Nancy was wonderful to work with. I had a very specific idea in my mind of what I wanted and she kept working on the dress until it was right. She was very professional and I would recommend her to anyone.

Nancy's work is incredible--for anyone looking for a custom-made gown I highly recommend her. She has an innate instinct for what is flattering on a bride and was amazing at translating the look I wanted into a gown that would fit my body type and would even flatter my face shape and bone structure.

I took my dress to Nancy to be altered and was very disappointed. She quoted a price and in the end it ended up costing 3 times that! It was a simple hem and needed to be taken in, in the back. She also told me that it would take a week, and it ended up taking 3 weeks! I got my dress back from her after MANY phone calls and showing up at her house. Her business is also in her basement of her home, which is very messy, and dirty. Her son kept walking downstairs as girls were trying on their dresses and her dog would also come downstairs. I was very unhappy with the results. Overall, it was dirty, there is no privacy to change, cluttered, and she over charges and is terrible at getting back to you.

Nancy is an amazing seamstress and the most amazing person to work with! Every part of the design process was amazing and she (and her team) far surpassed any expectations my mom and I had for my dress. She is very willing to keep your budget in mind while making the higest quality gown money can buy! While my tastes were not as conservative as many Utah brides, Nancy did not hesitate to create the strappy dress of my dreams! I also found my wedding day jewlery through Nancy Barrus Couture.
