, but he knew *exactly* what he was doing - something you just can't be sure about with other photographers. Wedding pictures were really important to us, so we decided to go with one of the more "professional" photographers on the island even though he was also one of the more expensive. For the added cost (which was really only $100-200 more), you're guaranteed someone who knows how to capture perfect images and knows how to make you look good. That's priceless, and it's well worth the money - especially if you're going to one of the most beautiful locations on the planet.

We received our pictures on CD within a couple weeks, along with a nice link to a private website where they were uploaded just a couple days after our wedding. Overall, we couldn't be happier. If you're looking for the best photographer on the island and want to make it easy on yourself, EJ is the one.

A special Thank you to EJ for our wonderful wedding pictures. Its been almost a year and we still get excited while looking through our album! EJ was extremely professional and fun to have at our event. We had some specific photo requests (of certain people) and he was able to get everyone. We are honored to have EJ’s prints hanging in our house!

Choosing a photographer for our destination wedding was a very important decision and we could not be happier that we chose Paradise Pictures. EJ was absolutely amazing on all levels and exceeded our expectations. He has a wonderful personality, great communication, was impressively prompt and is incredibly talented. We were lucky enough to have EJ shoot our wedding ceremony this past July on Magens bay. He was phenomenal! The quality and color of the pictures is beyond any wedding photos I've ever seen... and he's a really nice, easy going guy that just tried to stay outta the way and get some beautiful shots. Our family and friends were blown away! And he got them posted online for everyone to view in just a few days! I would definitely recommend paradise pictures and EJ to any couple looking for a great photographer in the Virgin Islands!

Simply Amazing. I was just married last saturday (May 15th, 2010) and we booked EJ for 3 hours, part at the hotel, part at the site, and finished up at the reception. All I wanted from my wedding is for my guests to be happy, and to have amazing pictures. He fulfilled every wish I had that day. I got a copy of my pictures yesterday in a link form and I will have the disk shortly. The pictures turned out so well, that here, less than 24 hours after seeing them, I had to write a review. He's so relaxed and doesn't make you feel like you're posing. It's simple and breathtaking photos from start to finish.

This is coming from me, who can find nothing good about a photo of myself, and I couldn't find one that he took that I didn't like. I can't speak for other people in the area, but I wouldn't have traded EJ for the world.

Outstanding work. He really made my day that much more special. I now have incredible pictures that will hold better memories than my mind can ever recreate.

The price is well within reasonably and honestly, for the quality of his work, I would have paid even more than I did.

Photography was the one wedding service I really cared about getting right, and Eric was amazing. He was very responsive and flexible, his photography was gorgeous and he got all the shots we wanted (posed and candid), he was unobtrusive, and his prices were very reasonable. He went above and beyond; he waited in the bar until we had our first dance so he could take pictures of it. He was very nice.

Eric was great to work with and took beautiful pictures - exactly the type of photography that we were looking for.
