The music was great and was so fitting for every part of the reception. They did their job wonderfully and just let the music run the event.

Kim of No Macarena is a breath of fresh air after attending so many weddings with sub-par DJs. So many guests complimented our music selection and even the volume (which allowed some guests to chat while others danced). I'd highly recommend Kim and No Macarena.

Kim from No Macarena was amazing! I was a little concerned since my venue had two separate areas for eating and for dancing so I thought it might be difficult to get people up on the dance floor. Boy was I wrong! We spent most of the night dancing with everyone and anyone. The dance floor was so packed that I saw a lot of people dancing in the corners of the room having the time of their lives...haha. It was such a fun wedding and a lot that had to do with Kim. She picked such great music and I heard almost everything I requested at some point during the evening. She was great to work with leading up to the day as well and very quick to respond which I really appreciated. Thanks for everything!

We had Kim from No Macarena at our wedding and she was great! She came early and help set up the acoustics for our ceremony (we had an acoustic guitarist.) We got married at a non-traditional venue, and I appreciated that Kim was flexible with this. There were a few moments in the evening when I wasn't thrilled with the transitions or wanted the music to play sooner, etc, but that was more an issue with the venue than with the dj i think. overall i recommend this company

Dave Beck was the DJ for our wedding. What a great experience we had! We wanted music that would appeal to a very wide range of people (we had kids and grandparents at the event). The dance floor was occupied all night long! We also wanted Indian music as well and Dave was very accommodating. One of the highlights of the night was a spontaneous "dance off." Dave just went with the flow! If you want a true professional who does his job with a smile on his face - Dave Beck is your guy! Thanks Dave!

We were lucky enough to have Kim DJ our wedding, and let me just say, she could not have been more perfect! She was absolutely wonderful to work with - incredibly friendly and very professional! We discussed our musical interests a few days before the wedding, and she worked her magic to make our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception AMAZING! She was able to flawlessly provide music for our outdoor ceremony, barn cocktail hour, and pavilion reception at the John James Audubon Center without missing a beat! At some point in the night, my husband and I noticed that there were only about three guests sitting at the tables - Kim had everyone dancing ALL NIGHT! Aside from that, we had an amazing time, and guests are still talking about how great of a time they had, especially thanks to the DJ for keeping the party going! I would highly recommend Kim and No Macarena for your wedding, or any other special event. Absolutely perfect!

We used Ken Buono from No Macarena and he was AWESOME! Even handled some impromptu occurrences (like the fact that the favors where in 1 big basket by the door instead of on each place setting- he made a special announcement). Plus, he's just a fun guy to chat with, I must have talked sports w/ him for an hour on the phone, after our discussion about the wedding. He got everyone's name right during introductions and.. as the company name No Macarena alludes, he didn't play any of those cheesy wedding songs.... even when it was requested. He has great suggestions for introduction music for the parents, when we were drawing a blank. So, if you are looking to avoid the chicken dance, we are family, celebration, and the like.. and have a fresh anything-but-cookie-cutter soundtrack to your wedding, you found your DJ right here.

My husband and I very much enjoyed having Darrel Asbury of No Macarena DJ our wedding in Princeton October 9, 2010. He was a pleasure to work with; he adapted to our somewhat challenging venue seamlessly, and he was helpful with questions we had leading up to the event. He was careful to avoid songs we did not want, and he was flexible with our many requests. He also did a great job of reading the crowd and keeping the evening going at a good pace. Best of all, he had a great sense of humor, which showed through some clever song selections, so we had a ball. Even my sixty year-old mother thought Darrel did a great job, and that is high praise.

If you are looking for a GREAT company that really cares about what you want, hire No Macarena! They are incredibly reasonable and worth every penny. We are huge music people and didn't want a cookie cutter reception. The cocktail, dinner, and dance music were exactly what we wanted and everyone had a blast. We worked with Josh T. Landow, I highly recommend him. You won't be disappointed!

Kim did a great job at our wedding. She played music without being obnoxious. We gave her a list of songs and she was able to play nearly all of them - and we had quite an eclectic mix, from the Dead Milkmen to Lou Rawls! We were very happy with No Macarena.

The music at the reception was a big priority for my husband, so we needed a DJ that would play more than typical wedding music. My husband and I were very happy with Kim from No Macarena. Everyone raved about the music and it seemed like all of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night, as were we. I would highly recommend No Macarena, and Kim in particular.

We loved Ken from No Macrena. He did exactly what we expected, played great music and stayed in the background! I have a little less on the responsiveness since I probably would have liked to be contacted earlier than 2 weeks before the wedding and I had to reach out to him, but once we got in touch, Ken was awesome! He continually sent me ceremony music as I struggled to pick something and even worked with me as I changed my mind only a day before the ceremony. His help was greatly appreciated and saved me a ton of time looking through the internet for songs.

Fantastic DJ! I was contact with the owner and the DJ that worked my wedding reception. I had a long conversation with the DJ before the event in order for him to understand what music my groom and I wanted to be played. He was very easy to talk to and understood exactly what we wanted. The music played during our cocktail hour, dinner and dancing was perfect. Guests danced all night long and wanted more music once the reception was over. The DJ traveled from Philly to Cape May, NJ for the wedding for a minimal travel cost. It was well worth it! I recommend this DJ to anyone!

Kim rocks. What more is there to say? From the get go she set such a laid back cool vibe. If you're a bride with that same energy, Kim is your girl. I felt so comfortable working with her and she laid out such an amazing music list following the vibe of the crowd. Kim even booked a wedding of our friends that night too! I have recommended her to everyone and anyone....she's great!!

Kim did a wonderful job; our wedding reception felt more like a great party than anything else. Prior to the event, I was fully confident that we made the right choice and she certainly managed to exceed our expectations.

Darrell Asbury of No Macarena were exactly what we were looking for - a solidly good, easy to work with, didn't need a whole lot of direction kind of DJ. We firmly believed in hiring great professionals for our wedding, and letting them do what they do best. We gave Darrel a list of our first dance songs, and a list of songs we liked, but not a specific play list. He took those "indicative" songs and ran with it. He played a great mix of oldies & newies, and the dance floor was full all night.
