I didn't realize how special custom invitations were until we did them - they set a distinctive, thoughtful, beautiful tone for everyone way before the event even happens. We got constant compliments on everything they did for us: save the dates, invitations, thank you cards and programs (literally, friends went out of their way to tell us these were the most amazing wedding invitations they had ever seen!) and we were proud to tell people we designed them with Melangerie. This was money well spent.

Both owners met with us several times, educated us on all options, price ranges and designed the most ingenius concepts. They really listened and melded both of our styles. This is a small company with very talented people and nothing falls through the cracks. They kept us on schedule and in passing conversation even gave us great ideas for projects they weren't even working on for us. They are a great resource.

We will be working with them on post wedding projects too.

Elana and Julie did an AMAZING job with the welcome gifts for our wedding this past July.

We got married in Brooklyn, NY and they designed a fabulous custom mélange (like a gift basket, but way more nicely designed) that included products from our favorite Brooklyn shops. The mélange also included an awesome custom guide that featured our wedding event locations, as well as highlights of our favorite places to hang-out, eat & shop in Brooklyn. The packaging was impeccable too...they used vintage tins! All the guests LOVED them and thought they were super thoughtful and well put-together.

Elana and Julie came up with the perfect invitations and materials for our wedding. Before getting started they asked us all about ourselves and our wedding. Then we all brainstormed some ideas together, and they came back with great designs to choose from.

Throughout the whole project they were attentive and easy to work with. We love the way they took our ideas and turned them into something that reflects us and our wedding.

The Melangerie girls are great at what they do. They are so creative and personalize your invitation to reflect who you are. They are so organized and helpful in every step of the process.

Melangerie designed a couple of pieces of custom of memorabilia for us that are both beautiful and clever.

For our reception the ladies at Melangerie put together a seating arrangement chart which detailed how my husband and I know all of our guests using icons that denoted our relationships, i.e. childhood friend, neighbor, family, from work, etc. They printed the seating arrangement large format and displayed it at the reception. It served as a way to instruct our guests where to sit and also got conversation going.

A few months after the wedding, Melangerie designed a bound, custom keepsake book which included the seating arrangement chart they had done for us earlier, as well as photos and other details from our wedding. Their craftmanship and attention to detail is flawless and their organization and professionalism was a breath of fresh air. I love the two items they created for me–beautiful!
