My wife did not think she needed a planner so as a wedding gift to her I hired Kristina for her "day of" services. I am so glad I did. She handled all of the little things that my wife thought she would do which allowed her to relax and enjoy her day. When our DJ did not show up I thought my wife would freak but Kristina pulled out her vendor list and called everyone till she found someone who could come out. Kristina saved our wedding day and I can't thank her enough for everything!

I was completely disappointed with this vendor. Kristina was unprepared at the walkthrough at my venue. At the walkthrough, I realized I had forgotten a list that I had also sent her of things to review with my venue. I asked her for her copy, but she didn?t bring it.
At the rehearsal--she didn't even know what order the wedding party should enter in even though I gave her a copy of the program. Her response was "I didn't know you wanted everyone to enter in the order they were listed in the program". All the program included was a list of the processional and a rundown on the back of the order of the ceremony.
Kristina prepared a timeline that did not take into account the times I booked the vendor and made no sense. It looked as though she just cut and pasted someone else?s timeline into mine. It didn?t include any vendor arrival times and glossed over the fact that the bridesmaids and I were getting ready in two separate locations. It wasn?t helpful at all and I had to redo it.
Kristina sent my photographer the timeline (I drafted) which indicated when her assistant photgrapher should meet my husband at the hotel but never bothered to give the photographer any additional information, such as the location of the hotel. I had to coordinate the info with the photographer directly.
Kristina dropped the ball in making sure the box of coloring books/bubbles were under the kids table--my 7 year old flower girl reminded me at the reception that she couldn't find the "special box" I was supposed to leave for her. Then I had to make sure she got the stuff.
Worst of all, at the wedding, she didn't remember that the night before we had switched the location of certain tables and put the wrong table numbers on the wrong tables resulting in there not being enough seats at some tables, too much at others, and my mother ending up sitting in a corner. I know the club didn?t mess this up because they had the tables set up correctly with the change. When my sister in law first alerted her to the problem, her reaction was "that can't be" rather than trying to fix the problem.
This resulted in the whole wedding getting off schedule by one hour. My DJ said he never saw a wedding get as off schedule as ours. We had to pay the cocktail musician more to play longer and we cut the cake an hour late, which meant we only had 1 hour of dancing before the wedding was over. Kristina's assistant, who was much more visible at the wedding than Kristina was wearing sneakers, a black t-shirt and black jeans (the club had a dress code and she was violating it), though she seemed to be a little more on the ball than Kristina. I am baffled that she received any positive reviews. My wedding was great despite Kristina, not because of her.
UPDATE: In reply to Kristina's response--1) there were ZERO unexpected guests at my wedding--in fact one guest was unable to attend so there should have been more seating, not less. 2) The inclement weather was a non-issue. We were actually thrilled, in retrospect, to have held the ceremony indoors. Plus, the weather cleared up and we were able to have the photos outside, which was perfect. 3) I have no idea what she even means by communicating available options--options to what? I already had an inclement weather plan that I negotiated with the Club and the plan worked. The problems with the wedding had nothing to do with this. 4) I never even spoke with Kristina after the wedding began, all I ever saw was her sneaker-clad assistant 5) Kristina does not address why she was unprepared for the walk through and the other issues I raised; 6) Kristina claims there were unexpected events "beyond our control", which there weren't. That said--isn't that what a DOC is supposed to do--handle the unexpected?? She couldn't even handle the expected!
Clearly, Kristina continues to try to place blame anywhere than squarely where it belongs.

Thanks to My Bride Idea, my wedding day was perfect! Kristina and her team did a phenominal job on making sure everything went seamlessly on my special day. My Bride idea was also there with me during the initial planning stages. The professionalism and quality of service is unsurpassed. Kristina was very punctual, organized, and very personable. I felt so comfortable with her that at times I felt like I was talking to old friend. If you think that a high quality wedding planner is not in your budget, think again! Kristina has packages that fits every brides budget. This is a service well worth investing in. I highly recommend My Bride Idea for all of your wedding planning needs!

Kristina and her assistant made my wedding day completely stress free. They were on point for everything. They made sure things went smoothly and answered any questions that came up. If there were any problems they were solved and I was completely unaware and everything went smoothly. They helped my wedding day be one of the best days ever.
The day of my wedding they set up the reception, putting things where they needed to go. I had a lot of little DIY details and they were all attended too. It looked amazing. When I walked into the reception it was the first time I had seen it all put together and it was breathtaking.
I would highly recommend my Bride idea. She has great ideas. She also helped me find a florist, and in a pinch found an amazing DJ and a photobooth. It was such a relief to have someone with experience be your go-to person for last minute wedding details. I am so glad that I met her and she was apart of my wedding day.

