I didn’t know what I was looking for when I first started looking for hair and makeup. My hair never holds a style, and I’m very novice at doing my own makeup. So I was looking for a team that would make me look incredible and also be cost-effective for my bridesmaids. I went through several vendors and narrowed it down to two. Then randomly Onsite Muse came up in my search, and I fell in love with their style. It was very vintage and very pin-up girl. And I LOVED it. I couldn’t wait to get in for my hair and makeup trial. Shaina was my stylist, and I freaking LOVE her. She was so easy to work with, especially when I had to reschedule my wedding and trials twice due to the pandemic.
She listened to my concerns about my hair not holding a style, and she worked off my 8 billion inspiration photos for both hair and makeup. Let me tell you...Shaina is a magician! I looked AMAZING! I’ve never felt so beautiful in my entire life. She placed my hair extensions perfectly, and she taught me how to put them in on my own so I can get my money’s worth with these expensive extensions! I didn’t look like I was caked in makeup, and I looked like a more glamorous me. -

I highly recommend Onsite Muse to any bride. Shaina did a beautiful job with my long hair, even weaving in some spare flowers the florist gave us! She's also so funny. We had a great conversation while she did my hair. Elly did my makeup and wow! She is every bit an artist. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my makeup, but I knew I wanted a more subtle look. She looked at me for a second, and then said, "I know what I'm going to do." She took all of my unique features into account and made me feel like a princess. And she is just so sweet and nice. People kept saying I looked beautiful and I couldn't help but rave to them about the Onsite Muse team that made it possible. I thought their prices were very reasonable, especially considering the beautiful work they do. I kind of hope I have another opportunity (wedding, photoshoot, etc.) to use their services! Again, highly recommend them! -

Onsite Muse, Indeed!
Teanna was my makeup/hair artists through Onsite Muse, and I can't thank her enough for the stunning vintage look she created for my wedding day. She did an incredible job with the inspiration photos I sent her in advance. The airbrush makeup application remained flawless well past our event, and my hair stayed gorgeous for several days afterwards. As someone who rarely fusses much with hair or makeup in everyday life it was nice to feel beautiful and still look like myself on my special day. Teanna arrived promptly, despite massive amounts of snow, and was personable and funny throughout the whole process. I highly recommend Onsite Muse! -

The ladies who came to do hair and makeup were absolutely amazing. We all felt like the most beautiful version of ourselves. And when we needed last minture wardrobe help, Mollie and Darlene were there for us!!! Such a blessing. -

Linnette Sent on 06/04/2017My wedding was 1920's inspired, but still contemporary. I had a big wedding party, including my mom, step-mom, mother-in-law and flower girl. We also needed to be ready by 2:30pm. The Onsite team was so responsible, diligent, on time, and did an amazing job with our hair and makeup. I was planning my wedding in Minnesota all the way from Virginia (where I reside), so I didn't had the time for trials; that made me a little nervous, as I heard so many bad stories of people who don't do trial runs and end up with bad results. However, I was so fortunate to have found this girls, we all looked so beautiful and polished! Kira worked with all different kinds of skin types and tones in our wedding party (some of us were Hispanic, and I had girls with Caucasian skin tones, one Asian girl and and Afro-Latina), so it was important to have someone who knew how to work on a diverse skin group. I'm also very picky about who does my hair and makeup, so I had high expectations, and they where all met and exceeded! Shaina did a great job with our hair, I brought hair extensions (clip ons) as my hair is thin and fine, and she made my hair looked so voluptuous and natural. They also made time to do hair and makeup on some of the girls who decided last minute they also wanted their services. The girls where so sweet, and so kind and patient with their time. My mom was not completely content with her hair, and she told the girl who did her hair, and she was so nice about it, she didn't acted awkward or offended, she happily redid my mom's hair, until she was happy with the result. They set up such a happy energy in the room, I'm beyond grateful I found this girls, I fully recommend them, you won't regret it! -

After having a terrible trial run at a salon in town, (who charged a HUGE travel fee to go onsite,) I went with a friend's recommendation of Onsite Muse. They were able to schedule me last minute and from the moment I touched base with my hair/makeup stylist (Kira McCarty,) I had a great experience. I was very nervous because we didn't have time for a trial run, but, she was very knowledgeable, and put me at ease. She showed up on time,and my hair and makeup was perfect! I loved the airbrush makeup and went with individual lashes (at Kira's suggestion) because I had never worn lashes before. My wedding was a Great Gatsby style and my finger-wave hairstyle was amazing. I didn't know I could look so glamourous. Everything was included and there were no upcharges. I am so glad Onsite Muse was recommended, they are great! -

That being said, I’ll offer a few words: My experience with this amazing group was nothing short of spectacular from the planning all the way though to the final event. The perfect blend of kindness, compassion, skill, and astounding talent surpassed all possible hopes and expectations. Kira really listened and took interest in the overall sense of the wedding and was able to create a look that reflected it perfectly. Then she did the impossible: Kira McCarty transformed my hair into a beautiful updo that withstood 30 MPH wind gusts! The whole team worked magic with the bridal party and made all the girls and my mom look and feel beautiful. I cannot recommend this group enough. They are a gift to any wedding experience!

User982354 Sent on 10/21/2012Kira McCarty of Onsite Muse was our makeup artist and she was absolutely fantastic. She did a run through with me (and my mother) about 6 weeks before our event where we played with different colors, techniques, etc. We ended up doing full airbrush makeup, which was fantastic. I cried throughout my entire ceremony, but my makeup still looked flawless throughout the night. She's also fantastic with eyes!
Kira is also extremely professional. It took me a few minutes to get used to my makeup on the day of, but Kira made sure that I was absolutely 100% comfortable (and ended up making a few tweaks) before she left.
She's also just a joy to work with. She was so calming on my wedding day. When everything was a whirlwind around me, it was so nice to have someone who was so calming.
