Selena was so easy to work with and extremely excited to make our day perfect! We had a very unusual wedding theme...Cartoons! Selena had never done a wedding like this before but thinking outside the box is really her specialty! Her creativity is astounding!! She surpassed even what we had envisioned!!
Selena came to reception venue appointments with us so that we could get her ideas as to what would work and what wouldn't for our wedding. She also made all of the flower bouquets, boutonniers and corsages for our wedding as well as decorations and the guest favors.
Our wedding day was perfect and planning was so much easier with Selena's help. I am so thankful that she was our wedding planner and I have already referred her to other people that I know that are throwing anniversary parties. We would hire her again for any future party that we may throw.

I contacted Selena to help me with planning my wedding after finding out I was Pregnant! We were having a reaffirmation of our vows, we had been trying to concieve and then everything just blew up all at once.

Upon speaking with Selena I was so relaxed and confident that everything was going to be taken care of. Selena met with me the next day, I gave her all of my information and before I knew it she emailed me everything organized, a timeline I could understand, all the logistics and kinks were worked out.

Selena really put my mind at ease and on the wedding day everything ran smoothly, she was helpful and a god sent. I didn't think I was going to need someone to help me but after everything I'm so glad things worked out the way they did.

I really have to give this girl credit for helping my wife and I , we were a mess when we came to Selena. My wife was moved within her job to Alberta for 3 months, which left me alone to try and make it to meetings with vendors, find a photographer and pick out decor? Yikes!
I called Selena , well I emailed her late one night and she responded within the hour...very surprised I was. We chatted online and I told her my sob story (haha) and she picked up on my worries and concerns easily. Selena was quick to jump into action to help me with things, she also contacted my wife and got her side of things via email.
Our wedding was being held at my parents farm, there were so many little details we had not thought about, there were issues with parking and getting the caterer's in...but Selena solved it all.

I am so happy that we had the chance to work together with Selena, we weren't prepared to foot the bill to have a planner but it was worth it in the end, we couldn't have done it without her. My wife still laughs about how I thought it was nothing to plan our own wedding and how I was going to be an "Involved" Groom, I was not prepared for it all and sad to say...or happy to say...Selena saved us, me.

WE would recommend Selena of Moments by McKnight in a flash, she was super easy to talk to, professional and caring about our situations. Our family and friends found her to be a joy and when she took the time to make a kids activity basket for those in attendance, we knew we had found the right person to help us with our day. Selena went above and beyond what we expected from a planner, she brought all the pieces together, supplied us with FAB vendors and even took all our rental supplies back for us so we could leave on our honeymoon.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you again to Selena of Moments by McKnight for helping us with our Wedding. The minute we met with Selena she was full of insight and ideas for us, she had a constant smile on her face and was really humourous. We felt overwhelmed by all things left to do but when we left our meeting we were confident in her abilities.

Our wedding plans had some major changes and adjustments but Selena made sure we were on schedule and on budget. Her attention to detail was impeccable, we loved seeing everything to come together and on our wedding day, entering into our ceremony for the first time our hearts were filled with excitement. The Ceremony was completely our vision down to the rose petals and candlelight.

Selena worked with my husband to arrange all the details of our honeymoon and our hotel suite, it was very romantic and again the details, everything was perfect and I will always remember that.

Selena added special touches to our wedding that we display in our home today, many of these were custom made to accomodate our theme and style which was far from ordinary.

Selena displays a true love for weddings, her abilty to deal with any circumstance, and prepearation was simply amazing.

My time spent with Selena was really enjoyable, I would recommend her services to anyone looking for a great wedding planner with a great sence of humour to boot.

Let me begin by saying that Selena went out of her way first and formost to accomodate my schedule unlike any other planner I spoke with. Other planners wanted to meet with me at their offices and make me take the day off work in order to do so. I don't know about some people when wedding planning but it doesn't come cheap and taking the day off work and loosing money to plan a wedding...is not my cup of tea. Selena and I chatted via email and she met with me late during the week to go over details and concerns, she always had options for us as well.

My husband and I found Selena and Julie to be so outgoing and friendly!. It's was really nice to talk to someone who was really there to help us and not make it all about money. Selena and her crew came up with some great ideas, found us some wonderful vendors and decorating deals. Selena made sure we had every aspect of our wedding covered right down to providing my guests "bathroom kits".

Selena took part in family celebrations outside of just the wedding day, an indian wedding last over a week and she was there for almost every gathering. We had a change, well many changes in the guest list and never once did she break a sweat. Our wedding guest list went from 250 to 345 !

Everything aside I really value the friendship we developed over the time we were working together. To this day we still keep in contact and she has helped plan my baby shower and parents 50th wedding anniversary. I recommend her at every chance I get.

Moments by McKnight has proven to be creative, helpful, reliable and honestly hard working. The special touches they added to every occasion has been greatly appreciated & Julie ( jr. assistant ) was wonderful helping with the kids corner and activities.
