Soor was our wedding DJ....He is a very professional and polite person with a very charming personality..Even though I had requested some hard to find middle eastern songs,he didn't hesitate at all ...Also the manager Jennifer is a great person ,she responded super quick to my emails ,and even late at night..I have to say that soor did the same thing...he was on top of everything..And because my husband and I liked Soor a lot,we picked him to be the MC,which worked out very well...I would highly recommend this friendly company to everyone...

We had a wonderful experience working with Michael Bell of MyDeejay. He helped us create the perfect playlist to make our wedding personal and fun. We were pretty specific about what we wanted and he worked with us on everything. He was super responsive during the planning process - very helpful and informative. At the reception, Mike was gracious and professional - going way beyond what we expected of him. He had everyone up and dancing from the first song to the last dance - no awkard or cheesy moments whatsoever. At the request of a wedding guest, he played a encore bonus song at the end. After what must have been a long night for him, we really appreciated this gesture. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a professional, fun, and fantastic music experience. :)

Evan did an amazing job. He played lots of the songs we love but worked them in with other songs so the dance flowed well. My husband played a surprise song on the guitar and was able to use Evan's mic. We walked into a different song than I expected to but it was probably because I forgot to give a song for the walk in. Evan was very independent and took control of things that needed to be done. The last song of the night was undecided until last minute because my husband and I were up in the air about it. Evan took care of it last minute for us and it all worked out GREAT! He made us feel so comfortable with our decision. He was very confidant and not a typical "DJ" personality. Very classy.

MyDeeJay.com was a great company to work with. We found them online and we like how they flexible they were. Jeff Brown was our DJ and he was fantastic! We met with Jeff and he was very open to what we wanted to hear. We emailed him a list of songs that we wanted and he had everything ready to go on the big day. He also helped us with wedding music for when our guest were arriving. The day of, everything was set up properly and everything ran smoothly. During the reception, my cousin asked him to play a dance-along song that wasn't on our list, so he said he would have to check with the Bride and the Groom - which I loved! It was ok but I love that he wanted to check with us first. He played alot of music that fit right in with what we requested and everyone was on the dance floor all night long. Jeff Brown was a fantastic DJ and we highly recommend MyDeeJay.com.

From our initial contact with Mydeejay.com to our actual wedding day, our experience was nothing but spectacular. We were lucky enough to have Evan as our DJ and he was fabulous. During our planning process, he was always so incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any form of communication (which at times boggled my mind because I know how busy this man is!). He's such a warm, easy going, classy guy who obviously cares a lot about doing only his best. My husband still raves how Evan even took the time to always check in on us personally and made sure we were taken care of at our cocktail hour/reception (drinks, etc.). We gave him quite a list of songs and he did an excellent job reading our crowd and playing what really worked and moving on quickly when something didn't. We have only high praise for both Evan and the company and would most definitely recommend them to any other couple!

If we could provide a higher score than 5.0/5.0, we would. MyDeejay was a great organization with which to work. In particular, we very much enjoyed the service provided by Soor Kothari, our DJ. He was extremely professional, very responsive, helpful, and attentive to our needs. We provided him with a list of music and he went above and beyond the call of duty. I've never seen our friends and family dance so much! We couldn't get them off the dance floor at the end of the night! He even helped out with the schedule that evening, saving time and making our guests feel more comfortable. Great fun had by all!

From pre-booking through the end of our wedding reception, our experience was excellent. The Mydeejay.com team was very responsive and helpful when we were considering various vendors. Once we had booked, the online planning forms and music request forms were very useful and helped us organize our thoughts with respect to music. Our DJ, Soor Kothari, was outstanding. He kept us on track with planning, had excellent suggestions for both music and timelines, and was able to procure hard-to-find music. On the day of the wedding and reception, he was friendly and professional and just plain wonderful. He read the crowd very well and got just about everyone up on the dance floor. Compared to other vendors, Mydeejay.com was by far the best value for cost, and offered a discount for up-front payment. We highly recommend Mydeejay.com.

Evan was absolutely wonderful. He was the first and only DJ we interviewed when booking one for our wedding reception. Our meetings were professional, fun, and organized, and the online song database, request form, and event timeline were wonderful tools to be able to use. Evan kept in touch with us so that by the day of the wedding, everything was covered and in place. At our reception, Evan was, again, professional and well-spoken, and he emceed the event with the perfect amount of involvement. The music was perfect. We were so glad he was able to DJ for us, and I would highly recommend him to anyone searching for a DJ.

This is a wonderful, extremely professional company. Evan was our DJ, and he could not have been more courteous and responsive - not to mention that he's just a very cool guy. He rocked out some awesome, perfectly mixed music at our reception which had one guest doing the classic 'worm' breakdance move... always the sign of a great party.
I would 100 per cent recommend My Deejay.com - they are an all-star team and we were absolutely delighted with them.

Evan Reitmeyer of Mydeejay.com was an amazing vendor to work with. We had interviewed other DJs and to be honest, they were pushy and salesman-esque. So when I made the appointment to meet with Evan I braced myself for a repeat of the previous DJ interviews. Not only did we have well thought out un-pushy, planning meetings with him but he (and his wife Jennifer) were amazingly responsive to email requests. My husband and I really enjoyed following Evan on Twitter (we're avid tweeters) and following his blog for helpful tips (also avid bloggers). I think it gave us an insider look and we were able know Evan better as a person and not just our DJ.
A few weeks out from the wedding my husband and I were starting to panic, we didn?t have any of the special dance songs picked out. We couldn?t decide on a first dance song, my husband had the hardest time finding a mother/son song, and we were completely stumped for our ceremony music. At our final meeting before the wedding Evan gave us recommendations for everything ? and we loved the choices! I can honestly say that our ceremony ran smoothly because of his cues, we had a tricky set-up and he worked it perfectly. The dance floor was packed by the end of the night and all anyone could tell me was how much fun they had. I love looking at our photos and seeing all of our friends and family having such a good time. Evan also came over to check on us during dinner, asked if we needed anything, and brought us water (not even our caterer did that)! Evan was our favorite vendor and is a genuine down to earth person that you can tell loves his job; if I could give more than a 5 I would!

mydeejay.com as a company is fantastic. They purchase Renewable Energy Certificates to offset their impact on the environment, use recycled paper, and minimize waste. I was sold on that alone.
In addition, Anthony Simpson of mydeejay.com is a stellar DJ! We wanted a lot of Motown and minimal announcements. Anthony had no problem with these requests. He kept our guests of all ages dancing the night away! In fact, I saw people dancing at our wedding who I had never seen dance before at other events. What a surprise! Even my 85 year old grandmother was getting down!
At one point, some of our desserts came out earlier than expected and Anthony handled the situation with great ease and made sure that no one ate before we gave a small speech.
Love mydeejay.com and HIGHLY recommend them! Anthony is FABULOUS!

LOVED Evan. He was such a great DJ and all my guests thought he was fantastic too. His company played at my husband's cousin's wedding and we loved their set-up so that's why we chose them. We can not say enough good things about our experience with MyDeeJay.com, specifically with our DJ, Soor Kothari. Not only did Soor do a fantastic job with the music, he made himself available to us whenever we needed and for whatever we needed (even if it had nothing to do with music!)
People are still thanking us for how much of a great time they had at our wedding. We both highly recommend working with MyDeeJay.com. Evan has a great business and great people working with him. If you want one less thing to worry about for your reception, and need a DJ, these are the guys to do it. We have attended many weddings where DJs are more obnoxious than entertaining. Soor was by far the best, and our guests agreed.
