We had our wedding there at night in August and it was wonderful. They added extra lighting to the gazebo to make it really beautiful since the sun had already set. I've had so many compliments on what a beautiful place it is and it was also so easy to plan. Katherine and Joche helped me plan all the details for my flowers, both of our cakes, which I have to add that the creme brule filling is to die for!, and to create a delicious and fun menu. I definitely recommend Mediteranean Villa to anyone!

We had my daughter's event at the Villa and everything was beautiful. So many compliments from our guests. I could not have picked a better place for my daughter's quinceanera. The food was delicious, the cake a piece of artwork, and the flowers/decor were breathtaking! Thank you Joche and Elizabeth for going above and beyond our expectations!

I just wanted to say that we had the most wonderful wedding there! Was absolutely perfect and everything I ever wanted. Josh is an excellent planner! Food was great!

Mediterranean Villa gave me a wonderful reception. The food and the service were great and even though we were extremely late due to circumstances outside of our control they were very courteous and showed great professionalism. The staff was very patient and very easy to work with. My wedding planner kept everything in line and made up for the lost time and he even made arrangements with us to extend the reception. Actually our date was booked originally and he and the owner said that they could make their chapel a reception spot. We loved the decor of the chapel so we booked. They transformed their chapel into a beautiful reception hall for the night! It was unbelievable and we didn't even get to see exactly what it would look like except for a floorplan. I was so impressed and so happy that we did it there!

Mediterranean Villa destroyed my wedding big time. JoAnne was my wedding coordinator and she pretty much demanded that I don’t use outside vendors. She started out nice at 1st, telling me and my husband that it was ok if 10-15 more quest show up at the wedding. Because with less people you was paying more per plate. They didn’t have red cake tape to put on the cake, so they asked me to go buy some if I wanted it. The day of the wedding before I had walked down. JoAnne demanded $500.00 extra because 15 more quest had showed up.
I asked her if she could just take it out of our deposit since we had already paid her in full. They made my quest stand at the wedding ceremony and took up the tables and chairs from them. During the cake cutting for the pictures, the knife wouldn’t cut through the cake because Jo Anne had placed a fake cake on the table. The grooms cake was dry and over cooked. And after all of that they still took my deposit. If you are reading this...plz don’t use this place..they are so rude and money hungry.

Our overall wedding was a success at the Villa. We were shocked on how everything turned out because of the bad reviews we had read. But we were fully prepared for any surprises. Our on site coordinator was JoAnn; anytime I had a question she would respond within 24 hours. JoAnn was easy for us to work with. We did have a few problems prior to the wedding but everything worked out. For example, JoAnn told us that we could not bring in an outside linen vendor since this was one of their services they offered and because we had a minimum. However, after looking at our contract that we signed two years ago, it did not say anything about a minimum nor anything about bringing in outside vendors. Therefore, we were able to bring in a linen vendor for the wedding. Our other issue we had was our old coordinator, Bandi, told us if our guest list grew we could change our room and the amount of people for the rate in our contract. However, when we noticed our guest list was growing we contacted JoAnn to see if the other room was still open and we found out we would have to pay a minimum. After talking with the owner, she would not work with us so we decided to leave it the way it was.

We gave the Villa a good value for the cost because we booked the venue two years prior to our wedding, which made it a great deal. The owner is not flexible at all. However, JoAnn was somewhat flexible with us. The reason why we said somewhat flexible because at our rehearsal, she practically kicked us out by turning the lights out. However our family just kept talking, completely ignoring her. I thought it was hilarious because another bride warned us about this. We almost thought someone was going to say words of choice to her for picking up people purses because she was ready to go. But after thinking about this, I could understand where JoAnn was coming from. At the end of the day I am ready to go home from work to my hubby on time. On our wedding day, JoAnn was flexible with us. When I told her the reception room was hot, she sent someone to turn down the temperature. Also, at our wedding she turned on the lights because it was time for us to leave and I politely asked her to turn the lights off because we had only two dances left. Which she honored.

The catering was awesome! The food was perfect. Our cake was scrumptious and exactly like we wanted. We are still getting compliments on how beautiful everything was and how good the food was.

When booking this venue I recommend to any "bride to be" to hire a wedding coordinator. This prevents a lot of stress. I was stress free on the wedding day, if something did occur I have no idea because our day of coordinator took care of it.

This is a pretty expensive venue, but it is well worth the money. When you book with them they give you your own wedding coordinator and my guy, Joshe, is the most helpful one. He is all over everything and I never had to worry if something was getting done. It is just a wonderful place to get married.

We were so happy to be able to spend our special day at the Villa! Elizabeth and her staff are FANTASTIC. Joche was our planner, and we really enjoyed getting to know him! He was so great at knowing what we wanted, and putting all of the details together. Our wedding day was PERFECT thanks to them. Plus, you can't beat being able to do your food, cake, flowers, and all of that at one place! Everything was incredibly convenient and simple.

