  Exquisite Wedding Gown from One Fine Day

  Our daughter came from Tampa to find that perfect wedding dress. Within an hour of going into One Fine Day, she said "Yes to the Dress," a fitted dress with exquisite lace, beading, and a sophisticated design. While form-fitting, it was also full of movement as she danced on her wedding day. The staff and bridal consultants were attentive and matched my daughter's energy perfectly. They also helped us find the perfect veil, as well.

  Amazing Day

  I am a plus sized bride and had a lot of anxiety about going shopping for a wedding dress. I’ve heard a lot of horror stories of judgmental consultants and stores not having a large selection. First before even walking in, the mannequins in the windows were a mix of plus size and “normal”. I walked in and the consultant, Alex, was at the counter ready and waiting for us (we were there 20 minutes before our appointment). As soon as we walked in she sat us down and we talked about wedding details and I showed her dress inspo pics. Alex sent me to a dressing room and left my entourage on the couch and started pulling dresses. All of them were definitely something inspired by the pictures I showed, and she took feedback with every single dress and found the perfect one. She was so patient, we were there for 2 hours and there wasn’t even an ounce of rushing or impatience from her. She never once even acknowledged that I was plus size or made me feel insecure about anything. Alex was amazing and gave me an experience I never thought I would have at a store that isn’t geared towards someone plus sized. Thank you for everything, Alex. Moving onto the store, it’s beautiful, there’s so much space, and it just helped make it an amazing experience. I would recommend ANYONE to go to this store and if you can get Alex she will go above and beyond to make your day special. (Pictures to show but all not “the dress”) oh one other point of note, my wedding isn’t until 9/2024 and they will let me store my dress there until I need it and let me take it out for alterations and bring it back as needed, which is also a huge bonus, too!

  First Dress try on - dream dress!

  When you book an appointment with OFD they claim most brides pick the first dress they try on in the store - I was skeptical but they are right!!! Even though i tried on 4-5 dresses after my first, I knew it was my dream dress. Comfortable, and perfect for me. My experience at OFD was more than I could have asked for.

  The Best experience

  Seriously love this place! I made an appointment to try on bridal gowns at One Fine Day and I happened to stop in a few weeks before to ask if I could just look around. I was welcomed with open arms by Autumn. I showed her a few pictures of the gowns I liked and she personally walked me around the whole boutique and answered all of my questions. I showed her a gown I was really in love with and it was a little more than I was wanting to spend but looking at all of the other beautiful gowns I knew I had to keep my appointment because I could not wait to try them on. I came in for my appointment a few weeks later and again was greeted like I was family. I had the pleasure of working with Emily. Talk about a sweetheart! We tried on a few gowns and I wasn't getting that "feeling". We finally decided to pull the dress I could not get out of my head. I put it on and we instantly knew it was the one. I had no problem spending the extra money on that dress because of how beautiful it was and also how I was treated within this boutique. I never once felt any pressure to buy anything. After saying yes to the dress I was measured by Autumn and we shared lots of laughs. I felt like we had been friends forever because she is so friendly and you can tell she truly cares about every person who walks through that door. Today I went back to look for accessories during the Super Sample Sale and once again Autumn and her team went above and beyond to help. She actually remembered my name from a few weeks ago when I bought my dress. That really impressed me. Plus I love that fact that her mom helps out there! I can tell where Autumn gets her big heart from just from the few times I have met them. I would recommend this place to anyone on the planet. I am proud to be a One Fine Day Bride and help represent such a wonderful local shop! Love Love Love!!

  Beautiful and amazing

  I absolutely loved my visit with One Fine Day Bride! I had Lexi helping me with my dress and she didn’t amazing! I was amazed with how she helped me pick a dress that best fit me and made me cry. While checking out with my dress, the other girls were so sweet. Compliments all over! It was a beautiful experience.

  Memorable experience with friendly staff who guide you in the right direction

  I really truly enjoyed my gown shopping experience while visiting my best friend in Fort Wayne. I didn't even intend on buying a dress that day, I just wanted the shopping experience with my BFF. When you find the right gown though you just know, and thanks to the girls helping me in the shop I did! They gave me styles I originally thought I wanted, but soon guided me to the style best for my shape and next thing you know we're in tears and I said yes! I went to a few other shops afterward for accessories and to be honest, some places had an aura of arrogance that One Fine Day did not have, they really made my experience special. I was living in Germany at the time and they were so helpful from start to finish; it took about 5 months to get my dress made and they let my bff handle everything. They communicated through e-mail very easily too! Thank you for everything!!

  Gabby was so amazing with me! She was so patient with me and the people I brought with me. I did not feel any pressure to something I did not want or like! By far my favorite place to look/buy a wedding dress from! 😊

From the fall scented candle that aromatized the air, to the sleekness of the wood flooring and racks of organized dresses, I was instantly impressed with all the boutique had to offer. I had the pleasure of working with both Autumn and Gabrielle. Gabrielle assisted me during the dress try-on process, and Autumn helped me with alterations. Both women, along with all of the sales associates that I encountered along the way, were extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. The day of my wedding I received so many compliments on my dress, and I can truly say that I have never felt more beautiful. Thank you One Fine Day for making my wedding dress dreams come true! I will recommend you always.

