Having my wedding reception at the Olde Mill Inn was an easy decision. The lobby, library, and courtyard are the perfect backdrops for pictures and video. The ballroom is so beautiful it barely needs to be decorated! The stunning grounds, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff make guests feel welcome upon arrival. John Leitz, our Maitre D’, could not have been more accommodating. During the planning process he made himself constantly available and made final preparations easy! During the reception everything was taken care of so my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy the party! John was constantly checking to make sure our every need was met. He even personally got me a plate of food that I missed during cocktail hour. My husband said the service made him feel like a celebrity! The food was delicious and the bartenders were not stingy with the alcohol! Our guests raved about the clean and luxurious hotel rooms. I cannot say enough about the staff at the Olde Mill Inn; housekeeping, waiters, bartenders, and especially John Leitz made our wedding day everything we dreamed of.

I recently had a Saturday night wedding with 175 people at the Olde Mill Inn. I cannot say enough good things about how my wedding turned out. I never pictured an indoor, winter wedding but once we saw the venue we couldn't imagine doing it any other way. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays and had such a warm, cozy ambiance for all the guests. We had Marien as both our wedding coordinator AND our Maitre D the night of. She is absolutely wonderful. Sometimes when I was feeling stressed, Marien was the person that would make me feel the most calm. She went over every detail with us multiple times so that I never felt unclear of what was going on. She never got frustrated with my millions of emails and questions. During the wedding, she checked in with us a lot to make sure we were getting everything we wanted out of the experience even up until we went back to our room where she brought us all the things we hadn't gotten to try during the wedding. I even had guests comment on how great she was. I have had a lot of guests already tell me it was one of the best weddings they had been to, how great the food was (it was! yum!), how much they loved there rooms, and overall how beautiful the venue was. I would highly recommend the Olde Mill Inn to anyone looking to get married in the area!

My husband and I just had our wedding at the Olde Mill Inn on NYE in the Washington Ballroom. We had 200 people and there was PLENTY of room. There was even a flat screen TV for the ball drop! Everything was amazing and exceeded our expectations! The service was fantastic and every person we encountered went out of their way to help us. We started the wedding planning with Lindsey Smilie who answered every single question we had, and usually it was within hours of us writing to her! When it was time for our tasting, we had awesome service and we were walked through each and every part of the night in terms of food. Once it got closer, our Maitre D Marien, contacted us for our final walk through. Marien is AMAZING!!! If you can request her, do it, she will take care of everything. We went through every single detail and when we didn't know the answer to a question, Marien was there with an answer. She took care of everything the night of the wedding and even our guests noticed! They commented on how smoothly everything went and how Marien was on top of every detail! At the end of the night, Marien came to our room with Champange, strawberries, and lots of food from the wedding in case we didn't get to taste it. All of our friends said that this was one of their favorite weddings! We would 100% recommend The Olde Mill Inn to anyone considering having their wedding there!

I knew the moment i saw the Olde Mill inn and walked inside that this would be a beautiful place to get married. My husband and i totaly fell in love with the venue and all the staff! Once booking our wedding they were so accomodating! Everything from the beginning went perfect. I really cant say enough about the olde mill inn! We got married Dec 30, 2012 so the holiday decoration was goregous and we were lucky enough to have snow on the ground for outside photos! We had our ceremony inside and it was so romantic and intimate! The food is to die for, they give you so much during the cocktail hour- especially our favorite the mashed potato bar! All of our family and friends continure to rave about it! If you are looking for a venue that will exceed your expectations and have a better wedding then you picture in you head, this is the place for you! We loved the Old Mill Inn! Marien Barker was our coordinator and did an amazing job. The staff of the OMI could not have been nicer. The food was amazing and the service excellent. The hotel was such a beautiful setting for the reception and for the guests who stayed over. Our wedding day was more than we could have dreamed! The picturesque and cozy Olde Mill Inn exceeded our expectations in every way! Everyone was extremely helpful & accommodating making our guests feel comfortable & welcomed! Our maître de Marien was amazing! Marien was extremely knowledgeable, confident and experienced which made us at ease! Our guests are still talking about how great the food was at the OMI and what a beautiful venue! We can't wait to attend another wedding there!

The Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ was the perfect setting for our wedding and ceremony! The accommodations are on-location as well as a beautiful wedding reception venue and ceremony courtyard. There is a lovely "after party" site, The Grain House, in walking distance of the hotel across the parking lot. Our guests were in awe of the attention to every detail, outstanding food, and service. How often can one say that an event EXCEEDS expectations; ours clearly did! You will be delighted with your experience!

