Occasions is a beautiful site for ceremony and or reception. When we visited Occasions, we thought it was perfect for us. The garden is intimate and the reception area is perfect for small to medium size weddings. The staff was great to work with and worked with us to reach our price limit. They are very professional and friendly. All of our guests loved the food and venue.

Our wedding ceremony and reception at Occasions far exceeded our wildest expectations! Audrey O'Connor and Jennifer Aguilar (wedding coordinator) were absolute gems to work with right from the start. The venue was recommended to my husband and me by a friend that DJs weddings. We took one look at the site, and from the charming 1920s beauty of the interior to the lovely garden, gazebo and koi pond, knew without a doubt that this was where we had to have our wedding ceremony and reception. In addition to the charming setting, the food (catered by Audrey and her staff) is amazing, with pricing that offers lots and lots of bang for your buck. Audrey's background with a local, high-end catering company shows through in every item on their menu. Delicious-- and far better than the food at many of the region's other high-end venues. As our coordinator, Jennifer was invaluable at confirming and coordinating the details with all of our vendors. She was also a great help in offering suggestions and ideas for our ceremony, logistics and reception. In fact, I would leave meetings with her with several new items added to my 'To Do List'! All of her creative ideas really enhanced our overall experience. By the time our big day rolled around, we had nothing to worry about, and everything went off smoothly, thanks to their experience and professionalism. I wholeheartedly endorse Occasions as a unique and beautiful wedding ceremony and reception site, AND Audrey O'Connor and Jennifer Aguilar for their professionalism, experience, and commitment to each and every one of their couples!

We had the best wedding at Occasions! The staff was friendly, efficient, and unobtrusive. The food was fantastic. Without a doubt our wedding could not have been better anywhere else.

When we saw the exposed brick wall inside the Occasions dining room we knew the place was something special. The garden area with its white lights was perfect for our cocktail hour. With 130 guests it was cozy, not crowded. We had minimal decor which brought out the character of the venue. The food was amazing, the service, professional. The undivided attention we received from the staff was great – we felt like royalty. At no point in the evening did we feel any stress. We enjoyed every minute. And so did our guests. We received multiple compliments on the food and the charm of the place. Thanks Occasions for our wonderful reception!

I found Occasions LA by accident when my mom forwarded a list of LA-area garden wedding sites. We visited a few times and booked in February 2008. Ultimately, we had our 20 Sept 2008 wedding there. The venue is BEAUTIFUL. The reception area easily accommodated our 100 guests; it's original 1920's construction with exposed brick and crown molding and a full wall of french windows (you save on flowers because this place is so freakin' pretty!). The garden - where the ceremony takes place - is also great; it's all twinkling lights and tall trees for an evening event. The food is AMAZING. We're still getting compliments today. The staff is professional, courteous, responsive, and experienced. They accommodated every desire we had. Included in the price for a wedding is a day-of coordinator who will make sure all the vendors know where to be and when to be there, and who runs the show at the rehearsal and the day-of. Stephen & Audrey (the owners) are darling people who clearly enjoy what they do! Anybody planning a small(ish) wedding (~100 people) would do well to work with Occasions LA!

Occasions is THE place to hold your wedding/event. Stephen and Audrey make the whole planning process very easy. The food was innovative and incredible! Our guests are still talking about how yummy the food was. The coordinator they supplied made everything look amazing and ran the whole event without a hitch. Everything looked so beautiful.
