The flexibility to be able to order the individual pieces of the invitations and put them together ourselves to save money was great for the budget we were trying to stick to. The invitations turned out better than we imagined. My advice - go ahead and get the matching thank you cards, its hard to find decent ones in the stores for a good price.

My Gatsby.com provided us with beautiful invitations for our wedding. The invitations were perfect. Everything was well packaged and sent in a timely manner.

The only complaint that I would like to add here is that the company never took off the discount for our invitations that I had been promised over the phone.

I liked the website b/c you could design the invites and save your work and look at it right online. Then we recevied proofs via email and there were a ton of mistakes. Including the spelling of the my husbands last name. Then I went back online to look at my saved work and it was all erased. So I had to call the place, 45 minutes later they did wave the first $20 proof fee and send new proofs. I had to fax the changes to them, which only took 5 times for them to finally receive it after calling them 6 times. So, what should have taken 4 days to finally ship things, took 2 wks. They were right once we received them.

MyGatsby.com is a great solution for DIY brides, especially if you are looking for thermography. But their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Their phones were down several times during my invitation search (after you were on hold to speak with someone you would be disconnected), and email response was mediocre, at best.

That being said, I spent hundreds of dollars at this company and was planning on spending hundreds more (be it save-the-dates, thank yous, programs, or menus, etc). I accidentally wrote down the wrong shipping address and contacted them a day later than their 24-hour turn around time (the first business day after ordering over the weekend). I asked them to change it and they said they were going to charge me for an order change. I explained that it wasn't a change to my order, just to where it was shipped.
I explained how much I had spent and how much I was planning to spend, using MyGatsby.com. They didn't budge.

I understand this was my error. But I also expect that when you are giving a vendor hundreds and hundreds of dollars, they should have a little flexibility when stuff like this occurs. Again, I changed nothing about the order itself. I just wanted it shipped to a different address. Plus, the only reason I didn't contact them sooner was because it was over the 4th of July holiday and their offices were closed.

Because MyGatsby.com refused to change the address without a "order change fee," I decided to buy my additional paper stationary needs elsewhere. This was incredibly poor customer service on their end, and their unwillingness to budge on a $10 fee ended up costing them my additional business.

The invitations came very quickly and looked beautiful. I was very happy until I tried testing and sending a couple out to myself. Well, the pressed flower that they sold me to go in the middle of my invitation fell apart in the mail. I tried mailing a couple more and the flowers were just too fragile and fell apart, and the whole invitation looked horrible with a destroyed flower in the middle. I called My Gatsby about this issue and explained what happened. They were apologetic but didnt offer a solution, which is what I needed. I wanted to know if a different type of flower would work better-- since now all my invitations had the space in the middle for the flower to go on. They said a manager would call me back about it and no one ever got back to me. I went on the web site from the package that the flowers came in-- well on their web site the flowers were a LOT less expensive than on My Gatsby. So I just bought a different type of flower, which did work a lot better. never heard from them-- I think they assumed I wanted the money back or something. I just wanted a quality product.
Despite this, the quality of the invitations themselves was great! It looked awesome and wasnt very expensive. Just dont buy any flowers from them-- go to http://www.naturespressed.com/ instead-- it is like 5 times cheaper than their prices!!

I was incredibly disappointed with Mygatsby.com. The products seemed really neat on their website, but when I got my save-the-dates, they looked nothing like how they appeared on the website. When I emailed to complain, the service center was rude and not helpful at all. Finally, when I asked to speak to a manager, they offered to reprint my cards at a discount but by then I was no longer interested.

I ordered my wedding invitations from Mygatspy.com.
The arrived and they did look nice - although I would not recommend to purchase from them!!

I couple of weeks after I ordered my invitations and spent around $1,000 - they mailed out 20% off coupons. I would assume that like most retails stores, they would honor their coupons on past purchases for the past month or so. WRONG! They refused to give me any sort of discount on my past purchase or even print something small to make up the ~$200 or so that I lost.

In my opinion - pick another vendor that is able to provide a high level of customer service, which Mygatspy.com does not have.

We ordered our invitations from here and they looked horrible. They say that they are not responsible for color discrepencies between the computer screen and the actual color, but they were nowhere near the same! They did not refund our money back and we ended up having to order completely new invitations elsewhere. I will admit that we did not order a sample, which was our fault, but things should have been handled a little better on their part.
