The cake was both lovely to look at and good to eat. We had some trouble with communication due to the fact I do not speak Spanish and most of the bakery staff does. We live in Virginia and most planning had to done over the phone, if we were in Miami I think it would have been easier.

My Mother in Law purchased the Groom's cake from Mr. Bee's. She had used them previously for my sister in law's engagement party and we loved the cake! This time we ordered a red velvet cake made to look like "The Frog Prince." This was the best red velvet I've ever had! Everyone at the rehearsal dinner LOVED it and we were shocked at how amazing the cake looked. It was a shame to have to cut into it!! I highly recommend Mr. Bee's.

We were a little worried about the bad reviews we saw here. I am a baker myself and there is nothing that would have annoyed me more than bad wedding cake!
However the cake we received from Mr. Bee's on my wedding was delicious!!!! the garnish was delicious and the cake itself was decadently moist and not tooo sweet, just like I like it :-) This is one happy bride, my groom told me the other day that maybe we can break tradition of waiting a year to have the top layer of the cake and maybe just wait one month to have it instead, haha

How interesting we have yet to received a single complain from any of our bride or Cocoplum, you figured a bride as angry and heartbroken as this one would at least call and complain to those who made her cake and or the banquet hall . Placing this kind of comment under no face and no name just makes us wonder if she is even real. What kind of person would put weigh on a comment like this one, when the person who commented would not even show herself? This actually makes us feel good, VERY GOOD, because that just means they don’t have what it takes to beat us in quality or talent, so they resource to tricks like this one. Oh well, regardless we would like to use this opportunity to invite everyone to come to our store for a free tasting and judge for yourselves. Here are some helpful tips for those who are shopping around for a cake regardless of the event. 1st Ask to see where your cake is going to be cooked (it is your right as a paying customer and not everyone can show you their kitchen or pans for that matter), 2nd don’t be afraid to demand attention and 3rd always, always absolutely always ask to taste the cake. After all it is your special day and you deserve the Royal treatment, the kind of treatment you receive, when you walk in the door at Mr. Bees Cake. We proudly stand behind our product, we know we are good because we love what we do and you can taste it in every bite…

I choose this vendor as part of my package at the Coco plum's woman's club. It was a disaster! The design outside was ok but the taste was awful. cold and just plain dry, not edible at all. I mean the taste was a priorty for both me and my fiance. What i dont understand is how can such a prestigious place like coco plum included such a bad baker period. I had one other option and seriously I went with them because Ive never heard of them before and wanned to try something custom and new. BUT i guess why they are not known now!!!!!!!!!!

Im still so devasted since this really ruined part of my day, all my family members kept asking me if it was refrigerated cake. The last thing I wanned to hear was this on my special day.

I wont even bother asking for a refund since I am sure they wont since it was "part of my package" but Even if it was a basic cake it should still be beautiful.