Kristina did a great job helping me in the month prior to my wedding and on my wedding day. She works with excellent vendors and helped me find a great florist last minute. She is very handy and even made my veil. She was always willing to meet and attend fittings, rehearsal, and more. I definitely would recommend her to help plan your wedding.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Kristina and her assistant Katie. I contracted Kristina less than 3 months before the wedding for the "day of coordination" services. I got so much more! She was always available to attend meetings with vendors and rehearsals. She was never more than 1 phone call/email away, ready to help with anything I needed. The wedding went by without a hitch, as far as I could tell, lol. That's how its supposed to be! During the course of the reception, the bustle on my dress broke. No problem! Kristina rushed me away with her emergency kit and fixed me right up. I just can't say enough about my experience. I would definitely recommend My Bride Idea to any bride!

When a bride dreams of her wedding day, she thinks of flowers, her dress, her hair, etc. She doesn't think of missing buttons on the tux, her dress ripping, rude vendors, or late limos. But fortunately if you have someone like My Bride Idea, you don't have to worry about those details either! My Bride Idea ran our wedding event on June 28, 2009 and I can honestly say that the day would not have been as smooth or as wonderful without them there. They were professional, thorough, and a lifesaver a few times that day! And the different wedding packages that she offered made me able to customize the level of involvement I wanted from a wedding coordinator during the planning process. They without doubt exceeded our expectations, resulting in wonderful memories for us, our family and friends. They instantly got our personalities and characters and created a wedding day around them to suit our taste and style. Everything you could want from a wedding planner and more. Very diligent, responsive and friendly. They know the market well, and put in a lot of effort making our wedding seamless and a really special event. They were a joy to work with they greatly reduced the amount of time my husband and I had to spend obsessing over small details and I would highly recommend them to others looking for similar support. Their organization and calm approach to my wedding made me so confident, that I just enjoyed the day. They're experience in dealing with suppliers and vendors proved invaluable. The end result wowed our guests.
Everything exceeded expectations, and many of our guest said that it was just perfect and truly reflected me. The evening ran seamlessly (or at least that's the way it looked to me). Their involvement with this event brought it up to a different level. They instantly understood the look and feel we wanted, and they came up with more brilliant ideas to tie it all together. All our guests commented on how fantastic the flowers were, how beautiful the table decorations were how everything had been meticulously decorated, from the dangling crystals to the tea lights carefully placed around the room. They did exactly as they promised, within our budget, and were without doubt the most professional of all the suppliers we used for our wedding day.
The whole process went like a dream! Their service was impeccable. Their list of contacts is superb. They provided us with exactly what we wanted. There was no pressure, and their huge amount of experience and skills ensured our party was a great success. Everyone had such a great time!!! I would highly recommend My Bride Idea to any one arranging a wedding as their expertise and knowledge is second to none. Who knew the day we hired them that we would be gaining not only a great planner, but a great friend!

Kristina and Katie did a fabulous job coordinating the day of activities for my wedding! I especially appreciated their willingness to solve problems and help me make last minute decisions. I did not want to have to worry about last minute details and they made that happen! Kristina did a great job remembering my requests from our walk-through before the wedding and was wonderful at the rehearsal. Thanks so much for a perfect day!! A+++ - Kristina and her sister were amazing! Kristina was always so responsive. If I called or emailed her, she would write back or call back immediately. She was SO easy to work with, and she had everything organized, and she was always prepared! She was so awesome! Everything the night of the wedding went off without a hitch, and her and her sister were so professional and knew everything that was going on, and they were prepared for everything. When it rained, she immediately gathered everything up, and we moved it inside, and she didn't even blink. It wasn't a problem, and it worked perfectly! What an awesome wedding day, and a great wedding coordinator. I recommend Kristina for wedding planning and coordination! You can't go wrong!!

My Bride Idea provided SUPERIOR service. Kristina and her team went above and beyond what I expected especially for the cost. Her services are VERY AFFORDABLE and believe me when I say this. I was a penny penching bride who thought I couldn't afford a coordinator and boy was I wrong. Although I pretty much planned the wedding details myself, I hired Kristina to help tie everything together for my wedding day. She not only provided exceptional service the day of but weeks prior. She was very knowledgeable and helped make my day flow. I felt confident that she would make my day beautiful and she exceeded my expectations.