The venue was beautiful and our wedding consultant Joche was amazing. He answered every question quickly and if he didnt know it, he found the answer.

I was overall pretty happy with Mediterranean Villa. When I first booked there I was working with a girl and she was wonderful, but she left before my wedding date and I was left with another coordinator. I did not think the new coordinator was friendly or professional at all. There were a few minor things wrong at my wedding, but it wasn't anything major by any means and did not disrupt the wedding at all. After the wedding we reported our issues with the coordinator and mistakes to the management. They were quick to compensate us for the mistakes that were made, so I think that was plenty fair. As far as price goes, they were average, not a great bargain but not the most expensive either. I would reccomend it and if I had to do it over again I still would have had our wedding there.

I loved Medit Villa. The location was beautiful! I was really impressed that it was essentially a one stop shop meaning that they had a beautiful chapel as well as the reception venue. The provided the flowers and could have made the cake. We did choose to use a seperate venue for our cake, but they do cakes as well. Every detail that we described they were able to provide. They made our day super special! We couldn't have found a better place!

Microphones were not working in the ceremony hall. The on site coordinator sent the bridesmaids down the aisle to the wrong song. The on site coordinator allowed guests to enter while the bridesmaids were walking down the aisle instead of waiting until after the bride entered.

Mediterranean Villa is a beautiful establishment, but their management team is horrible. If you are not using all their services, they could care less about you. I contracted out my cake and flowers and the manager told my flower lady she needed to bring in her own water. They also BUTCHERED my cake. Who cuts up an entire wedding cake and then throws it in a foil pan for the bride to take home.

Also, I called the week before my wedding asking would all guests in attendance receive a cup of wine or sparkling cidar for the toast and was assured they would. That was incorrect, only 5 people received something to drink during the toast and they brought me a HOT bottle of sparkling cidar to toast with.

The manager took it upon herself to charge me an additional amount of money after my wedding, which was not in my contract, because she felt I should have been charged. As someone in another review stated, she is all about cash. In order to have a successful business, you must make sure you give adequate service to the customers you currently have, so I don't think MV will be in business long.

This place is beautiful and we were so happy to have celebrated our special day at this place. Our coordinator at the Med. villa was Holly. She is a bride's dream come true. She is very professional and all the little stuff is very important to her. She made sure that the villa was ready for our special day. The Villa is beyond words. It's beautiful. The chapel is gorgeous. Go checkout their website and then make an appoinment with Holly at the villa. You have to go see the villa in person!!!

Mediterranean Villa is a B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L place. If you want a beautiful venue then this is the place for you. If you want quality service to help plan your wedding then you might still hire a wedding planner for your wedding.

First, most venues give you a discount on either the wedding site or the reception site if you have both at their location, Med Villa does not.

Second, the person who first started showing us around was great. Then another employee pulled her away to take care of another customer and so when we agreed to have our wedding there we got her as a wedding planner and in my opinion she was not very professional.

Third, they did not follow-up with me and ask me questions to make sure they had all of the information they needed. I was having to make sure they had what they needed.

Fourth, we had an afternoon wedding with no dancing or alcohol and when we said we didn't want a dance floor they looked at us in disbelief like we were stupid for not wanting one, but we had no reason for one. Also, if you just want to play background music and not have a DJ at your reception their audio system at the time was not very good, we ended up having to burn CD's for them and then they only had a single disc changer. Another note about the sound, is that when we were announced coming into the reception all they did not have a hand held mic for someone to use, instead all they had was a lapel mic that someone had to hold.

Fifth, the day of the wedding they had another bride's portrait displayed in front of the reception room for MY wedding!!!

Sixth, I requested rose petals so throw as I walked to the car and they didn't have any. All they could find there was bright pink rose petals (my wedding colors were gold, deep purple and light green).

Seventh, (and I didn't find this out until recently) they made my cake wrong! When I tasted my cake on my one year anniversary I realized they had made me a lemon cake! I remember commenting to my husband at the reception that it wasn't as good as it was at the tasting and now I know why!!!

As I stated, I thought the site was beautiful and it was perfect for the Italian themed wedding that we planned and I couldn't have asked for a prettier place to have my wedding. I believe that had I had the original wedding planner I would have been much happier, but others on this site have been disappointed with her as well. I will say that the night they had their open house and I was looking at all the pretty tables, my wedding planner didn't even so much as greet me. She was with other clients as well, but not once did she even say hello or let me know that she would help in a minute. I was able to get the attention of the other planner and she walked me through so much and helped me save a lot of money and still get the look of the reception hall the way I envisioned.

In closing I will say that not once since my wedding have I heard from Med Villa, not even a simple card or email thanking us for using them as a facility. You would think that after spending over $10K there they could at least say thank you.