We had our entire wedding at the Olde Mill Inn from the ceremony to the reception. Our sales person was Marien Barker and she was absolutely amazing. She sat us down and we went through every piece of information from start to finish and she didn't let us walk away until we understood everything that was happening. We booked the venue in early 2012 and the wedding wasn't until 10-13-12. During that time, she quickly answered any emails I sent, returned any phone calls I made and would generally reach out to me if she didn't hear from us in a while. She was very attentive. I was thrilled when I found out she would be our Maitre D. We even planned our rehearsal dinner at the Olde Mill Inn because she was so easy to work with. Everything from the rehearsal dinner all the way to the reception went perfectly. There were no major problems and most of the issues, Marien handled right away. We even had special forks for our cake cutting which we both forget to tell the servers about. Once that was done, they took the forks thinking they were ordinary banquet forks. I contacted Marien 2 days later to tell her that we didn't get the back. She had the whole staff looking and they actually found them and returned them wrapped in tissue paper with a pink ribbon! I couldn't believe it. Besides that, our friends and family have told us it was the best wedding they have ever been too. They are still talking about the food (which was so amazing!) I would tell anyone to have their wedding there if they could. The Olde Mill has 2 rooms. The main ballroom for large wedding and the Grain House for small weddings. Both have outdoor ceremony sites and they even have back up plans in place for rain.

OMI was amazing it couldn't have been a better wedding Lindsay Stewart is amazing and took such great care of us! Food is delicious and the service is just beyond comparison. Thank you for making our big day the best day ever!!!! <3

John is THE maitre d to have. Even my mother, who was stressed about him executing every detail of the wedding and setting up all of her decorations and things JUST how she wanted them, had to admit it came out just as she'd hoped - and even better. As the bride, John was incredibly accommodating - him and his staff made sure I had whatever I wanted to eat, whatever I needed to drink, and even helped me with my bustle before going into the cocktail hour. I didn't even have to go to the bar for a drink the entire night. The ceremony was outside in the courtyard and was gorgeous - especially with the Christmas lights in the tree lit up. Him and his staff made sure everything was brought up to our room after the wedding, including leftover cake and desserts. He even made sure to bring my mum's dinner up to her room when he saw that she was so nervous she couldn't eat during the reception. Plus, we had a little "incident" with a guest of a guest, which OMI handled very delicately to the point that very few other guests even knew what had happened. They were complete professionals and I would whole-heartedly recommend them.

I can not say enough good things about my entire experience with the Olde Mill. From my first interactions with Lindsey to finally getting to work with our Maitre D John I had such a welcome feeling. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous in every aspect of the wedding planning process. Our wedding was beautiful and we couldn't have done it all without the help of everyone at The Olde Mill.

5 stars is not enough! this place really truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect from start to finish! Our Maitre D’ Marien Barker was a doll ! She helped me every step of the way even doing things beyond her role !The entire staff at the Olde Mill Inn was amazing! We had both our rehearsal dinner & wedding there & the service as well as the food were impeccable. They put out a spread meant for royalty, the highest quality & so much of it & might I say very reasonably priced! We highly recommend The Olde Mill Inn & will be using them for future family functions! All our guests can't stop raving how amazing everything was & how it was the best wedding & venue they have been to . Some even spoke of booking the venue themselves! When you hear that from everyone guest makes you happy & 5 stars is not enough!

The Olde Mill Inn Grain House was the perfect location for our wedding! From the initial inquiry to the day of, everything was perfect. Lindsey and Victoria were fantastic wedding planners and I knew the wedding would be perfect. The food was absolutely delicious and the bartenders are even better! The adjoining hotel was amazing for our guests as well. I highly recommend this wedding venue!

We recently had our ceremony & reception at the OMI. The venue is beautiful, all of our guests were able to stay at the hotel, and we couldn't have asked for better service. Our maitre'd, Marien, was phenomenal - she took care of every single detail, making sure we had nothing to worry about, and kept us happy throughout the entire event.

I had my wedding at the Olde Mill Inn this summer, and it was absolutely perfect! Everyone who works at the OMI are wonderful people and true professionals. They could not have been more accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure all of our guests had a wonderful experience there. Working with John as our Maitre D was such a huge reason why everything went so smoothly on our actual wedding day. Leading up to it he was extremely responsive and helpful. He could not have done more to make sure every last detail was taken care of - and let's just say I had A LOT of little details :) The night of our wedding he took care of my husband and I, and made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing. The food was great, the ballroom looked beautiful, and we were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather so we could enjoy the outdoor courtyard. I would highly recommend the OMI and could not have been happier that we chose it as our venue.

The whole place is beautiful and the food is fantastic. Our Maitre'D was extrememly attentive and we did not want for anything that night. I want everyone I know to get married there!!!
