Opulent cakes provides such amazing value and great tasting cakes! They were able to provide so much more than I thought I would get for my budget, and it was beautiful! People raved about the grooms cake, and the brides was amazing, too! Donna was great about our last minute addition of 30 additional slices. They were fantastic! My only complaint is their hours are kind of sporadic so you have to make time to visit.

Opulent cakes exceeded our expectations! We ordered a four tier white chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse that was to die for! We knew right away after our first tasting that they were the one for us! We recieved so many compliments from our guests! We were eating leftovers for two weeks after the wedding, and the cake stayed moist and delicious the whole time! Our cake was made to look like lace with 2 fondant bows, brushed with a pearlescent dust. The design of the cake was gorgeous and we could not have been more pleased! It looked exactly like the picture from a magazine that I brought in to copy! Prices were very reasonable and overall we were very happy with our decision to use Opulent Cakes!

We purchased both our bride's cake and our groom's cake from Opulent Cakes. Their cakes are delicious and they're able to custom design anything you'd like for a good price. My only concern is they are very difficult to get ahold of. I would call and not get a returned call for weeks. If you try them out and fall in love with their cakes, keep in my you'll need to be a patient bride when it comes to communication!

We picked Opulent cakes to do our wedding cake in Oct of 08. We loved our tasting with her, and she seemed ready and willing to complete the cake as we asked. We did not make a final decision that day but called her later in the week to tell her what we wanted for the cake (after trying to reach her a couple of days) At our wedding reception... my mom had to pull me aside before we walked in to tell me that the flowers we had ordered (and paid for) put on the cake were not there. She told me the cake was still beautiful just not what we had expected. When we cut into the cake we realized that there were not 2 different layer flavors like we had requested. Again... the cake still looked beautiful and the cake that was there tasted very good. I would still have given Donna a good review...except... After the wedding my mother contacted Donna to get a refund for the amount of money we paid extra to have flowers put on the cake. Donna said that she would get a check in the mail. My mother waited... and waited... and waited and still no check. Donna would not return her phone calls. My mother could not go to the bakery because she lives out of state. It was not until I called the bakery stating that I would be there the next Saturday to pick up the check that we finally got a response. I received a call the next morning with a message... not from Donna, but from someone else...stating that the check was put in the mail. It is a shame because we had really liked Donna and we liked her cakes but her lack of professionalism after the wedding makes me want to warn others! Just be wary that you may not get what you want!

Donna was great. The cake would melt in your mouth. Each and every layer was different and the guest were talking about how great it tasted. I saw some of the guest sharing with others so they could try the other tiers. It was great seeing people enjoying the cake. We showed her a picture that we found in a magazine and told her what we wanted to change it to make it our own, all the while she said no problem. The only thing we we were disappointed about was the flowers were suppose to have navy centers, and the the cake was suppose to be cotton candy pink and it was more of a white pink. That really wasn't her fault I should have brought her a piece of fabric so she could have seen exactly what I wanted. I would suggest that if you really want a color cake take her a piece of fabric to her and she will make it happen. She is wonderful I would recommend her to anyone. I knew after meeting her everything would be great. I spoke to four other cake people before choosing her. Hands down she was the one, no need to look anywhere else. She made us feel as if we were the only cake she had to make and we had nothing to worry about. In addition to our cake she made us a small fake top layer cake so we will never forget what our beautiful cake looked like. Thank you again Donna your the best and made our day very special.

Opulent Cakes did an excellent job on my cake. All the guest truly enjoyed the white chocolate and starwberry cake. We took the left over cake home and tasted great for several days. I plan to keep using them for several other occasions. The staff is friendly and always smiling.

My fiance and I were very impressed with the quality of the cakes - the taste was wonderful, the delivery was timely, our consultation visit was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the cakes did not LOOK like what we'd wanted. We provided a "mock up" of what we wanted - made a model out of styrofoam forms and paper flowers - so that the baker would know precisely how we wanted the flowers arranged on the bridal cake. Sadly, the model was of little use. Also, my fiance provided multiple images of what he wanted his cake to look like - it was supposed to be a "Death Star" from Star Wars. He was very disappointed in the results.

my cake turned out beautiful! it was just shaped a little different that i was expecting, but it was still beautiful! we rented a chocolate fountian from there also and it was so much fun!
