User2013589 Sent on 01/18/2015After being blown off by another vendor, we were in search of another caterer for our wedding. New Leaf Catering came highly recommended by our florist and our baker, so we decided to give them a call. From the get-go, Scott was so accommodating - he not only created an amazing menu, but stressed the fact that he and his staff were there for us to help tie up any loose ends that we may have forgotten. We were always in communication, and everything went off without a hitch! We went in for our tasting and he created an entire lunch for me, my now-husband, and my mother. He let us know that if we didn't like anything, things could easily be changed. He asked us what we liked/didn't like about each dish so we could all be on the same page and make improvements/changes where necessary (but everything was delicious!). He created a menu of foods that people could eat while walking around (we stressed the importance of a casual but classy reception; we didn't want guests having to use a knife for anything). All of the guests could not stop raving about the food and about how full they were at the end of the night! Unfortunately we, the bride and groom, were so busy racing around talking to people that we didn't have too much of an appetite :(. The plates looked small at first glance, but were packed with delicious, healthy, filling foods. The staff working the wedding (the waiters/waitresses and the chef) were more than attentive to the guests, making sure they didn't want for anything. We couldn't be happier with our choice to use New Leaf Catering, and we know anyone else who chooses to use them will be just as elated! -

Valerie Sent on 07/08/2011We hired New Leaf to cater our wedding in Palm Springs. Right when we met Scott and Barry for the first time we knew that they would be the perfect people to handle our important event. They met with us way in advance and several times leading up to the event to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted for our wedding. They never seemed like they were in a hurry to get rid fo us, and always had great suggestions on different menu possibilities. When it came time to make the final decisions on what food we would have, they prepared a feast of sample items so there would be no surprises as to how anything would taste. Everything was delicious.
When the weekend of our wedding finally came, they were eager and excited to help make our day a good one. They came the day before to start setting up and preparing just to make sure they had everything they needed for the next day. They seem to really enjoy what they do and it shows. All the food was great. The serving staff they employ was also very professional. All of our guests were impressed by the delicious and random selection of food we had in our cocktail hour appetizer service, as well as our dinner buffet. My wife and I wanted a ton of different items that were our favorites and they were able to make gourmet versions of them and make them all work well together.
I highly recommend New Leaf if you need good catering in the greater Palm Springs area!

Jessica Sent on 01/30/2018Scott single-handedly ruined our wedding planning experience, do yourself a favor and do NOT do business with this corrupt company! He overcharged us a deposit of $6,000 and then no showed our tasting. Instead of doing the right thing and owning up to his mistake, he continues to avoid responsibility and over a year and a half later has YET to pay us even after we won a judgement against him in small claims court. I honestly don't know how he can sleep at night knowing that he's taken advantage of good people.