  Couldn’t be happier to have done business with these women!

  Share my experience... how do you share an emotion that is unexplainable to most but is the magic that these women weave. ❤️. First off...they understand and know their business and get what it is to serve a community that they are very obviously proud to be apart of. But in a world that would surprise you to get a smile, or “have a nice day” from the barista down the road, they are always happy and welcoming to the families that walk through their door. No matter how many times! No matter what the reason! They understand the business they are in and live it.. they get the emotion of the mothers, daughters, aunts, grandmas, and sisters that they are meeting that day and share your elation for this special time you all are experiencing in your lives. It’s not about something so common and mundane as costumer service, even though that is truly hard to find in this day and time... but they truly want their bride and families to understand that they get it!!! They get the love and emotions you are feeling... the good, the apprehensive, the worry, the love... they are experts at it! They LOVE what they do! They LOVE that they can be involved in this emotional time in people’s lives, And the LOVE their dresses and can’t wait for you all to fall in love with one as well. I cant day enough about our experience with these wonderful loving women who live their passion and want nothing more then to share it with you and your family! Alex you are a beautiful example of a confident beautiful woman, and made my daughter feel like she could wear anything she wanted as she put on dress after dress with your guidance. She felt invincible! ❤️. Gabbi watching your journey as a bride excited us and inspired us to live in the moment no matter what ❤️. Autumn.. you set out to follow a passion you have (something my zookeeper daughter would know a thing or two about) and you NAIL it everyday! I can’t say enough about you and the team you assembled. it’s your mission to empower women to love themselves and feel beautiful on one of the most important days of their lives. It’s a feeling I know many take with them through their life and marriage. Kudos to you ladies! I only wish you sold laundry detergent, or dog food or something like that so I could have an excuse to shop with you every week!

  This is going to be a long review so grab your popcorn. The only reason I found out about this store is because my car broke down in the stop light near their store. Limping my car into the parking lot broke, 4 hours away from family and just moving to Ft Wayne for a job I naturally had a mental break down thinking how I would never have my life together enough to wear one of their gorgeous dresses let alone get married. Fast forward 2 years later freshly engaged I demanded that we go to this bridal shop even though my wedding would be in Chicago. I took 6 of my greatest gals and had the best experience of my life. I had also stalked Autumn and Gabby on Instagram so seeing them in real life seemed like I was meeting stars. I had fallen in love with a dress that I had seen on Autumn and it was also the first one I picked off the rack! Alex was my consultant and her and I hit it off right away. This place made me feel at home immediately. We loved it so much my mom wanted to come back to get her dress. When my mom ended up having a problem with her dress they went above and beyond to help us solve the problem. During alterations these people made me feel like no question was a stupid question and they would do anything to make me feel comfortable. Not only that every time I visited they would FaceTime my mom who wasn’t in town and talk to her. My mom and I felt as though we could have had a bottle of wine and made life long friends with these wonderful ladies. This review may be long and ramble on but seriously LOOK NO FUTHER FOR A WEDDING DRESS SHOP. They are truly amazing people and do whatever they can to make your special day EVEN more special.   Experience just like on TV

  
  I purchased my AMAZING wedding dress from One Fine Day almost a year ago. Just this past Saturday I finally got to wear it. It was perfect! Timeless and classic-Essence of Australia D1975 . Brittan was my stylist and she did a great job! I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Autumn. I just love a small business and also love women business owners! The salon itself was perfect! Clean. Pretty. I had tried on my dress at a different salon in Toledo but didn’t like it because the sample was dirty and the salon was unfriendly and dirty. When I came to One Fine Day the staff, dresses, and location made the experience so much better! It made traveling to Fort Wayne so much easier!

  I couldn't be more impressed with the team at One Fine Day. I grew up in the area and always knew that I wanted to get my bridal gown from them, even after moving out of state.   They had my dream dess

  I never thought I would cry over a dress but this was it - tears and all. I was able to purchase the floor sample of this dress for considerably less than the original asking price. Allison was incredibly helpful and kind when I bought my dress during the summer of 2017. Being from Florida, I was worried about shipping but it was reasonable and when the dress arrived it was in perfect condition! So thankful for this business.

  Everyone at One Fine Day was so nice and helpful. I originally went there because they were the only ones in Fort Wayne who carried Hayley Paige, but I’m so glad I got to work with these ladies! My dress was covered in sequins and form-fitting, and the alteration team did an amazing job making it fit perfectly.

  My dress was beautiful and their staff is exceedingly helpful and flexible. I would definitely recommend visiting them for unique wedding dresses and a pleasant experience. After following many of the pictures posted on Instagram of their dresses, I just had a gut feeling that I would be able to find " the one" in this salon. The second dress I tried on stuck in my brain throughout the whole appointment, and I knew I had found my dress! Autumn was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process by listening to what I did and did not like about each dress and making appropriate changes to the things we had pulled. I would highly recommend going on a weekday because we had the entire salon to ourself. Overall, I could not find one bad thing about the day!
